Katie Price sends Harvey back to college early after son destroys £3k television

Daily Mirror08-06-2025

Katie Price has told her social media followers she had to send Harvey Price back to college a day early after she woke to the sound of him smashing her expensive television
Reality TV star Katie Price has revealed she has had to send son Harvey back to college early after he destroyed her television. The former glamour model took to Snapchat to share the incident which saw her oldest son "smash" the £3,000 device.
Harvey, 23, shocked his mum after his outburst left her needing a new TV for her living rom. The mum-of-five told her social media followers what had happened before informing her son of the consequences of his actions.

Uploading a video to the platform, Katie filmed Harvey, who has septo-optic dysplasia (a disorder of early brain development which has caused blindness), autism and Prader-Willi Syndrome (a rare genetic condition which can cause an excessive appetite).

She explained how she was woken up by the sound of the TV smashing at six in the morning. In the clip, Katie, 47, asked him: "What has mummy just heard?" In a calm response, Harvey said: "Smashing the TV."
She then questioned why he did what he did and he told her that it had angered him. She later told her followers that she wasn't convinced by his story, saying she didn't think anything had been playing on the screen.
Katie went on to tell Harvey: "You was going to college tomorrow to get some new meds [medication], but now when are you going? You are going now."
A despondent Harvey replied: "Oh god," before his mum explained she needed to send him back so she could get a new TV for her home. She described the situation as "sad".
Later, Harvey apologised and told the former glamour model it wouldn't happen again. However, Katie told her son: "Well you've got to go to collage now and get some meds."

The update comes after Katie celebrated her son's 23rd birthday last month. She shared a gorgeous photo of herself and her son cuddling in bed before his birthday celebrations.
Katie took to her Instagram stories on Bank Holiday Monday to share her excitement about Harvey turning another year older. The sweet upload saw the duo laying face-to-face in bed as they enjoyed a relaxing day chilling at home.

Katie shared her excitement for son's big day as she gushed: "Bank holiday cuddles before lots of celebrations tomorrow." She has been open about Harvey's growing health concerns as he tipped the scale at 30 stone.
Speaking candidly to sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show, Kate didn't hold back about the reality of their situation. 'He's just under 30st and that's huge,' she explained. 'He's on the verge of a heart attack. He won't have a long life if he carries on putting more and more weight on.'
Katie then confessed they are working closely with a medical team to try to turn his situation around.

Meghan Markle 'viewed as irrelevant' by royals amid explosive new swipe at Firm

Meghan Markle appeared to deliver a veiled dig at the Royal Family in a new podcast interview - and one royal expert has revealed how she believes the Firm would have reacted Meghan Markle has embarked on a publicity blitz as the second drop of her eagerly-awaited As Ever products were made available to fans. But it wasn't exactly the new products that raised eyebrows - it was her apparent subtle dig at the Royal Family in a bombshell new podcast interview. It came when the Duchess of Sussex was quizzed on her public image in an appearance on the Aspire by Emma Grede podcast, where she also discussed setting up her own As Ever lifestyle brand, as well as what drives her career goals. Emma asked Meghan: "If you could rewrite your public narrative from scratch, is there anything that you would do differently?" ‌ ‌ To which Meghan telling said: "Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth." The duchess gave no specifics about to whom she was referring but later talks to a 'lie' told eight years ago. Eight years ago, in 2017, former actress Meghan was dating and became engaged to the now-Duke of Sussex, and began preparing for life as a member of the royal family. Her comment about telling the truth came after Meghan had previously accused the palace of "perpetuating falsehoods" about her during her time as a working royal. But despite the seeming dig, royal expert Jennie Bond tells the Mirror that the comment will not have bothered her in-laws that much. The former BBC royal correspondent said: "I imagine they may see a passing headline about Meghan's latest exploits, but I very much doubt that any of them take much notice about what she is doing or saying. "She is someone they knew for a very brief period of time. I don't think Meghan forged a meaningful relationship with any of the royal family – except, obviously, her husband. And so I think she is viewed as irrelevant by most of the family." In the past few days, Meghan has released her second string of items for sale on the As Ever website, including new items, as well as her signature jam and flower sprinkles. ‌ It comes as she has also ramped up her social media presence on Instagram, posting ever more personal snippets of her life and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. And Jennie added: "She is now clearly carving out her own path as an influencer and would-be entrepreneur. To be successful in these fields she needs publicity. That's the name of the game. And so she is pumping out as much content as possible. "It's all about clicks and followers - which, in turn, bring money. I don't think there's even the remotest possibility that she would either want to return to life as a working royal or that she would be welcomed back. She's making her own way in life, and that's absolutely fine - good for her. "But personally I now find it laughable even to consider her as 'royal'. Hers was but a brief flirtation with a world she knew nothing about and which she very quickly decided she didn't like. I hope she's hugely successful in her new ventures. She's working hard, she deserves to do well."

'I tried Molly-Mae's summer makeup routine - one product left me mind blown'

Molly Mae has shared what's inside her makeup bag for summer, packed with the dewiest creams and peachy blushes. The entrepreneur and former Love Islander shared a candid video as she did her summer makeup look - and it seems as if she's a huge fan of popular beauty brand Refy. Refy makeup is renowned for it's creamy formulas, sunkissed blushes and levelled-up brow products, and I knew if it was good enough for Molly-Mae, I just had to try it. It's a brand that is constantly cropping up on my TikTok and Instagram with their glossy and sleek videos and with so many celebrities and influencers hailing the products, I knew it was time I tried it out. However with a naturally oily complexion, I was worried how these cream-based products would last on my skin, especially in the warm weather as I usually have to layer on my setting powder throughout the day to help my makeup last without an oily outbreaks. Molly Mae regularly shares her makeup tutorial videos, and fans have been left in a chokehold with her glowing summer skin and it's all thanks to REFY's new Summer Sculpt Collection. Her video was just a few minutes long, but she transformed into a bronzed and dewy beauty. She captioned the post: "The same makeup look for 6 years. Did I achieve a more summery look? @REFY what magic are you putting into your glosses!?" She has previously been vocal about her love for the REFY Cream Bronzer and Cream Blush for years, which are included in the bundle from Jess Hunt's beauty label that is now on sale. The Summer Sculpt Collection contains all of the products needed for your summer makeup bag and features nine pieces of skincare products to help prep the skin as well as makeup items for the finished look. It includes the dual end Duo Brush, Face Sculpt and Sculpt Primer and all items are full size with the option to select your own shades in the blusher, bronzer and lip gloss. In her video, Molly can be seen applying the Face Sculpt moisturiser onto her skin, followed by the Glow and Sculpt Primer, which is fitted with a sculpting facial roller that is in essence a gua sha to help reduce any puffiness, and stimulate blood flow. So, I did the same - and I was very impressed with how glowy my skin instantly became. The applicator of the moisturiser meant my skin had a mini massage as I applied it which was a nice sensation, however I did end up rubbing it in with my fingers in the end as I felt it hadn't properly covered my whole face. One thing I always worry about with a hydrating formula is whether or not it will sink into my skin, as I am oily sometimes it doesn't mix well with my makeup, but this wasn't the case with these two products. Molly then applied her MAC foundation, so I applied my own foundation - I opt for NARS natural radiant longwear, and then copied Molly by then applying the cream bronzer. I used the Duo brush, which is a product the influencer said she "struggles to live without" and I can see why. It seamlessly applied the Cream Bronzer in shade tan to my cheekbones, and I was a little worried at first it was a bit orange, but it blended out very well. There were no patches or clumps - something I tend to get with a powder contour or bronzer and it enhanced my cheekbones well. I then applied REFY's Cream Blush in shade Malaya, which Molly called one of her "absolute favourites" and dabbed it onto the apples of my cheeks with the other end of the brush, as well as my nose to give a natural sun-kissed look. It's clear my skin was already glowing, and a far cry from the ultra-matte look I usually opt for, but I really liked it. However it didn't stop there, as I then applied some Gloss Highlighter in the shade Topaz to the top of my cheekbones and nose, which ehanced the glow even more. I usually never go for a cream highlight, and I was absolutely stunned by how it changed my face. It gave me such a natural yet dewy finish and I feel like my makeup will never look the same now without it. I always usually sway away from any type of product that is creamy and shimmery and I am definitely now converted to a huge fan - so thank you Molly Mae. I then moved onto my brows and used the Refy Brow Pencil in Dark - this isn't included in the Summer Sculpt, but if you are after a good brow pencil I would recommend. I then finished and set my brows with the Refy Brow Sculpt which is like a gel to keep my unruly hairs in place and then picked up the Lash Sculpt lengthening mascara. This is another product Molly gushed about as she said: "It's such a good mascara it literally doesn't miss a single lash. I didn't put on much, but if I layered up they would have gone mental." The unique shape of the wand means even the smaller corner lashes are coated evenly, however I felt as if I had to go over my lashes with another of my mascaras to give a fuller lash look. But for those who prefer a more natural looking eye this would be ideal. To finish off I lined my lips with the Lip Sculpt Liner in shade Fawn and a coating of the Lip Gloss in shade Topaz. I liked the shades of both of these, however the gloss is very sticky once applied. It's safe to say I am truly obsessed with these products, and after being worried about my oily skin, it lasted all day and I didn't feel sticky or oily much to my surprise. I wore it for the whole day and only applied powder twice - which for me is a real result. I feel like I would struggle to wear this makeup with anything other than a foundation as the brozers are quite orange and would look too much without. While it is quite pricey for the full kit, it really does contain everything you need for a perfect sun-kissed look. I am now a huge fan of REFY thanks to Molly Mae, and I feel like I too look like I've just stepped off the plane from Dubai thanks to the glowy products. The Summer Sculpt Collection is worth £184, but retails for £140, which is a saving of £44 exclusively available from REFY. Alternatively, you can shop all of the products I used seperately here: Dual end Duo brush Cream Bronzer in shade tan Cream Blush in shade Malaya Gloss Highlighter in the shade Topaz Refy Brow Pencil in Dark Refy Brow Sculpt Lash Sculpt lengthening mascara Lip Sculpt Liner in shade Fawn Lip Gloss in shade Topaz

Inside Ellen DeGeneres' rustic Cotswolds home after fleeing the US

Since Ellen has fled the US, she has lived in two country homes - but the first one was far from the couple's dream home and finally the couples have found happiness in their new home... and sheep Ellen DeGeneres, 67, quietly moved to the UK after Donald Trump's re-election in 2024, ditching her $96million (£71million) California estate for the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. While Ellen and Portia originally snapped up a sprawling 43-acre farmhouse, things didn't go to plan. The luxury mansion bought as a dream escape was reportedly hit with epic flooding, and locals say nearby roads were left five feet under water. The couple are also said to have struggled with tight country roads, even needing to detour a mile and a half just to get around traffic bollards. ‌ Now, they've moved to a second property perched on higher ground in Oxfordshire and the new spot already seems like a better match - no flooding, fewer detours and as fans have seen this week, plenty of space for sheep to roam.. or sneak inside ‌ This week, we got a peek inside as Ellen shared a sweet snap of Portia photographing a rainbow from their hilltop garden. Captioning the photo, she gushed: 'My wife, a rainbow, and my wife taking a photograph of a rainbow.' She's also been showing off their growing animal family including their new sheep, who've made themselves very at home. In a recent Instagram video, four sheep were seen wandering through the couple's open-plan home, startling their tiny dog. 'They're inside?' Portia can be heard asking, to which Ellen calmly replies, 'Yeah, they're inside.' Another clip, filmed by Portia, shows one of the sheep named Bernie strolling indoors. 'Oh no, Bernie, you can't be in here,' she laughs, gently guiding her back out. Just days earlier, Ellen posted footage of the sheep barging into the chicken coop. 'That's not your food! Get out of there,' she scolded, chasing them off camera. ‌ But while the couple are embracing rural life - chickens and all. However not everything's gone unnoticed. Ellen was recently roasted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane at a star-studded charity gala, where he joked: 'She left right after the election… now she's the nicest person in France.' But not quite accurate, she's actually set up home in the English countryside. Ellen previously hit back at claims she's 'mean,' telling fans during a stand-up show: 'I can be demanding and tough… but I'm not mean.' Despite the storms, the pair seem to be settling into village life with their new £15 million hilltop home offering sweeping views, a sustainable drainage system, and hopefully fewer surprises.
