Wyclef Jean and Mark Cuban Set to Headline Lineup for Detroit Edition of Global Citizen NOW
Global Citizen NOW is going on the road.
In what marks the first U.S. edition to be held outside New York, the organization is mounting Global Citizen NOW: Detroit. Presented by real estate firm Bedrock, the summit will take place at Hudson's Detroit on July 10 and feature leaders from multiple business and cultural sectors discussing the future of cities and urban revitalization.

Global Citizen NOW: Detroit co-chairs include Bedrock Detroit CEO Kofi Bonner; Forbes chief content officer Randall Lane; Rocket executive vp of product engineering Papanii Okai; onetime Detroit Lion Romeo Okwara; and Detroit City Council president Mary Sheffield. Additional support for the event comes from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Cisco, Delta Air Lines, PayPal and media partner Forbes. The day's programming will be capped by a live music event at Third Man Records featuring Jean on stage with other surprise special guests.

The Telegram founder recently revealed that he's dividing his massive fortune—an estimated $17.1 billion, per Forbes—between all 106 of his children. 'I want to specify that I make no difference between my children: There are those who were conceived naturally and those who come from my sperm donations,' Durov, 40, told French outlet Le Point in an interview published June 19. 'They are all my children and will all have the same rights. I don't want them to tear each other apart after my death.' In fact, Durov—who launched Telegram, a cloud-based messaging app, alongside his brother Nikolai Durov in 2013—noted his offspring will not have access to their inheritances until '30 years' after the day of his interview with the French publication. 'I want them to live like normal people,' he continued, 'to build themselves up alone, to learn to trust themselves, to be able to create, not to be dependent on a bank account.' That is why we see so many attacks that target the likes of Gmail accounts, the Microsoft Windows operating system and, most recently, Facebook passwords. Amazon, as you might expect given its status in the world of online retail, is not immune to this attention. With the retail giant announcing that this year's Prime Day sales will span four days in July, hackers will already be making their nefarious plans.
