As reported, the four-membered K-pop girl group, comprising Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rose, is returning with new music after what feels like ages. It will be nearly three years after their second album, Born Pink, when the group will release a new project.
On Thursday, June 19, JTBC Entertainment News quoted industry insiders who stated that BLACKPINK is all set to make a full group comeback in July this year. After reports went rife, YG Entertainment released a statement, keeping the details of the group's upcoming project under wraps. They said, 'We will share details through an official promotion at a later date."
Earlier, BLACKPINK's agency confirmed that the girl group began shooting for their upcoming music video on June 6. The shoot reportedly took place in South Korea under the supervision of a renowned director, whose name was not revealed. With this, the excitement around BLACKPINK's return as a group has increased manifold.
Meanwhile, back in February, YG Entertainment surprised BLINKs by announcing BLACKPINK's new world tour. This tour marks the group's first major comeback since their record-breaking Born Pink World Tour (2022-2023), which sold over 1.8 million tickets across 66 shows. The agency has confirmed that the tour will feature new music, never-before-seen performances, and immersive stage production.
The upcoming tour, titled Deadline World Tour, is their first all-stadium tour, which is beginning on July 5 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea. BLACKPINK will have several shows in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia, before concluding their much-awaited tour in January 2026, at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, China.

FYI, the globally renowned K-pop girl group went on a hiatus following their Born Pink World Tour in September 2023. The four members kept group activities on hold and focused on their solo music as well as acting projects. All the BLACKPINK members have now released their individual albums since the hiatus. While Rose released Rosie in December last year, Lisa dropped her first studio album, Alter Ego, in February 2025. Jisoo released Amortage, and Jennie dropped Ruby earlier this year.

After nearly three years without a full-group release, BLACKPINK is finally returning to the stage with a brand-new song debuting on July 5. YG Entertainment confirmed the news on June 23, revealing that Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa will perform their unreleased track during the first night of their DEADLINE World Tour at Goyang Sports Complex. For BLINKs around the world, the wait has felt endless, but this announcement finally signals the start of a new chapter. BLACKPINK to release new song during world tour. July 5 just doesn't mark the beginning of a new tour, but it's also a symbolic reunion between BLACKPINK and their fans. According to YG, the members chose to premiere the new song at Goyang to mark the beginning of this era and reconnect with their fandom. The concert will be the group's first major performance together since wrapping up their BORN PINK tour in 2023. With emotions running high and expectations even higher, July 5 is poised to be a milestone moment. BLACKPINK will unveil their comeback song for the first time at the 'DEADLINE' tour:— 'There were many discussions about how to release this new song. We decided to debut it first at the Goyang concert, which holds significance as the starting point of the DEADLINE tour, where… 'We decided to unveil it first at the Goyang concert, which marks the beginning of the world tour and a symbolic moment to reconnect with the fandom,' YG said in a statement, as per Korea JoongAng Daily. What we know about the new song (so far) While the title, concept, and full release details remain under wraps, YG has confirmed that BLACKPINK began filming the music video on June 6. According to media reports, it's being directed by a renowned global filmmaker, raising anticipation for a high-impact comeback. Insiders suggest that the group is aiming for an early July release, though whether it will be a standalone single or part of a larger project is still unclear. This marks BLACKPINK's first group release since Shut Down in September 2022, which was part of their Born Pink album. Since then, the members have focused on solo projects, acting gigs, and brand endorsements, leaving fans hungry for new music from all four together. The DEADLINE World Tour: massive in scale The Goyang concert will set the tone for what's being described as BLACKPINK's most ambitious tour to date. The DEADLINE tour spans 31 cities across three continents, with stops at global landmarks like SoFi Stadium (Los Angeles), Wembley Stadium (London), Stade de France (Paris), Tokyo Dome, and Citi Field (New York). The final show is scheduled for January 25, 2026, in Hong Kong, giving fans several months of electrifying performances to look forward to. Fans speak out: excitement, but also frustration While the comeback news has sparked joy, it also comes with a hint of frustration. Fans have been demanding updates for months, especially as other K-pop groups, including BTS members, have continued to stay active through solo music and public appearances. On social media, BLINKs have expressed concern over the lack of promotion for the comeback, calling out YG for its silence and sparse teaser content. this is such a terrible marketing strategy by YG, blackpink will have 0 fans after this era if they keep treating them like this so we waited all these years for new music just for us to get one song that won't even be on streaming for god knows how long so we can only listen thru fancams or buying a concert ticket YG needs to be serious for a min and use better and more cohesive marketing strategies bc atp idk what are they trying to do, it seems like they don't even care anymore 😭 i knew the blackpink comeback (or whatever you want to call it) was going to be shit from the butt but they somehow managed to make it worse LMFAO Some fans are also wondering whether this release will lead to a full album or just a digital single. Regardless, the desire for consistency and better communication from the label is clear. BLACKPINK's new era incoming With the music video already wrapped and the Goyang stage set for the grand debut, all signs hint at a new era for BLACKPINK, one shaped by Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa each rising as solo powerhouses. As they launch the DEADLINE World Tour with a fresh track, this comeback could mark a defining moment for the group's next chapter. Did BLACKPINK's Lisa secretly marry rumored boyfriend Frédéric Arnault? Viral post has BLINKs spiraling with theories
BLACKPINK's Lisa is once again at the center of a whirlwind of dating rumors. Only this time, it's not just about romance but alleged marriage. The global K-pop star, who has been linked to luxury brand heir Frédéric Arnault for more than a year, is now trending online. Recently, fans connected her to a blind item suggesting a secret wedding. Despite the numerous public sightings of Lisa and Arnault together in the past, the two have never officially confirmed their relationship. However, the rumor mill has been reignited thanks to a viral online post and a flurry of fan theories. Blind Item sparks frenzy The gossip storm kicked off with a post on Crazy Days & Nights. It's a well-known Hollywood blind item site that often shares insider stories without directly naming celebrities. The June 19 entry hinted that 'a member of the two-color group' had gotten married in secret. The post offered no direct clues. However, internet sleuths and fans familiar with BLACKPINK's name and theme colors quickly began to speculate that the phrase referred to the YG Entertainment girl group. Among the four members, Lisa, who is already rumored to be dating Arnault, became the primary subject of online discussions. Fans fuel theory Adding fuel to the fire, a TikTok account known for decoding celebrity gossip blind items uploaded a video analyzing the post and claiming it pointed to Lisa. The creator explained how the 'two-color group' description matched BLACKPINK. They connected the dots to Lisa's long-rumored relationship with the LVMH heir. The video rapidly gained traction, surpassing 200,000 views in just a few days. It featured a compilation of Lisa and Frédéric Arnault's past appearances together. They suggested that the couple may have quietly tied the knot away from the public eye. Mixed fan reactions The viral post drew a wave of reactions online. Some fans expressed surprise, while others voiced support for Lisa's right to keep her personal life private. Others urged caution. They pointed out that no official confirmation has been made and that blind items are often unreliable or based on loose insider gossip. No statement yet from either party As of now, neither Lisa nor Frédéric Arnault has issued any public statement about their rumored relationship, let alone marriage. YG Entertainment, which usually avoids commenting on artists' personal lives unless absolutely necessary, has remained silent. Though the latest buzz adds another layer to the long-standing speculation surrounding Lisa's private life, fans will have to wait for any real confirmation. Until then, the rumors remain just that: rumors.
