Rosey Edeh brings years of experience as a news and entertainment anchor to CTV Morning Live. Since moving to Ottawa and becoming co-host of CTV Morning Live in September of 2020, Rosey has immersed herself in the local art, sport, music and tech scene. Rosey is a three time Olympian, five time Canadian champion and member of the Quebec sport hall of fame. Rosey is the former Canadian record holder in the 400m hurdles and she currently holds the Quebec record in the 400m hurdles. She continues to give back to the sport she excelled in by serving as a national apprentice sprint coach. You will find Rosey encouraging girls and women to participate in all levels of sport at Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group's (OSEG) Sports Day The Girls Way and Girls On The Run events as well as hosting panel discussions at the Ottawa Art Gallery. Rosey is regularly involved in conversations with researchers and engineers immersed in the development of autonomous vehicles and artificial general intelligence (AGI). She enjoys conversations with tech professionals that analyse ways in which technology will positively impact society. A freelance writer, Rosey has penned articles for By Blacks, I Run, Canadian Running Magazine and the Canadian Olympic Committee. Rosey Edeh is the founder of Micha Muse Media. In 2017, she wrote, produced and directed the award-winning documentary, Oliver Jones: Mind Hands Heart. Rosey is the creator and managing producer of CTV Morning Live Ottawa's podcast which celebrated one year of uploads to iHeartRadio in May of 2025. As a veteran broadcaster you may have seen her work on CNN, MSNBC, ET Canada and Global News at Noon (Toronto).

Social Sharing Canada paid for failing to finish out a game Saturday, conceding a 94th-minute equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Curacao in Group B play at the CONCACAF Gold Cup in Houston. Substitute Jeremy Antonisse's stoppage-time goal came after Canada lost possession near midfield. The ball went to Antonisse, whose low shot deflected off sliding defender Zorhan Bassong over goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair. "We had warnings just to tell us to be a bit more careful, but they kept pushing and got the equalizer," said Canada captain Jonathan David. "So obviously it's frustrating to get a tie like that but we have to keep moving forward." It had looked like Nathan Saliba's early goal was going to be enough for a win that would have assured No. 30 Canada of a place in the tournament quarterfinals. But with four points from two games, Canada is still in the driving seat in the pool ahead of its Group B finale Tuesday against No. 81 El Salvador in Houston. Canada thumped No. 75 Honduras 6-0 in its opener Tuesday in Vancouver, while No. 90 Curacao played El Salvador to a scoreless draw in San Jose, Calif. A Curacao attempted clearance went to Saliba whose well-timed shot from just inside the penalty box beat a diving goalkeeper Eloy Room. The 21-year-old midfielder, who has six Canada caps, has two career goals in 68 regular-season games for CF Montreal. Canada had more of the ball in the first half with 55 per cent possession but could not turn that into more goals. And, at times, Curacao threatened on the counterattack. Canadian substitute Ali Ahmed lasted just 14 minutes after coming on in the 56th minute, rolling his ankle in a scything tackle that earned Floranus a yellow card. Saturday's contest marks the end of Marsch's two-game ban arising from a red card during the CONCACAF Nations League third-place game in March. But the coach remains in the spotlight, facing more disciplinary action initiated by CONCACAF from Canada's opening game on Tuesday in Vancouver. CONCACAF said its Disciplinary Committee is reviewing whether Canada and Marsch did not follow regulations involving suspended officials and whether offensive language was used toward CONCACAF match officials. Miller was joined in the backline by Bassong, Joel Waterman and Niko Sigur, who came into the game with 21 caps between the three of them. Canada was without centre back Derek Cornelius, who is with the team but dealing with a lower-body injury. Moise Bombito, Marsch's usual other starter at centre back, is recovering from wrist surgery. Fellow defender Alistair Johnston, who arrived in camp late from his honeymoon, came on in the 70th minute.

Jeremiah Masoli was 25-for-44, passing for 281 yards with one major and two interceptions in his first start for the Lions (1-2). The 36-year-old American quarterback replaced Nathan Rourke as starter after Rourke suffered a core injury in B.C.'s 34-20 loss to the Blue Bombers last week. Winnipeg (2-0) was also without one of its stars in Saturday's rematch as Brady Oliveira sat out with a shoulder injury he picked up against the Lions. Collaros wasted no time in finding his form Saturday. Just over seven minutes into the game, the veteran escaped the pocket under pressure and hurled a rainbow into the far corner of the end zone where Dalton Schoen jumped up to make the grab. The Lions responded with their own extended series, but couldn't break into the red zone and settled for a 22-yard field goal from Sean Whyte early in the second quarter. Sergio Castillo matched the score minutes later, booting a 55-yard kick through the uprights to boost Winnipeg's lead to 10-3. B.C.'s offence struggled to gain traction through the rest of the half. Midway through the second quarter, Masoli — who signed with the Lions as a free agent in February — tossed a harried pass to running back James Butler, who fumbled the ball. Parker was there to pick it up and sprint 57 yards the other way for the Bombers' second major of the night. Castillo hit the convert and Winnipeg took a 17-3 lead. The Lions got a glimmer of hope later in the frame when defensive back Cristophe Beaulieu picked off Collaros' deep throw to Nic Demski and darted up the sidelines 40 yards. Castillo upped Winnipeg's lead to 20-3 early in the third quarter with a 38-yard field goal. Whyte replied minutes later, booting a 43-yard kick for B.C. The Lions began stringing plays together early in the fourth quarter and found themselves with a first yard deep in Bombers territory. Masoli sailed a pass to Ayden Eberhardt deep in the end zone, only to see it picked off by Winnipeg's Evan Holm. On the next play, Collaros chucked a pass way up field to Keric Wheatfall for a 48-yard gain. The Bombers' continued to build and Collaros capped the drive with a five-yard dish to offensive lineman Tui Eli in the end zone. Another convert from Castillo gave Winnipeg a 27-6 advantage. The Lions refused to go quietly, though. Masoli and his team steadily worked their way up the field and inside Winnipeg's 10-yard line, where they were stymied by the Bombers defence and turned the ball over on downs with less than five minutes to go. Another interception gave B.C. a final prime opportunity late in the fourth quarter. Robert Carter Jr. nabbed Collaros' pass inside Winnipeg territory and the Lions capitalized, with Masoli firing a seven-yard dart to Jevon Cottoy just over the goal line. The QB then handed off to Butler, who rushed in for a two-point convert that sealed the score at 27-14. The B.C. Lions visit the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday, June 28.
