On Tuesday, the actor decided to give back some of the love and posted a thank you message on his Instagram.

Tom Cruise took to his Instagram handle and thanked everyone from studios to movie theatre employees and the audience; of course, he began his message by saying, 'This weekend was one for the history books.' He went on to say, 'Congratulations to every filmmaker, every artist, every crew member, and every person who works at the studios. To every theatre and every employee who helps bring these stories to the audience, thank you.'

He then shifted his focus to the studios behind the film and thanked them for their support.
