MURRAY COUNTY, Ga. - A multi-agency narcotics investigation in Murray County led to the arrest of two men and the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs, cash, and a firearm, authorities said on Wednesday.

The Murray County Sheriff's Office said Eric Hefner of Dalton, Georgia, and Jonathan Powell of Knoxville, Tennessee, were taken into custody on June 10 following an extended investigation by the agency's Narcotics Division.

Authorities said Powell also had active arrest warrants out of Knox County, Tennessee.
