Five decadent Easter chocolate recipes

Five decadent Easter chocolate recipes

Telegraph15-04-2025

These days Easter traditions are mostly about chocolate, and I can only imagine what manufacturers go through to produce both top-notch and, well, not-so-great eggs. I guess the quality of the chocolate isn't always a top priority.
But that doesn't mean us grown-ups shouldn't treat ourselves to some delicious puddings and snacks using really decent chocolate.
The high-street hot chocolate shop Knoops has nailed the art of introducing both kids and adults to different strengths of cacao. My daughter is fast becoming quite the chocolate connoisseur, gradually working her way up their extensive menu. It's safe to say she's well on her way to aficionado status.

If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Boots is our go-to shopping destination for all things beauty and health supplements, of course. But in recent times, the leading health and beauty retailer has upped the ante with its limited edition boxes. From its Wellness Box, Easter hamper, to the Premium Hair Beauty Edit, and Mother's Day bundle, Boots has released a variety of expertly-curated bundles to suit your needs. The latest addition is the Festival Edit Beauty Bag, which is perfectly timed with Glastonbury Festival just weeks away. The beauty (pardon the pun) about the Boots boxes is they retail for much less than what the contents inside is worth. Take the Festival Edit Beauty Bag, it fetches £45 but contains £161.34 worth of products inside. This 13-piece edit has been expertly curated to include haircare, bodycare, skincare and make-up cosmetics to see you from day to night and for days on end. Big brands including Luna Daily, Kylie Cosmetics, Biore, Milk Makeup and Too Faced are included in the bundle. BUY NOW FOR £45 (Worth £161.34) The 13-piece edit covers all bases for those heading to a festival this summer, as it features a variety of haircare, skincare, SPF, bodycare, make-up cosmetics and hygiene products (IYKYK). Among the 13 products are nine full size items, which is a rare treat. The Boots Festival Edit Beauty Bag includes all the essentials to see you through the muddiest of festivals when showers are not accessible. The products are from leading beauty brands, including Milk Makeup, Luna Daily, Too Faced, Kylie Cosmetics and many more. Some of the well thought out products included are Luna Daily The Everywhere Spray to Wipe, which we all know will be the most used product in a festival. The bundle also features Skin + Me Daily Moisturiser with SPF 50, Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50, Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tint, and the viral Sachau Lip Liner. Other key beauty products when it comes to travelling and festivals are dry shampoo and fragrance, thankfully this bundle includes Monday Haircare Original Dry Shampoo and Sol De Janeiro's Cheirosa 68 Perfume Mist. The set also features a variety of make-up cosmetics, including Kylie Cosmetics Kylash Volume Mascara, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Deluxe, Too Faced Kissing Jelly Gloss and The Beauty Crop Dewy Bounce Setting Mist to hold your make-up look for hours on end, whatever the weather. More Trending The bundle also includes an additional set of Eylure false lashes, which could be the Pre-Glued Cluster Lashes Natural or Eylure Volume & Curl Lashes Clusters No. 9, both of which come in a cluster of 30 lashes. You don't have to worry about losing your beauty kit either as it is housed in a metallic drawstring bag, which makes it easy to access and pack away when not in use. Like always, the Boots beauty bundles are limited edition so when they sell out they're gone for good. So it goes without saying this kit is hot property for festival-goers, and we urge you to shop it quickly before it's too late. The top also comes in black FRINGE BENEFITS I've found the perfect summer top from M&S, and I'm even more excited now I can finally shop there online again IT can be heard to find a versatile top to style up for day or night without resorting to the same old T-shirt. So it's no wonder there's a new option from Marks & Spencer that has fashion fans all excited. The £35 option comes in cream or black, and features a "classic round neckline" and button up back. But it's the detail on the hem that really ups the wow factor - a gorgeous fringe trim. "How cute is this top from Marks & Spencer?" Irene captioned her Instagram Reel. Advertisement In the video, she teamed the cream top with a pair of wide-legged cream trousers, metallic sandals and a straw beach-style bag. She added some cute jewellery and wore her hair in loose, beachy waves. And other people were quick to add to Irene's praise of the top. "Love this!" one wrote. Advertisement As another agreed: "It's truly cute!" "Fringe trims give this elegant top a fun, free-spirited twist," M&S said of the Collection top on their website. Shoppers run for summer's 'wow factor' denim jacket in M&S, it's set to go viral "The textured detailing adds movement and flair, perfect for lifting everyday outfits." Shoppers haven't been able to nab anything from M&S online for over a month, following a damaging cyber attack over Easter weekend in April. Advertisement Personal data of customers, which may have included names, email addresses, dates of birth and postal addresses, was taken in the attack - after which M&S halted online orders. But now the outlet is once again accepting online orders on certain products - with "more of our fashion, home and beauty products will be added every day", John Lyttle, M&S managing director of clothing, home and beauty, said. In a statement posted on social media, he added: "We will resume deliveries to Northern Ireland and Click and Collect in the coming weeks. "Thank you sincerely for your support and for shopping with us." Advertisement Luckily enough, the fringe top is one of the products available to buy from the M&S website now. However, due to demand, delivery will take around 10 days.
