Demaryius Thomas elected to Broncos Ring of Fame
The Broncos will be honoring the late Demaryius Thomas this season.
The team announced on Tuesday that Thomas has been elected to the team's Ring of Fame. The wide receiver will be the 38th inductee when he enters the group during halftime of a Week Seven game against the Giants.

Thomas spent over eight seasons with the Broncos after joining the team as a 2010 first-round pick. Thomas was a member of the Super Bowl 50 champions while in Denver and some of his teammates will be on hand for the 10th anniversary celebration of that win.
"Demaryius Thomas' election to the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame — in his first year of eligibility — is a testament to the indelible mark he left on our organization and community," team owners Greg Penner and Carrie Walton Penner said in a statement. "One of the most beloved players and greatest wide receivers in franchise history, Demaryius inspired our fans with breathtaking athleticism, record-setting performances and a joyful, infectious spirit. While we wish 'D.T.' was with us to celebrate this special moment, we look forward to honoring Demaryius alongside his Super Bowl 50 teammates during an unforgettable Alumni Weekend."
Thomas holds the Broncos' single-season receiving yard record and is second in career receiving yards in franchise history. He died in 2021 at the age of 33.

After scoring in the Super Bowl, Beckham left the game during the first half with a knee injury. The team feared he tore his ACL. Beckham's worst fear was confirmed. Since Beckham's eight-game run with the Rams, he took a season off for recovery and joined the Baltimore Ravens for the 2023 NFL season. In 14 games with the Ravens, Beckham caught 35 passes for 565 yards. He ended up scoring three touchdowns during the regular season. He failed to find the end zone in both games. Last year, Beckham looked forward to another fresh start as he joined the Miami Dolphins for the year. He started the season off on the PUP list, dealing with an injury. By October, Beckham finally made his Dolphins debut. He appeared in just nine games. After catching nine passes for 55 yards, Beckham and the Dolphins agreed to part ways. The veteran wide receiver was waived in mid-December. He hasn't been picked up since. Beckham is a long way from the player he was when he joined the Giants as their 12th overall pick in 2014 out of LSU. At the time, Beckham burst onto the scene with a 1,305-yard campaign as a rookie, scoring 12 touchdowns. He dominated secondaries throughout his first three seasons, averaging over 1,300 yards per season and totaling 35 touchdowns. During the 2017 season, Beckham played in just four games as he dealt with an ankle injury. Although he managed to cross the 1,000-yard threshold for the fourth time as a member of the Giants in 2018, New York traded Beckham to the Cleveland Browns during the 2019 offseason. Since leaving, Beckham eventually made it clear that he was still quite fond of his time with the NY Giants. Giants pitcher Sean Hjelle accused of abuse by wife, MLB investigating
The San Francisco Giants said Major League Baseball is looking into allegations of abuse made by the wife of reliever Sean Hjelle. Caroline Hjelle made a post on TikTok on Friday of her with the couple's two children with a caption that said: "When my MLB husband abandons us on Mothers Day a week after this (video was taken) once I finally found about his affairs and stopped putting up with his abuse, so I've been raising two boys alone." Hjelle said after Saturday's game that he had no comment on the allegations, adding that he and his wife are in the process of finalizing their divorce. "I feel confident in saying that I will have one eventually," he said. "I don't have an exact timeline on that. But I would like to actually meet with the people that are handling the situation with me and for me before I actually make an official statement." The Giants said in a statement Saturday that they are "aware of these serious allegations" and that MLB is handling it. Manager Bob Melvin said before Saturday's game against the Boston Red Sox that Hjelle would be available to pitch. "Obviously we're aware of it," Melvin said. "He told me about it last night. We talked to MLB. At this point, it's in their jurisdiction right now so I really can't comment on it further." Hjelle took the loss in Friday night's game against the Red Sox, allowing a tiebreaking homer to Ceddanne Rafaela in the sixth inning. Teammate says Bo Nix's ‘dawg mentality' has been apparent this offseason
Bo Nix has that dawg in him. Going into his second season as the Denver Broncos' starting quarterback, Nix has clearly grown into his role as a leader, and he's been fiery at practice, chirping back and forth with the team's defensive backs. 'I love that," safety Brandon Jones said on June 10. "I never wanted to be somewhere where a quarterback is kind of shy or to himself. I think if a quarterback can show that 'dawg' mentality, that goes a long ways for me and it keeps us battling. It keeps the competition super healthy and very competitive. I've liked what I've seen from him in that standpoint.' Nix, 25, was invited to the Pro Bowl as an alternate last season after surpassing 4,200 yards from scrimmage and scoring 34 touchdowns. He is now more comfortable going into Year 2, and it's noticeable on and off the field. 'I have, and I've seen his overall comfort level on the field," Jones said when asked if he's seen Nix step into more of a leadership role this year. "You can see he's doing a really good job of trying to diagnose the defense, which goes a super long way especially as a quarterback. "A lot of young quarterbacks kind of struggle with that early on. He's done a really good job of dissecting the defense, and figuring out what we are playing and making the right checks that he needs to make. He's definitely made a lot of strides.'
