MAFS bride Lucinda Light rubs shoulders with JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes as the pair step out together in the UK amid swirling romance rumours

Daily Mail28-04-2025

Married At First Sight fan favourite Lucinda Light is living her best life abroad - and she has just brushed shoulders with two of reality TV 's most talked-about stars.
The 43-year-old was all smiles as she posed for a backstage photo alongside Celebrity Big Brother UK finalists JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes, amid mounting speculation that the pair could be more than just friends.
Lucinda, who skyrocketed to fame on last year's MAFS season thanks to her infectiously positive energy and spiritual outlook, looked right at home among the British and American reality stars while filming This Morning in London.
Dressed in a bright pink jumpsuit that cinched at the waist and featured a plunging neckline, Lucinda beamed as she stood arm-in-arm with JoJo and Chris.
JoJo, 21, rocked a more edgy look in a cropped denim jacket layered over a black studded corset and matching pants.
Chris, 32, kept it casual in a cream knitted polo shirt and relaxed beige trousers.
The meeting comes just days after JoJo and Chris set tongues wagging on the UK reality show, with viewers convinced they had struck up a close bond inside the house - despite JoJo being in a relationship with Aussie influencer Kath Ebbs at the time.
Following the finale, JoJo dramatically dumped Kath at the show's afterparty, with Kath later hinting that JoJo had 'fallen in love in real time' with Chris while the cameras were rolling.
Fans have been left shocked by the unlikely connection progressing outside the house and took to X claiming it was 'not on their bingo card'.
'JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes getting together through Big brother was not on my Bingo card' one said.
'JoJo Siwa sitting in an English pub was not on my 2025 Bingo card' another agreed.
'JoJo Siwa told everyone she was a lesbian , had a girlfriend got bullied by Mickey Rourke and... is now dating Chris Hughes?' one more commented.
'Jojo and Chris, if you have found happiness then I'm happy for you, move forward, leave the trolls behind you and live your life, wish all the best to you' someone said.
Over the weekend JoJo's TikTok account liked a video of the pair dancing intimately in the Big Brother house, which was captioned: 'Why does it look like there [sic] trying not to kiss when up close. Love is love.'
JoJo's account also liked another video of the pair dancing that referenced Jack and Rose's love story on the romantic drama, Titanic.
It was captioned: 'JoJo and Chris are so giving me Jack and Rose vibes.'
It went on: 'She's the rich one who has fell [sic] in love with someone who is lower class then her and she has probably never ad this much fun in her life.
'This is definitely the closest love story to Titanic yet.'
JoJo wasn't the only star to 'like' the post, with Chris and JoJo's mother Jessalynn also said to have reacted to the video.
Since leaving the house JoJo has met Chris' friends with the Dance Moms star also 'liking' a series of flirty posts about the pair 'kissing' and their 'love story'
MailOnline has contacted JoJo's representatives for comment.
Fans keen to know what's going on with the pair should have the questions answered when JoJo and Chris face their first proper joint TV grilling on Monday morning.
The pair are set to will on This Morning to face questions about their time on the show.
ITV teased it on their Instagram on Sunday night as hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley get ready to delve into all the gossip.
Newly-single JoJo spent her first weekend out of the Celebrity Big Brother house getting a 'Sunday massage' from Chris as the pair's very close friendship continued.
In an unseen clip shared by host Will Best, 30, to Instagram JoJo, who finished in third place, said that Chris would be giving her massages for the ones he received while in the house.
She said: 'I also just want to mention I have still not received any massages back and Chris has had about 32 of them!'
To which the Love Island star replied: 'I owe her an IT band massage, I promised everyday and I think I might have said more, but you il get it'.
Before adding: 'She's going to get it Sunday'. The two are also thought to have spent time together on Saturday with a source telling The Sun that they were spotted enjoying a walk in a London park.
Meanwhile on Sunday, Kath was spotted leaving the London same hotel JoJo is staying in following their split.
According to The Sun the Aussie influencer was seen departing before posing for selfies with fans, while JoJo was spotted separately and appeared downcast as she looked at her phone.
On Saturday JoJo returned to social media and hinted at her desire to stay in the UK, following her blossoming friendship with Chris.
Her telling video came mere hours before Kath, who she has been dating since November, took to Instagram to confirm they had split at the CBB afterparty.
JoJo confided in Danny about her sexuality following her 'flirty' relationship with her co-star.
She said: 'I feel so queer. I've never - I think I've always told myself, I'm a lesbian. I think you - I think being here - I've realised I am not a lesbian, I'm queer.
'And I think that's really cool, I'm switching letters! I've dropped the L and I've gone to the Q baby! That's what I love about sexuality.'

Windrush campaigners urge the Government to save Notting Hill Carnival

The west London carnival is in jeopardy, its chairman Ian Comfort said in a letter on Wednesday, when he asked Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy to provide urgent funding to save the event. Jacqueline McKenzie, a campaigner and human rights lawyer who helped victims of the Windrush scandal, said the carnival holds 'huge national and international significance'. 'The Government needs to recognise this and act urgently to protect it,' Ms McKenzie said. In the late 1950s, Notting Hill became home to many people from the Caribbean who arrived in Britain on Windrush and accompanying ships, and the carnival was founded by pioneers of that generation. Ms McKenzie said the carnival being at risk 'adds insult to injury' for victims of the Windrush scandal. 'It should not be lost on us that these funding concerns coincide with Windrush Day on Sunday,' she said. 'To see this celebration in jeopardy whilst so many of the Windrush generation continue to fight for justice following the Home Office scandal only adds insult to injury. 'Carnival embodies the fundamental role of Black and Caribbean communities in Britain, and the Government should be upholding the Windrush legacy instead of undermining it.' The carnival attracts around two million people over the August bank holiday, and Susan Hall, leader of the Conservatives on the London Assembly, previously said the event was a 'victim of its own success' and a 'disaster waiting to happen' because of the large number of attendees. City Hall said it has been working with partners to ensure the safety of carnival-goers, which it described as 'paramount'. Professor Patrick Vernon, a cultural historian and Windrush campaigner, said: 'Notting Hill Carnival is far more than a street event — it is a vital cultural institution with both national and international significance. 'As the second-largest carnival in the world, second only to Rio de Janeiro, it underscores London's position as a leading global capital of diversity, creativity and cultural exchange.' Professor Vernon campaigned for a national Windrush Day following the 2018 scandal when it was revealed thousands of British people, mainly of Caribbean origin, were wrongly classed as illegal immigrants – with many deported while others faced difficulty securing work, accessing healthcare or housing. Jacqueline McKenzie said the carnival 'embodies the fundamental role of Black and Caribbean communities in Britain' (PA) 'The injustice faced by the Windrush Generation in recent years makes the threat to Notting Hill Carnival all the more painful,' Professor Vernon said. 'It is a celebration born of resistance, resilience, and unity – a legacy that should be upheld, not undermined. To allow this cornerstone of Black British identity to fall into jeopardy is to further betray the communities who have already given so much. 'As we approach the 70th anniversary of this extraordinary event, we are reminded that Notting Hill Carnival represents the very best of Britain: unity in diversity, creativity in adversity, and joy in community. Now more than ever, these are values worth defending.' Glenda Caesar, director of the Windrush National Organisation, also urged the Government to step in to save the event, adding: 'In the face of historical and ongoing injustices experienced by people of colour, the carnival stands not only as a celebration of resilience, heritage and identity but also as a powerful symbol of unity and inclusion. 'Supporting this event affirms the UK's commitment to embracing diversity, acknowledging its multicultural roots, and fostering a society where all communities feel seen, valued and empowered.' And industry insiders and bookmakers are taking serious notice of the new contender. Following a leak by industry insider Daniel Ritchman, it has been revealed Aaron is in talks for the role reported GBNews. Aaron is best known for his performances in The Underground Railroad, Rebel Ridge, and Disney's upcoming Mufasa: The Lion King. And rising betting odds are putting the young actor firmly in the frame for the coveted spot. Bookmakers now have Aaron gaining ground, as his odds narrow to place him alongside all the familiar contenders. Currently, Theo James leads the pack with odds of 5/2 followed by Henry Cavill at 3/1 and Jack Lowden at 4/1. While, Aaron Taylor‑Johnson, a huge favourite, has fallen to 5/1. Aaron, 34, fuelled rumours he'd bagged the role after signing a deal with Omega - the brand of watch the 007 spy wears. Omega has been supplying timepieces to the iconic literary and movie character since the release of 1995 flick, Golden Eye. For Your Eyes Only, Official Trailer The Sun told last year how Aaron had been offered the job - with insiders saying at the time Eon Productions were keen to snap him up. Despite that, still at the top is fellow Brit hunk Theo who fans are convinced will lead the race to victory. Meanwhile, Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy is a current favourite to be named as the next 007 baddie. It's also been confirmed that Bond will still be a British man despite being sold to 'woke' Hollywood streaming site Amazon. Timeline of James Bond actors Over the years there have been seven actors who have played 007. The first ever James Bond film was in 1962, and this is who has played the lead role over the years: Sean Connery - The late star was the first ever actor to play Bond, and reprised the role for seven movies. George Lazenby - The star only played Bond once, but was the youngest actor to ever play the spy. Roger Moore - The late movie star spent 12 years making seven films in the famous franchise. Timothy Dalton - The smooth actor took over from Roger Moore and appeared in The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill. Pierce Brosnan - The handsome star played Bond for four movies from 1995 to 2002. Daniel Craig - The British star was the first blonde James Bond and the sixth actor to win the role in 2005. Before giving up ownership of the popular film franchise, 007's stewards Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson insisted the spy would retain his nationality and gender. Barbara, who took over the Bond brand from company Eon Productions alongside Mr Wilson in 1995, made the arrangement before she agreed to sell the rights to Amazon in a £770million deal. Insiders have hit back at fears the streaming giant - owned by Jeff Bezos - will turn Bond 'woke'. An insider told the Mail on Sunday: 'Amazon is committed to keeping the spirit of Bond alive and that means he has to be British or from the Commonwealth - and he has to be male.' 5 Aaron Taylor-Johnson is thought to already have agreed to the Bond role Credit: Getty

Ex-England football star Andy Carroll 'is questioned twice by police on Greek party island after restaurant and hotel bust-ups with girlfriend'

Ex-England football star Andy Carroll was questioned twice by Greek police over a series of bust-ups with girlfriend Lou Teasdale while the pair holidayed in Mykonos, it has been reported. Caroll, 36, was interrogated about the arguments with his make-up artist lover in a restaurant and at their hotel on the Greek party island, The Sun on Sunday reports. Speaking about the first incident, a worker at the Nikolus Tavern told The Sun on Sunday: 'He seemed very drunk and furious with his partner. 'He was using very bad words. It was improper behaviour. The woman looked very upset.' According to the restaurant worker, cops arrived and took the former footballer aside for a chat. He was later allowed to girlfriend Lou. 'Police spoke to him. He was allowed to return, and the couple left after paying for their meal. Andy was very calm when the police arrived — he stood up and spoke to them outside the restaurant', the restaurant worker added. Just hours later, cops were called again by hotel staff following reports of damage in their room, MailOnline understands that the former England striker was taken to the police station for questioning, but he was not arrested and no further action was taken. The incident was confirmed by a hotel employee, who claimed Carroll broke the door. That night, Lou left the hotel and spent the night at Soho Roc House. MailOnline has approached Carroll and Teasdale's representatives for comment. A joint statement from the couple given to The Sun said: 'Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion. It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there. 'We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to 'look after' us. 'As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. No one was arrested and no one was charged with anything. We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.' The pair began dating last year after he separated from his TOWIE star wife Billi Mucklow last September. Carroll and Mucklow called it quits divorce after two years of turbulent marriage, the footballer confirmed last year. Andy Carroll GB Bordeaux during the French National 2 football match Girondins de Bordeaux against Saint-Pryve Saint-Hilaire at the Matmut Atlantique stadium in Bordeaux South West of France on November 9, 2024 In 2022, their wedding was almost called off when Carroll was pictured drunkenly passed out in bed with two women in Dubai on his stag do. Mucklow forgave him after one of the women insisted nothing sexual happened. Less than two years after their nuptials, the couple's marriage was over - with Carroll confirming they had started divorce proceedings after 'a hard few months for our family'. Carroll said in a statement at the time: 'Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings'. 'It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.' Carroll and Mucklow have three children together Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae and she also raises his two children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship.
