Couples Therapy is a documentary series that follows real couples through months of couple's therapy with a highly regarded therapist. The series is filmed almost entirely in the therapist's office where we watch a diverse group of couples dive into their long standing conflicts, explore their personal histories and seek connection and new compassion for each other. In Couples Therapy Australia , we are taken through multiple sessions of therapy with psychotherapist Marryam Chehelnabi. The premise of Couples Therapy is that most couples suffer in isolation, rarely sharing the truth of their struggle with others. In fact, studies have shown that couples that seek therapy stay miserable for six years on average before they reach out for help. This show allows audiences the opportunity to watch people in conflict move through differences and find fresh avenues of connection. At its core, this series is purely documentary. Situations are not contrived; the stakes and tension are not manufactured. These are real, relatable couples in crisis, doing the actual work of therapy. Although the therapist's office is custom built for the production, it is unlike any other sets in that production is entirely invisible to the subjects. The couples entering the therapist space never see a camera, or a light stand. The show is rigorously designed so the therapist and the couples forget about the cameras and expose their true selves to each other and to us. Couples Therapy Australia seasons 1-2 premieres Thursday 5 June on SBS On Demand. Also, Couples Therapy season 4, part two is now available to stream at SBS On Demand. Episodes air weekly at SBS VICELAND every Monday at 10.45pm. In season 2 of Bosch: Legacy , former homicide detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) moves on to a new chapter as a private investigator. Tenacious as always, nothing can shake his strong personal code that drives him to seek justice for murder victims. Brilliant defence attorney and one-time enemy of Bosch, Honey 'Money' Chandler (Mimi Rogers), continues to display her mastery of the legal system, holding the powers-that-be accountable. She is smart, ruthless and shrewdly determined. Maddie (Madison Lintz), daughter of Bosch, charts her own course as a legacy in law enforcement. Wanting to follow in her father's footsteps, she's smart, independent and knows how to deal with scrutiny. Bosch: Legacy season 2 premieres Thursday 12 June on SBS On Demand. In 1922, long before she became the world's best-selling author, Agatha Christie embarked upon an epic world tour. Now, 100 years later, Poirot actor Sir David Suchet is following in her footsteps. On her incredible adventure, Agatha journeyed across what was then the British Empire, visiting Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, while also taking a holiday in Hawaii. Now, armed with his trusty camera to capture a unique record of his travels, Sir David will see what she saw, discovering how this journey influenced her life and her writing, and revealing new sides to her character. As well as delving into Agatha's past, Sir David will explore the fascinating histories of the countries she visited. He'll find out how things have changed in the hundred years since her trip and will see how different communities are grappling with and transforming the complex legacies of colonialism. Travels with Agatha Christie & David Suchet premieres Saturday 14 June on SBS and SBS On Demand. Episodes air weekly at SBS starting Saturday 14 June at 7.30pm.

AFLW star Tilly Lucas-Rodd ‘so happy' after gender-affirming top surgery

Don't miss out on the headlines from AFLW. Followed categories will be added to My News. AFLW star Tilly Lucas-Rodd has revealed they are 'so happy' and feel so much like themselves after having gender-affirming top surgery during the off-season. The 29-year-old Hawthorn star is the league's first current player to undergo the surgery - which removes breast tissue in a similar way to a double mastectomy - and said they feel so much more comfortable. 'People often have asked me, 'How do I feel now that I've had it' - post-surgery, seeing myself,' Lucas-Rodd, who identifies as non-binary, told ABC Sport. '... for me, it was like, 'this is how I've always looked when I saw myself' … This is what I've always thought and always seen internally.' AFLW star Tilly Lucas-Rodd says they are 'so happy' after undergoing gender affirming top surgery. Picture: Instagram/tillylr Prior to the surgery, Lucas-Rodd was taping or binding their chest and wearing a guernsey multiple sizes too large in order to reduce dysphoria. This practice however, was causing issues, sometimes restricting breathing and movement, and creating back pain. Since returning to training, however, Lucas-Rodd said they are relishing the freedom of not needing a sports bra or chest bindings. 'Going out onto the track in our training guernseys or our singlets, I just feel so, so happy and so just like me,' they said. 'I had huge discomfort around my chest, huge dysphoria. It didn't match up with what I felt internally I should look like.' The halfback came out publicly as non-binary in 2023, saying at the time that they 'don't really identify strongly as my assigned gender at birth, which is female.' 'I don't really feel strongly that I fit into that label as a female, and at the same time I don't feel like I'm a male, either. I guess I'm in between that,' they said in a video shared on the Hawthorn website. 'So for me, the label 'non-binary' feels most comfortable about how I identify in terms of my gender.' Lucas-Rodd said they feel more comfortable and like themselves since returning to training. Picture: Instagram/tillylr The Hawthorn player identifies as non-binary. Picture: Instagram/tillylr Two other AFLW players, Carlton star Darcy Vescio and former Gold Coast player Tori Groves-Little, also identify as non-binary, and two former players have undergone gender-reaffirming top surgery since leaving the league. Lucas-Rodd spoke to their Hawthorn teammates about the surgery when returning to training and said they were met with 'such love and acceptance'. While opening themselves up to public commentary by sharing their story has been nerve-racking, Lucas-Rodd said they hope to help others in a similar position. 'It's also to show gender diverse and trans people that there is a place for them in sport,' they said. 'Coming out publicly with top surgery, people will say and do what they want, but I'm trying to show people that no matter what gender you are, no matter how you express that, no matter anything about you, that you belong in sport and you belong in sport at a professional and elite level. 'That's a big thing for me … being like regardless of your gender and how you express that, there is this place for you in sport.' Since sharing their ABC Sport interview on Instagram, Lucas-Rodd has recieved many messages of support, including from Aussie musician G Flip who said, 'Hells yeah Tilly,' and Wentworth star Zoe Terakes, who shared a series of strong arm and love heart emojis. Lizzo reveals secret to her weight loss and finally sets the record straight on Ozempic use

It's about damn time. Lizzo has spoken about her weight loss journey - and clarified her Ozempic use - months after clapping back at rumours about the drug. 'I've tried everything,' the singer, 37, said on Trisha Paytas' Just Trish podcast on Thursday, per Page Six. The Grammy winner explained however that she abandoned the semaglutide, which has not been approved for use for weight loss in Australia, early into her journey. 'Ozempic works because you eat less food, yeah? So if you eat right, it makes you feel full,' she said. 'But if you can just do that on your own and get mind over matter, it's the same thing.' Ozempic is also associated with a number of side-effects including most commonly gastrointestinal disorders like nausea, diarrhoea and vomiting, in a way that doctor-approved changes to diet and exercise are not. Lizzo revealed that she saw the best results when she ditched her vegan diet. 'When I was vegan, I was consuming a lot of fake meats, I was eating a lot of bread, I was eating a lot of rice and I had to eat a lot of it to stay full,' she recalled. 'When I started actually eating whole foods and eating, like, beef and chicken and fish, I was actually full and not expanding my stomach by putting a lot of fake things in there that [weren't] actually filling me up,' the songwriter continued. She went on to defend those who use weightloss drugs. 'It's not easy,' Lizzo insisted. 'It's a drug to help somebody with something they're struggling with.' She added that 'telling someone they're cheating' is a 'way of being fatphobic.' According to the TGA in Australia, 'Ozempic has been included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. This means that the medicine has been evaluated by the TGA for its safety, quality and efficacy for that indication only.' Lizzo made headlines in September 2024 for hitting back at an Instagram hater questioning whether she was taking the type II diabetes drug. 'Whyyyy [sic] do u follow me?' she asked at the time. The following year, Lizzo explained that she had, instead, applied 'a calorie deficit' and cut 'sugary stuff' from her diet. 'Everybody's body is different,' she reminded her social media followers in April. 'Find out what works for you.'
