'We did the classic test, and we both went into the bathroom to look.'
And then, the moment: 'We saw the word pregnant. That was just a huge moment, to actually see the word pregnant on the test.'
Lauren described the scene with warmth and tears, 'Seeing the word pregnant, it was amazing,' she said. 'We just looked at each other. I fell to my knees and cried.'
The couple revealed they had been trying for four years, so this was a long time coming, a milestone they had hoped for, celebrated, and dreamed about.
Cameron had even gotten emotional on their podcast The Love Seat last year, praising Lauren's strength: 'When I saw what you were going through, in terms of taking the medications, doing the daily shots ... you did it for me, you showed me a new level of love that I'd never seen before.'
Lauren added by saying, 'It has affected us as a couple because it has made us feel more connected ... It's actually made us stronger.'
Lauren also addressed the pressures many couples face when asked the ever-sensitive question, 'When are you going to have a baby?'
She explained on Tamron Hall in 2022 that such questions can be tough.
'It's definitely tough at times because it is a personal question. We're grateful that everyone's so excited, but trying to get pregnant is not easy for everyone.'
But wait, there's more baby news!
Ollie Sutherland from "Love Is Blind UK" and AD Smith from "Love Is Blind US" have announced they are expecting their first child. This news comes just over two months after their engagement was confirmed.
Their adorable Instagram announcement featured the couple dancing in a meadow to Monica's 'Angel of Mine', with Sutherland lovingly cradling Smith's baby bump before sharing sonogram photos and a kiss.
Smith captioned the post, 'How you changed my world, you'll never know.'

Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus dazzle Paris with golden duet
Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus set Paris alight with their surprise duet during the Cowboy Carter tour. On the night of 19 June, fans at Stade de France witnessed music history. Beyoncé invited Miley Cyrus to join her on stage. The two icons performed II Most Wanted , their Grammy-winning hit from Beyoncé's 2024 Cowboy Carter album. The crowd erupted as it was the first time the duo sang the song live together, according to Vogue . Beyoncé told the audience, 'I love you all so much. I'm incredibly thrilled because I wanted to do something truly special for you. Let's hear it for Ms Miley Cyrus—I'm so thankful to share the stage with you'. The energy in the stadium soared. Both stars embraced the night's theme: gold, glitz, and glamour. Beyoncé wore a fringed golden bodysuit with a scoop neck, sparkling baubles, and a bold belt. She paired it with heeled cowboy boots. Miley Cyrus matched her in a crystal-encrusted catsuit and stiletto boots. The message was clear: go bold or go home. Miley Cyrus shared her gratitude on Instagram after the show. She wrote, '@beyonce to be beside such a humble, gracious, legendary DIVA was a dream come true. Thank you for the opportunity to perform in Paris together & sing our song about friendship. To have learned from you and loved you my whole life, and then stand together in matching gold looks, is more than I could have imagined. As the finale to this trip supporting Something Beautiful , to close on something as beautiful as a stadium full of people singing II Most Wanted with us was the ultimate fireworks. Thank you, B. I'll be your shotgun rider for life. Big gratitude to the Cowboy Carter tour crew, you all were incredible for making this happen. Forever and always'. Beyoncé responded with warmth. On stage, she said, 'I want you to give it up for the icon—I'm the biggest fan. I love you, I'm so grateful to watch you and to sing with you, Miss Miley Cyrus'. Their mutual respect was clear. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, also praised the moment, saying, 'I adored this segment of the show tonight!' The Cowboy Carter tour has become a fashion spectacle. Designers like Mugler, Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, and Schiaparelli have all contributed to Beyoncé's wardrobe. Her looks blend cowgirl flair with high fashion. Even her daughter, Blue Ivy, has joined the stage in dazzling rodeo-inspired outfits. The Grammy-winning duet, the fashion, and the friendship between these two superstars resonate globally. Local changemakers bring big-screen joy to Alexandra
For a few hours on Friday evening, the township of Alexandra shed its usual shadows of hardship, poverty, and crime, and came alive with community spirit. Just near the intersection of Thoko Ngoma and Far Eastbank streets, children gathered for a movie night hosted by The Eye Pictures 1920, in partnership with the Stepping Tennis Foundation. Read more: The enduring legacy of Kings Cinema The event saw little ones treated to the hilarity of Despicable Me 4, an experience curated with care. 'I played it because it's funny. I have watched the movie, it made me laugh, and I wished to enjoy it with others,' said Siyabonga 'Makwera' Twala, of The Eye Pictures 1920. It was the fourth screening in this initiative by The Eye Pictures 1920, but the first one in collaboration with the Stepping Tennis Foundation. Twala's inspiration traces back to a cherished memory from 2010, when he and his friends would watch cartoons together on a big screen at a park in Eastbank. 'Coming back from school we would go there and watch Cartoon Network. We first saw Phineas and Ferb there.' It was this nostalgia that sparked his mission to recreate those moments, offering the children of Alexandra their own version of that joy. Stepping Tennis member Sibusiso 'Scuba Ray' Shongwe resonated with the vision. 'Siyabonga wanted to give back to the less privileged. It is not everyone who knows this cinema setting. So, my friend wanted to bring it to the township.' Shongwe, who is a long-time supporter of the initiative, added that since he works with children, he also wanted to give them something magical. In a township often overlooked because of its challenges, a projector, and a bit of heart from two local changemakers, turned an ordinary street into a place of unity and laughter. Nandi Madida celebrates 100 episodes of Africa Now Radio and reflects on her journey in music and motherhood
Since 2023, Nandi has led a sonic tour across Africa, interviewing the biggest and best acts, and shining a spotlight on the superstars making waves both on the continent and around the world. Image: Supplied/Rageinc Productions For the past two years, Nandi Madida has hosted Africa Now Radio on Apple Music 1, and on June 20, she reached the 100th episode mark. Apple Music celebrated the milestone by surprising the 'Black Is King' actress with an intimate dinner. Instead of a normal dinner with her Apple Music bosses, Madida was greeted with her husband Zakes Bantwini's face and select media. "It feels like such an honour," beamed after receiving a 100-rose bouquet in celebration. Previous Africa Now Radio hosts include Nigerian DJ and musician DJ Cuppy, Nigerian presenter Dadaboy Ehiz and South African presenter Luthando 'LootLove' Shosha. "To be honest, the time has flown by because it's been so much fun. I've simply been a voice for what has already been happening. This is Africa's natural trajectory,' she shared in our interview. 'It's seamless because the musicians are so incredibly talented at what they do. I just get to represent this amazing movement." Next Stay Close ✕ The Africa to the World wave, she says, is no longer a dream; it's a reality. "It's happening. The world is looking to us, this beautiful continent, the cradle of humankind and music. 'Of course, the world had to come back here, to see how we do this music thing. It's amazing that Africa is now the benchmark.' On Africa Now Radio, Madida has interviewed some of Africa's biggest stars, Afrobeats star Oxlade, South African amapiano DJ and producer DBN Gogo and Nigerian rapper ODUMODUBLVCK to name a few. Reflecting on the state of Afro music today, she urged young creatives to think beyond trends and commercial appeal. "Afro music is its entity, it deserves to be viewed as more than just another commercial genre or podcast soundtrack. 'My whole career has been about that. I've always gravitated towards creating new ways, paving new roads for the next generation. I want people, especially young ones, to know they can do things differently and still succeed. 'There's a quote I love: 'Who was she and what did she do? She was herself and she did it all.' That's what I want to stand for. I've enjoyed a unique, beautiful career simply by trusting my gut and following my own path." These days, Madida's life is filled with motherhood, podcasting, and intentional living. But fans have noticed a quiet pause in her music and acting projects. Her husband, Grammy award-winning musician Zakes Bantwini, was quick to correct her when she spoke of her music career in the past tense. 'I've been so honoured to do music, to act. My husband often reminds me, 'No, no, you're still doing music, even if it's in-house.' 'It's great to have a partner who supports me fully, especially in a society where we're still unlearning certain patriarchal ideas. He believes in me doing it all.' Her husband is her biggest cheerleader. In his toast to his wife, Zakes Bantwini reflected on seeing his wife lose out on deals because she would not change her views on certain issues, such as her natural hair. @thislove_k Nandi Madida was celebrated by Apple Music for her 100th episode of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music 1.
