Hesham Nazih Joins Marvel Again to Score 'Eyes of Wakanda' Animated Series, Streaming August 6 on Disney+
Renowned Egyptian composer Hesham Nazih has announced his latest collaboration with Marvel Animation: composing the score for Eyes of Wakanda, a new animated series set to premiere on Disney+ on August 6, 2025.
Nazih shared the exciting news via his official platforms, marking his second partnership with Marvel following the global acclaim he received for his work on Moon Knight (2022).
His Moon Knight score was widely praised for its musical depth and seamless fusion of Egyptian identity with Hollywood-style storytelling.
What Is Eyes of Wakanda?
Set in the same universe as Black Panther, Eyes of Wakanda is one of the first projects in Marvel's Phase Six and consists of four animated episodes produced by Marvel Animation.
The story follows elite Wakandan warriors known as the 'Hatut Zeraze' or 'War Dogs,' tasked across different eras with retrieving lost pieces of vibranium — the powerful, mysterious metal unique to Wakanda.
Described by some as an 'African James Bond,' the series dives into Wakanda's hidden history, blending espionage, sci-fi, and high-stakes action in a thrilling animated journey.

Yara Sameh The New Avengers are coming home. Marvel's latest adventure, "Thunderbolts*", will hit video on demand on July 1 and get a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on July 29, with preorders coming soon. "Thunderbolts*" stars Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbour as Red Gaurdian, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, a ragtag team of antiheroes who are pitted against each other by Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The 4K Ultra HD digital and physical release will feature Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, as well as bonus features like deleted scenes, a gag reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and commentary by director Jake Schreier.
