The post Commanders' Brian Robinson Jr.'s 'hell when I'm well' mic drop is a bar appeared first on ClutchPoints.
The Washington Commanders are placing their backfield faith in a familiar face this season as Brian Robinson buzz continues to grow. Now entering the final year of his rookie contract, Robinson used his platform at minicamp to deliver a confident message that quickly made the rounds on social media.

NBC4 Sports' JP Finlay captured the moment and shared it on the NBC4 Sports X account, formerly known as Twitter, showing Robinson speaking with conviction about his mindset entering a critical 2025 with the following caption.
'HELL WHEN I'M WELL: RB Brian Robinson Jr. on final year of his rookie deal and what he's been working on the last few months'
'The biggest thing for me is just, you know, being available, you know, just being on the field, you know, I think, you know, when I'm healthy and, you know, well, you know, I'm hell when I'm well, for sure'
The viral quote reflects a larger shift in focus for the former Alabama product. After dealing with injuries in the past, including a 2022 shooting and hamstring issues, he managed to post a career-high 799 rushing yards and eight touchdowns last season. His durability will be a major factor as Robinson's contract year begins to take shape.

With minimal changes to the Commanders running back room, Robinson is the clear RB1 heading into training camp. The team didn't make any major veteran additions in free agency and waited until the seventh round to draft another back. That vote of confidence puts Robinson in a position to carry the load once again.
Robinson's performance could play a key role in Jayden Daniels' continued rise and the overall success of the Commanders' offense, which is expected to lean on a steady run game to complement their emerging star under center. Daniels is in his second year, hoping to build off a stellar Rookie of the Year season in which he led Washington all the way to the NFC Championship Game before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. If Robinson can stay healthy and deliver, his fantasy stock — and his value entering free agency in 2026 — could see a major boost.

NY Giants Veteran Revealed Russell Wilson's Unique Move

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Heading into their first season without Daniel Jones under center for Week 1 in some time, the New York Giants have a unique setup at the quarterback position. At the top is the multi-time Pro Bowler Russell Wilson. Behind him is the former first-rounder out of Florida State, Jameis Winston. Then, the Giants have one of their homegrown backups in Tommy DeVito, along with the first-round rookie, Jaxson Dart. There are a lot of recognizable names in the quarterback room this season, but Wilson is expected to lead the charge when the Giants make it to Week 1. Some might suggest that Wilson doesn't have much to prove at this stage of his career. He's accomplished most things that not every quarterback can say they have. However, Winston recently revealed to the media that's not the case. Not the case for Wilson—not the case for him. "I believe that we all have something to prove to ourselves," Winston told reporters. The backup quarterback then shared a unique tidbit about Wilson's slightly superstitious approach to his first season with the New York Giants. Jameis Winston shares that Russell Wilson's locker is the same locker that he had when he won the Super Bowl with the Seahawks at MetLife Stadium. (via @SNYGiants) — SleeperGiants (@SleeperGiants) June 17, 2025 "The first story that Russ shared with me was his locker position," Winston explained. "He's sitting in the same locker that he sat in when he won the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. I think that gives some type of context of what it means to him. Every year, especially at the quarterback position, there's only one of us. We have to approach that with a type of integrity, and the type of responsibility that no one else has." Wilson is searching for that spark that he had in Seattle some time ago. During his run with the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson was one of the top signal-callers in the game, playing on one of the most dominant teams in the league. While he only has one Super Bowl victory on his resume, it was an impressive accomplishment at MetLife Stadium back in February 2014, as the Seahawks dominated the Denver Broncos 43-8. Russell Wilson #3 of the Pittsburgh Steelers reacts as he stretches prior to an NFL Football game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on December 21, 2024 in Baltimore, Maryland. Russell Wilson #3 of the Pittsburgh Steelers reacts as he stretches prior to an NFL Football game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on December 21, 2024 in Baltimore, completed 18 of his 25 passes for 206 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also rushed for 26 yards on three carries. Since Wilson parted ways with the Seahawks in 2021, he's had a hard time finding that same spark again. His run with the Denver Broncos was forgettable. After two seasons, Wilson went to the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he started 11 games, including one playoff outing, his first in four years. The Giants likely view the 36-year-old as a one-year rental, but they are invested in him as a win-now presence. Wilson certainly seems motivated to prove he can still win at a high level. Perhaps, the locker location helps him find that Seattle spark. For more New York Giants and NFL news, head over to Newsweek Sports.

Cowboys Star Utters Bold Statement on Jayden Daniels

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Last season, one of the biggest storylines in the NFC was the instant breakout from Jayden Daniels. Following an impressive rookie campaign with the Washington Commanders, the young QB continues to receive praise from his peers. After being taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 draft, the Commanders wasted no time putting Daniels in a starting role. This proved to be a smart decision, as he quickly altered the trajectory of the franchise. Along with throwing for over 3,500 yards and 25 touchdowns, Daniels led Washington all the way to the NFC Championship game. Coming off such a strong first year in the NFL, the hype around Daniels has quickly skyrocketed. Among the most recent people to give him his flowers is a star-level talent within his own division. Jayden Daniels #5 of the Washington Commanders looks to throw the ball during the third quarter against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Divisional Playoff at Ford Field on January 18, 2025 in Detroit, Michigan. Jayden Daniels #5 of the Washington Commanders looks to throw the ball during the third quarter against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Divisional Playoff at Ford Field on January 18, 2025 in Detroit, read: Commanders QB Jayden Daniels Named Top Standout Among his Peers Earlier this week, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs linked up with viral streamer N3on. During his appearance, he was posed with the question of naming his top five quarterbacks in the NFL right now. Diggs started off by being a loyal teammate and giving Dak Prescott a shoutout. He then went on to put the Commanders' rising star in the same breath as talents like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. "I'm a go Dak," Diggs said. "Aaron Rodgers, Jayden Daniels, no order. Mahomes, Lamar." #Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs ranks Jayden Daniels in his top 5 current QBs in the NFL (🎥:@N3onOnYT) — brandon (@JayDanielsMVP) June 18, 2025 Also read: NFL Writer Cites 'Overreaction' to Commanders Star's Holdout Diggs giving Jones a shoutout on this list is a testament to Daniels' perception around the NFL. The Cowboys star is far from the first person to put him in this discussion, as many people in and around the game feel similarly. It's also worth noting that Diggs put Daniels ahead of reigning league MVP Josh Allen. In his rookie season, Daniels built a strong foundation to use as a springboard for the rest of his career. He is going to need this positive momentum, as the pressure will be on for him now. Seeing how well he carried the Commanders in year one, Daniels enters the 2025 campaign with a high bar to match. Along with trying to meet the loft expectations of those around the game, Daniels will also be attempting to avoid the infamous "sophomore slump." He quickly turned the Commanders into a dark horse contender in the NFC. The last thing the franchise wants to see now is their emerging star take a step backwards in his second season. As he prepares to follow up his stellar debut, Daniels will strive to continue cementing himself as a top talent at his position.
