
Dhamar water project launched, providing clean water to thousands
Dhamar - Saba:
A rehabilitated water project, "al-Balad, al-Dawahir, and Sufyan," was inaugurated in al-Sawad area in al-Hadda district of Dhamar province bringing clean water to approximately 3,000 residents.
The $57,000 project, funded by UNICEF through the Emergency Response Development Project (ECD), involved the installation of a solar-powered pumping unit, new pipes, a control room, and the restoration of a water tank.
Eng. Mohammed al-Qawsi, Director of the Rural Water Projects Authority, highlighted the project's significance and urged proper management for sustainability.
Eng. Fadl al-Harbi, the District Director, praised the collaborative efforts of the Rural Water Authority, the Water and Environmental Sanitation Emergency Unit, UNICEF, and local citizens, who contributed to restarting the project after years of inactivity.

Dhamar - Saba: A meeting in Dhamar province, chaired by Governor Mohammed Al-Bukhaity, discussed on Saturday the local authority's annual achievement reports for the year 1446 AH and plans for the upcoming year, as well as arrangements for distributing fruit tree seedlings across the province's districts. Al-Bukhaity highlighted the need to implement plans for distributing 300,000 fruit tree seedlings across various districts of the governorate. These seedlings were produced in the Huran nursery through cooperation between the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund and the agricultural sector, with support from the Executive Unit for Managing and Financing Agricultural Projects and Initiatives. He stressed that the distribution should align with suitable agricultural environments, ensuring that each district receives the appropriate types of seedlings. The governor also affirmed the local authority's commitment to implementing the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership, aimed at expanding green cover, boosting agricultural production, and raising community awareness about the importance of planting fruitful and economically beneficial trees. The meeting further reviewed field visit reports conducted by the local authority and the Executive Office of the Murabiteen (defense forces) on the fronts of dignity and heroism during Eid al-Adha. Wheat harvest season begins in Ibb's Yarim district
Ibb – Saba: Bani Shaiban Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society on Wednesday launched the wheat harvest in "Qa' al-Haql" area of Yarim District for the winter season 1446 AH. At the inauguration, Yarim District Directors Mohammed al-Khalid and Mohammed al-Darwani praised Bani Shaiban Society's efforts in motivating farmers and contributing to self-sufficiency. They highlighted this as an achievement in enhancing food security, reducing foreign wheat imports, and promoting self-reliance, especially given the country's current challenges from ongoing aggression and blockade. The association's secretary, Ali Saleh, stated that the society aimed to cultivate 128 hectares of wheat, along with broad beans, soybeans, peas, and corn. Taiz officials conduct Eid visits to frontline fighters
Taiz – Saba: Various officials and social figures in Taiz province on Sunday conducted Eid al-Adha visits to fighters on several fronts within the province. Shura Council member Abdulrahman al-Jarzi, General Mobilization Officer Mohammed al-Khalidi, and Maqbana District Director Abdulrahman Ibrahim inspected fighters on "Saqam" front, exchanging Eid greetings and discussing military victories and Yemen's support for Palestinians. Social Unit Officials Hamis al-Habari and Rakan al-Naqeeb, along with other notables, visited fighters in the 35th Armored Brigade, presenting them with a convoy of sheep, cows, and food supplies. Additionally, Jabal Habashi District Director Mohammed al-Mansoub and Deputy Head of General Mobilization Mohammed al-Jaradi visited defenders on al-Ain and al-Sarahim fronts. Similarly, Doran Anas District Director and Saber al-Mawadem's General Mobilization Head Abdullah al-Junaid inspected fighters on al-Ashaab front. These visitors presented gifts and conveyed leadership congratulations, expressing pride in sharing Eid with the "men of the homeland."
