Twitch bans Kai Cenat's friend RaKai after his reckless driving stream goes viral on social media
(Image via X/@clippedszn)
Popular Twitch streamer and close friend of Kai Cenat,
RaKai
(aka 2xRaKai), has just been hit with a Twitch ban, again. This time, it's not because of something said online, but because of something
he did IRL
...and
it's got the internet talking big time. Here's everything about the incident.
Who Is RaKai?
If you're not already familiar, RaKai (aka 2xRaKai) is a rising streamer who's been gaining attention through collabs with big creators like Kai Cenat. He's young (just 16), high-energy, and until this week, very much active on Twitch. But on June 16, 2025, Twitch said 'nope' and took his channel down—for the second time.
What Actually Went Down?
On June 15, 2025, a clip started making rounds online showing 16-year-old RaKai driving a car recklessly and, yes, streaming it live.
In the clip, he's seen texting while driving, taking his hands off the wheel, and basically just treating traffic laws like side quests.
The video blew up on X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, and everywhere in between. People were shocked, not just by the driving, but by the fact that this was all happening
on stream
.
What Got Him Banned?
In a word? Recklessness. Just a day before the ban, RaKai went viral for livestreaming himself driving while looking at his phone.

And no, that's not even the worst part. At one point, he straight-up took his hands off the steering wheel on stream.
The car swerved, the internet freaked out, and Twitch clearly wasn't amused. The clip started circulating on X (Twitter) and Reddit faster than you can say 'TOS violation.'
Rakai Receives Backlash For Reckless Driving Underage | Should Rakai Be Banned From Twitch ?
Twitch Was Already Watching Him
Before the actual ban hammer dropped, RaKai had already hinted that something was up.
During a 38-second clip from his June 16 stream, he told his chat that Twitch was 'investigating' his case. He seemed unsure if a ban was coming but was trying to stay optimistic, dropping lines like:
'I thought I was over, chat… but W Twitch. W Twitch rep.'
Spoiler alert
: It wasn't a W. A few hours later, boom—his Twitch channel became
'temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.'
So What Now?
RaKai hasn't publicly responded to the ban (as of now), and Twitch hasn't said how long the suspension will last. It could be days. It could be a month. It could be permanent.
But one thing's clear—streaming while being irresponsible IRL is a fast track to getting clipped. Twitch isn't playing when it comes to unsafe behavior that spills off-screen.
Whether you're a fan of RaKai or not, this incident is a
reminder
that clout-chasing while putting lives at risk (especially your own) is not the flex some think it is. Keep the energy on stream. Not on the highway.

BTS' RM caught smoking in Paris? Netizens claim idol ‘wants to go viral so bad', fans fire back in defense
BTS' Kim Namjoon, better known as RM, is under social media scrutiny after a short video clip began circulating online. It allegedly shows him smoking on a public sidewalk in Paris. The video, originally posted by a user on X (formerly Twitter), quickly spread across platforms. Netizens debate whether the man seen in the footage was indeed the globally recognized K-pop idol. According to online chatter, the person in the video was spotted on a busy Parisian street casually smoking alone. The figure's face was mostly obscured and the video quality was far from clear. However, many online users began speculating that the individual resembled RM. Accusations of disrespect Amid the buzz, a subset of viewers accused the individual in the video, believed by some to be RM, of behaving inappropriately. One particular claim that gained traction alleged that the man had smoked in close proximity to another person. Some users speculated he may have blown smoke in their direction. This behavior was deemed disrespectful by several commenters. Critics labeled the behavior inconsiderate and began raising questions about the idol's public manners. Some threads on social media condemned the alleged incident. They state that celebrities should be more mindful of their surroundings, especially when in public spaces abroad. Fans rush to RM's defense ARMYs, BTS' loyal fanbase, swiftly countered the criticism. Many fans watched the video closely and argued there was no clear evidence that RM was smoking in anyone's face. In fact, some claimed there was no one standing directly in front of the man at all, challenging the initial accusations. Others emphasized that, even if it were RM in the video, he is a legal adult capable of making his own choices. Fans reminded critics that smoking outdoors is not illegal in Paris. They added that public figures should not be expected to live under constant surveillance or be held to unrealistic standards. Privacy concerns Beyond the smoking debate, many ARMYs turned their focus toward the broader issue of celebrity privacy. The resurfacing of blurry, unsolicited photos and videos of idols during their downtime has long been a sensitive topic in K-pop fandoms. The latest incident reignited discussions about boundaries and the ethics of sharing unconfirmed, candid footage of stars. BTS members complete military service: What's next? While the online community debates the authenticity and ethics surrounding the video, BTS fans also have reason to celebrate. As of this month, all seven members of BTS have officially completed their mandatory military service. RM, who enlisted in late 2023, is also now discharged. The group's military chapter has now come to a close, prompting fans to eagerly anticipate what comes next. HYBE has not yet released any official announcements about group activities, comeback schedules, or solo releases. But speculation is already building across fan forums and music platforms.

Taking to Reddit, a person shared a post titled, 'Guts.' (Also Read | Sardaar Ji 3 trailer: Pak actor Hania Aamir joins Diljit Dosanjh in film set for overseas release; fans react. A person wrote, "Never spoke a word during the war…now we know why…I liked him, but the opinion is now changing highly." "Honestly, I don't think Diljit holds any affinity and love towards India, so I really don't expect him to be pro-India, but I hope now at least the border makers will remove him from a film based on the life of our army," read a comment. "You can't expect anything better from Diljit. He has always been very clear about his ideologies," commented a Reddit user. "Never liked him, never will. Disgusted by him," wrote another person. "So all the allegations against him being a separatist are kind of true, I feel. What a shameless person he is," read another comment. A comment read, 'Not a Bollywood film so likely won't face much scrutiny.' A person wrote, 'Well they weren't gonna cut someone out who had clearly such a big part.' About India-Pakistan tensions On April 22, a terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, which killed 26 people. In response, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor—a targeted military action against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan—on May 7. After days of rising tensions, both nations agreed to cease all firing and military operations. Last year, Hania had attended Diljit's show at the O2 Arena in London. He had even invited her on stage and interacted with her. About Sardaarji 3 In the film, Hania and Diljit's characters are ghost hunters tasked with removing a spirit from a UK mansion. Sharing the video on Instagram, Diljit captioned it, "Sardaar Ji 3 Releasing 27th June OVERSEAS Only. FADH LAO BHOOND DIAN LATTAN." The film also stars Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, Sapna Pabbi and others in prominent roles. Directed by Amar Hundal, the film is slated to hit the screens only overseas on June 27.
