In It Together festival which was held in Margam this weekend had those attending on the edge of their seats as they had several surprise mystery guests appearing across the duration of the event. The first was the English singer and songwriter Example.
The second mystery guest was a little more local, as Ruth Jones popped on the main stage to say hello on Sunday, May 25. Although, she didn't just come on to say "what's occurin", she also came on stage to introduce mystery guest, The Greatest Showman star Keala Settle.
There was one more surprise in store for Gavin and Stacey fans, as Ruth was also reunited with Neil the Baby who had performed at the festival a day earlier. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter .
After a countdown, the host said "Port Talbot make some noise for Ruth Jones, followed by the Gavin and Stacey theme song, Run by Stephen Fretwell.
Inevitably the audience erupted in screams as the writer and actress took to the stage. To which she then shouted "Oh, what's occurin", in true Nessa style.
She then went on to say: "I don't really speak like that you know, listen it's so fantastic to be here. I'm literally five or six miles away from my hometown of Porthcawl."

She then asked if anyone in the crowd was from Porthcawl, before giving them a wave and saying "alright?"
It was then time for her on screen son, Oscar Hartland who plays Neil the Baby, to join her. Ruth then said, "my son", as he gave her a big hug. The actress then asked if he was performing, to which he replied that he had the day previously.
Oscar performed his debut show alongside his band on Saturday, May 26 at In It Together's Wonky Lizard stage. Since appearing on Gavin and Stacey from a young age, the actor has turned to music as fans of the show may be aware of after his rendition of The Beatles' Blackbird in the show's final episode.
She then said: "Isn't he amazing? He takes after his mother he does."

Ruth later addressed 'the fishing trip', saying: "I don't know, I wasn't there."
The host replied: "I was hoping today, we would have found out."
In It Together posted on Instagram: "WOW! Thank you to the incredible Ruth Jones for creating one of the best moments in In It Together history! "

Fans shared their excitement about Ruth's appearance as well as the reunion on social media. One person even said: "We just needed Rob Brydon too with a little bit of 'Islands in the Stream' and the place would have erupted."

The Magic Gardens are like a hidden oasis tucked between skyscrapers. The lush greenery and vibrant flowers make for a beautiful escape from the bustle of the surrounding city (and also make for a great Instagram backdrop!) This colourful hangout is built for partying and spectacular skyline views. After making my way up a series of stairs (you forget that to visit a rooftop bar, you have to actually climb to the rooftop) I walked out onto a lawn decorated with picnic benches and bold colours. This spot definitely has a party vibe, with booming beats blasting through the speakers and a DJ booth right in the centre. Advertisement It feels like a mix of city bar and Ibiza beach club, but weirdly it works. The rooftop has DJ performances from 6pm Thursday through Saturday, playing the best in house and garage. They also do a bottomless brunch on Saturdays that tends to sell out. 90 blissful minutes of bottomless Prosecco, Aperol, mimosas and beers with burgers and fries for £40 per person. Advertisement Given the location, views and vibe, I think it's well worth it. Circe's Rooftop This gorgeous rooftop bar felt less like London and more like Mykonos. After walking up a staircase full of painted clouds and mythical goddess quotes, I stepped out into a world of peachy pink beachfront bliss. With its palm trees, parasols and beach hut bar, why go for a girl's trip to Marbella when you can sip and sunbathe in Waterloo? Advertisement This beach club style rooftop bar is just minutes' walk from a busy station. But once I arrived, I instantly forgot about where I really was. The small plates are 3 for 2 if you're there before 5pm, and range from spiced kofta lamb skewers to chilli tiger prawns. I could honestly spend all day snacking, sipping and pretending I'm away on holiday. I also couldn't help but notice the espresso martini chocolate flavoured ice cream on the puddings, served with Hotel Chocolat chocolate sauce. It has a much more urban and industrial feel, an effortlessly cool vibe, and is also the cheapest of the lot. By night, the rooftop is buzzing with groups sharing jugs of cheap drinks and enjoying food from the grill. Drinks like alcoholic slushies are served in takeaway style cups at wooden benches for that no-frills urban feel. It all felt a bit too cool and concrete for me, but the £5 drinks stole my heart. Advertisement You start by choosing your food in the downstairs market hall, where various venders offer a range of affordable eats. Burgers from Black Bear smelled divine, and the ever-popular eggslut was serving their famous breakfast style sandwiches. Countdown star Susie Dent to bring new tour to Wrexham
The Dictionary Corner favourite from Channel 4's Countdown will bring her latest show, Word Perfect, to Wrexham's William Aston Hall on Saturday, August 23. The show promises a lively exploration of the quirks, histories, and hidden stories behind everyday words and phrases. Ms Dent said: "The English language will never stop surprising and delighting me: it is as wayward as it is majestic, while the dictionary is as full of magic, drama and adventure as you will find anywhere. "I can't wait to walk down some more of its secret alleyways with the Word Perfect audiences, and to hear their own questions about our curious mother tongue." Zak Starkey has teamed up with Paul McCartney and John Lennon 's sons as they work on 'The Beatles kids' after he was sacked from The Who again. The son of Ringo Starr, 59, was fired from the band last month, just one month after he was sacked then quickly reinstated. He has now revealed that he is working on new music with Sean Lennon and James McCartney and they have collaborated on a song. Speaking in a new interview, Zak admitted that the idea was something he had avoided for fears of being 'judged forever.' He told The Sun: 'I thought it was a daft idea. But I've got to know James well over the last decade and Sean over the last five years and we have become great friends. 'Their music is great. I had a track called Rip Off and as we were communicating a lot I asked them to contribute.' Zak added: 'We were nervous in case there was no chemistry but there was loads and it sounded great. James' voice powerful it nearly blew me off my seat.' Sean, 48, is the second child of the late icon John, while James, 47, is Paul's only son and youngest child, who he welcomed with his late ex-wife Linda Eastman. In May, The Who guitarist Pete Townshend took to Instagram to announce that Zak, drummer since 1996, was no longer part of the band. But Zak quickly took to his own social media to claim that his departure was not a mutual decision and that he was fired from the band. His sacking comes just months ahead of the legendary bands farewell tour across North America and Pete revealed Scott Devours will replace him on drums. The statement from Pete read: 'After many years of great work on drums from Zak the time has come for a change. A poignant time. Zak has lots of new projects in hand and I wish him the best.' In a second post, Pete and Roger Daltrey added: 'The Who are heading for retirement, whereas Zak is 20yrs younger and has a great future with his new band and other exciting projects. 'He needs to devote all his energy into making it all a success. We both wish him all the luck in the world.' They continued: 'Scott Devours – Who fans will know him from Roger's solo shows – will be replacing Zak. We hope all our fans will welcome him. Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey'. 'I love the who and would never had quit. So I didn't make the statement ….quitting The Who would also have let down the countless amazing people who stood up for me (thank you all a million times over and more) thru the weeks of mayhem of me going 'in an out an in an out an in an out like a bleedin squeezebox x. 'To clarify "other projects" yes I do have other projects and always have. The Who have been sporadic or minimalist in touring most years apart from a two extensive tours in 2000 and 2006/7.' Zak continued to list his other previous projects before adding: 'Releasing singles but not touring cos members are so busy. None of this has ever interfered with The Who and was never a problem for them. 'The lie is or would have been that I quit The Who- I didn't. I love the who and everyone in it.' Zak again took to his Instagram account to share that his version of events had been contradicted yet again after a phone call with The Who singer-guitarist Roger. Zak said Roger told him he hadn't actually been fired and instead 'retired to work on his own projects'.
