During an interview with paparazzi, Viral Bhayani's team, Shubhangi spoke about Piyush's demise. She said, "Main yahi kahungi ke bahot hi unfortunate tha (I will just say that it was very unfortunate). But, I think it is because of addiction. Doctors ne bahot pehle hi bol diya tha ke agar woh apna lifestyle change nahi karenge, toh yeh ho sakta hai (Doctors had told him earlier that if he doesn't change his lifestyle this might happen).
So, I knew that it (death) is coming, but it will happen this early, I had no idea."
She broke down in tears as she remembered him, and said, "I want to remember him for all good things. I loved him, and I might never forget about that. Achchi yadoon mein main yaad rakhna chahti hooon Piyush ko aur main aaj bhi yahi bolti ho ki Ashi (Shubhangi-Piyush's daughter) ko bless karte rehna. Hum dono ko guide karte rehna, and that's it (I want to hold on to the good memories of Piyush.
Even today, I say—keep blessing Ashi, keep guiding both of us, and that's all I ask).
"
Shubhangi and Piyush tied the knot in 2003 and shared 22 years of marriage. Although they had been separated since 2022, their divorce was legally finalized just two months prior to Piyush's untimely demise. Their divorce was officially finalized on February 5 this year.
Shubhangi has featured in several well-known television shows, including Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kasturi, Chidiya Ghar, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. She stepped into the role of Angoori Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain in 2016, taking over from Shilpa Shinde.

Exclusive - Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress Shubhangi Atre: The industry will continue to change, it's a bit scary

Actress Shubhangi Atre, who is known for her show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, says that the industry has grown by leaps and bounds, and the modes of entertainment are going to continue to evolve. She adds that this can get a little overwhelming at times. 'The industry has already changed a lot, especially after COVID. The work culture and budgeting have changed. And in the next five years, with artificial intelligence growing, I feel things will change even more. It's a bit scary honestly. But I still believe that content is king. If you create good content, it will always work. Today people are very stressed in life, and entertainment gives them a little break from that. Music and entertainment offer relief, so we should focus on creating good content,' she says. Ask her what changes she wants to see, and she says, 'The content on TV is still a bit regressive, and that bothers me. We can definitely make more progressive shows. Second, I feel TV actors don't get the respect they deserve. People often don't take TV actors seriously. There's a perception that TV actors are overexposed or not as good. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? The mindset towards TV actors needs to change.' Meanwhile, she says that the cut-throat nature of the industry is one thing that will not change. 'Competition is very real. Sometimes people don't want to do certain roles, or they leave projects. That's their personal choice, and I respect that. But if someone is more committed, more disciplined, or more eager to work, then yes, they will get opportunities. That's what we call survival of the fittest. I just believe don't snatch work from someone, but if they don't want to do it and you can, there's no harm. Life goes on. Nothing is irreplaceable. And stardom is very temporary. We are just like passing faces on a screen. What truly matters is how well we perform and how much people connect with us,' she says. Exclusive - Shivani Gosain: Working birthdays are the best

Television actress Shivani Gosain, who is currently seen in Rishton Se Badi Gauri, will be spending her birthday this year on set — and she wouldn't have it any other way. 'I feel working birthdays are the best,' she shares, reflecting on the significance of the day and how her celebration style is rooted more in simplicity and gratitude than in grand parties. 'I'm not someone who celebrates much or throws big parties,' Shivani says. 'For me, it's all about spending quality time with my loved ones — my parents, my daughter, my sisters, and my sister's two little girls. I celebrate for them and with them.' Having been part of notable shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay (as Varsha Bhabhi), Rang Badalti Odhani, Love You Zindagi, Saraswatichandra, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, Naagin 5, Pratigya 2, and making memorable cameos in popular series like Anupamaa and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Shivani has carved out a space for herself as a reliable, versatile actor in the television industry. Recalling her most memorable birthday, Shivani gets emotional. 'Two years back, I went to Kedarnath especially for my birthday. I was at the shrine on the 21st, and that has been my best and most blessed birthday till today.' However, this year marks a poignant shift in her life — it will be her first birthday without her beloved mother. 'Every year, my birthday started with my mother's call or message, or she used to be with me. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Mensualités: Bonne nouvelle pour les propriétaires étouffés par les crédits Bons plans propriétaires En savoir plus Undo I lost her nine months back, and this year I will miss her the most,' Shivani says with a heavy heart. 'I've celebrated my birthday on set a few times in the past, and I truly feel working birthdays are the best. This year is going to be one more blessed birthday — I'll be on set again.' As she steps into another year, her wish remains beautifully simple and heartfelt: 'I just want to be blessed with a stress-free, healthy, peaceful, and satisfying working life — till my last breath. Shubhangi Atre on how yoga helped her overcome emotional challenges post divorce; says ‘It helped me process it and find my strength again'

On the occasion of International Yoga Day , popular television actress Shubhangi Atre—best known for her role as Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain—opened up about her long-standing connection with yoga. For her, yoga has evolved from just a fitness routine into something far more personal and transformative. 'Yoga has been an integral part of my life for years now,' she shared. 'What started as a workout session quickly became a wellness practice for me.' As someone who juggles a demanding career and personal responsibilities, Shubhangi revealed how yoga became her anchor in difficult times. 'Yoga has helped me maintain the balance well, find calm in chaos, and be at peace even in the most stressful situations,' she said. Talking about her routine, she practices yoga at least three times a week, often more when her schedule allows. 'It's not about pushing my limits, but about listening to what my body and mind need on that day. I begin with a bit of pranayama, followed by a few asanas. Surya Namaskar is something I enjoy because it works on the entire body,' she explained. She always ends her sessions with meditation. 'Even if it's just for five minutes, it helps me check in with myself,' she added. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 40세 미만이라면 이 매혹적인 게임을 하지 마세요 경복의 바다 플레이하기 Undo 'On some days yoga is for the body, and on some it's for my mind.' 'A few years ago, during my divorce, I went through a very emotionally draining time. But yoga kept me going. That one hour on the mat became like therapy. It didn't take the pain away, but it helped me process it and find my strength again,' she shared. For Shubhangi Atre, yoga isn't just movement—it's healing.
