Priyanka Chopra 's father Dr Ashok Chopra passed away in 2013. But just in a recent interview, the actress had expressed how one can never really get over the death of a parent. Priyanka was extremely close to her father and also has a tattoo on her hand which said 'Daddy's Lil Girl'. In a recent interview, Priyanka's mom Dr Madhu Chopra opened up on how the family grieved his demise and the actress took her mom and brother on a vacation to get over it. Madhu Chopra said in an interview with Debina Bonnerjee on her YouTube channel, "We were just immersed into each other. I had no life outside of my family. Priyanka would just go to work and come back. We were a very tight unit." She added, "All three of us were grieving in our own ways. We weren't sharing anything. For months, we didn't talk about how we felt. We wouldn't cry in front of each other. I held back thinking my kids wouldn't be able to handle it. And they wouldn't cry either, because they didn't want to upset me."
