Each procedure at SkinQure is handled directly by qualified doctors, not technicians- a significant reassurance in an industry often clouded by misleading claims and unqualified operators. What sets SkinQure apart is its diagnostic first methodology, before any treatment, patients undergo a detailed, in-depth consultation, and evaluation process to ensure safety, suitability with medical analysis, ensuring that the procedure is medically justified and bringing advanced skin care customised to each case.
Dr Jangid, an alumnus of AIIMS New Delhi, brings not only technical brilliance but also a reputation for transparent care and candid consultations- something patients frequently highlight in feedback. His commitment to non-commercial medical justified treatments has shaped SkinQure's ethos and helped it stand out in Delhi's competitive skin care landscape.
"SkinQure brings elegance to meet the inner luxury," says Dr. Jangid. "Our expansion to Punjabi Bagh is a combination of that philosophy-bringing advanced dermatology within the reach, with integrity."
With this expansion, SkinQure is not only reinforcing its leadership in the realm of skin but also setting new standards for patient experience. From digital and offline consultation support to personalised treatment approach tailored to each patient's needs, the clinic offers a rare blend of medical trust and service empathy.

Dandruff or fungal infection? Doctor shares how to spot the difference
Dandruff is a common scalp woe, but surprisingly, not every flake is what it seems. Many may dismiss dandruff as just a haircare misstep, but it may also point to a more serious scalp issue, like a fungal infection. It's easy to mix them up, but by understanding the key differences, one can get the right diagnosis and treatment before the problem worsens. In an interview with HT Lifestyle, Dr BL Jangid, Dermatologist, Hair Transplant Surgeon at SkinQure Clinic, New Delhi, outlined the key differences between dandruff and fungal scalp infections. Don't dismiss particles in your hair as just dandruff, because the treatment may differ.(Shutterstock) ALSO READ: Can you get rid of dandruff permanently? Dermatologist answers Pointing out how alike they can sometimes look, he explained, "To the casual eye, dandruff looks like a dusting across the hair and shoulders, while strands catch the light and show tiny piles resting on the skin. But sometimes, dandruff can also be something else. Because dandruff and fungal infections look so alike, both itch, flake, and leave the scalp feeling uncomfortable, many people mistake one for the other. Yet knowing which problem is what really matters, because the underlying trigger can be different and the best way to treat it may change." It is vital to tell them apart, as Dr Jangid also reminded, that the treatments are different. For fungal infections, doctors prescribe antifungal medication, not just any dandruff shampoo. Dr BL Jangid simplified the differences with the help of a comprehensive guide, outlining the key distinctions along with signs that may indicate the need for a dermatologist visit. Here's the guide he shared: What is dandruff? Dandruff, in contrast to a healthy scalp, looks like a dusting across the parting and shoulders, tiny white or yellowish flakes that shed easily on the shoulders. (Shutterstock) Dandruff itself is a widespread scalp nuisance that causes loose white or light yellow flakes to drift off the head. Its roots vary. Skin that is too oily or too dry, sensitivity to shampoos or gels, and even that same Malassezia yeast living on everyone up there, which, in some people, sparks mild inflammation. So while the fungus sits on most scalps without fuss, it can provoke symptoms in the unlucky few and snow-balling flakes follow. What is a fungal scalp infection? It may itch, yet the urge tends to stay faint, stopping short of the full-body scratching seen with deeper infections. Fungal infections on the scalp, most often tinea capitis or scalp ringworm, grow when dermatophytes-small, skin-loving fungi-take hold in the skin, hair, and follicles. As the fungus spreads, the scalp can turn very red, flake or crust over, lose hair in patches, and, in severe cases, swell or fill with pus. Unlike ordinary dandruff, a fungal infection can pass from one person to another and tends to show up more in kids, although grown-ups catch it, too. Because of this, treatment usually requires prescription antifungal pills or ointments that a doctor writes, not the over-the-counter products found on a drugstore shelf. What are the key differences between dandruff and fungal scalp infections? A trained dermatologist is still the only person who can give you an official diagnosis, yet a few rough clues may point you toward the right trouble: Flake texture: Ordinary flakes feel dry and drift-free, while fungal scales are thicker, greasier, and cling harder to the skin. Ordinary flakes feel dry and drift-free, while fungal scales are thicker, greasier, and cling harder to the skin. Location and spread: Dandruff sticks almost exclusively to the scalp; a fungus may creep onto the temples, neck, or even the ears. Hair loss: Patchy bald spots show up with infection, but are rare if your scalp problem is just flakes. Patchy bald spots show up with infection, but are rare if your scalp problem is just flakes. Inflammation: Extra redness, swelling, heat, or tenderness usually signals fungus instead of plain dandruff. When to visit a doctor? Health & Wealth Summit 2025: Where Longevity Meets Legacy India's Most Transformative Wellness and Wealth Masterclass Held in Chennai
VMPL Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], June 21: In an era where health is the new wealth, India witnessed a groundbreaking convergence of visionaries, medical pioneers, longevity experts, and elite decision-makers at The Leela Palace, Chennai, for the AIWO Health & Wealth Summit 2025 on June 17. Conceived by Mr. Chinnakannan Sivasankaran, Mentor of AIWO and a globally respected thought leader in vitality and longevity sciences, the summit served as more than an event--it was a full-spectrum reset for the body, mind, and business. Crafted exclusively for India's top-tier CEOs, CXOs, founders, investors, and healthcare professionals, the summit pursued one singular mission: to redefine how India performs, leads, and lives--longer, stronger, and better. Three Curated Tracks Redefining Peak Human Potential: -Metabolic & Cardiovascular Mastery: Unlocking science-backed strategies to reverse chronic decline and boost foundational vitality. -Ageless Beauty & Anti-Aging Science: Exploring biological age reversal and innovations in cellular aesthetics. -The Billionaire's Hour: Delivering actionable insights on conscious wealth, legacy building, and elite performance psychology. Sivasankaran set the tone for the day with a powerful proclamation: "Diabetes is not destiny--it's a mathematical equation. But you can't solve it without your liver." Dr. Joy Varghese, renowned hepatologist, highlighted the hidden dangers of lifestyle diseases: "Obesity is a direct passport to fatty liver. And fatty liver is the silent epidemic." Dr. Arun Kalyanasundaram, one of Chennai's top interventional cardiologists, sharing insights that bridged cutting-edge medicine with real-world application. Beyond health, the summit ventured into emotional intelligence, conscious capitalism, and sustainable wealth creation. Dr. Kothandaraman, a prominent voice in diabetes reversal, urged a shift in medical paradigms: "The anti-inflammatory diet is no longer a trend--it's tomorrow's prescription." Mr. Kumar Vembu reframed the definition of success: His journey of wealth. A tool is as good as the person uses it. My concept of wealth evolved from having three meals in school to living bit comfortable in college to having authority in workplace to having more influence in the starting of the business carrier to being famous and so on. At last what I realised is not true money rather it is very holistic. We have to be wealthy in a balanced manner including relationship, friends, reputation, happiness and so on. "True wealth isn't just money--it's reputation, relationships, joy, and balance." In his closing address, Mr. Sivasankaran distilled decades of entrepreneurial wisdom into a single framework: "Initiative builds fortunes. Skill sustains them. Marketing defines them. Every business is born to be sold. Attach to success--let profit be the side effect." This summit was not just a conference--it was a movement. Attendees engaged directly with Mr. Sivasankaran in meaningful, personal interactions. Every session was deeply immersive, intellectually stimulating, and transformative, marking the beginning of a new era at the intersection of longevity science, inner excellence, and legacy wealth. Health & Wealth Summit 2025 called upon India's most ambitious minds to live consciously, lead purposefully, and build legacies that endure.
