Squid Game actor Lee Byung-hun reveals how his son called him out for being 'bad' in the show: 'Why are you so mean?'
On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Squid Game star Lee Byung-hun had the audience in stitches as he shared how his ten-year-old son reacted to finding out his dad plays the terrifying Frontman in the hit Netflix series. 'They're not supposed to watch Squid Game,' Byung-hun said with a grin. 'I have a ten-year-old son and an 18-month-old daughter. I think my son heard from a friend at school. One day, he looked really sad and asked me, 'Why are you so mean?'' Completely confused, Byung-hun replied, 'What?' Jimmy Fallon burst into laughter, jumping in to act out the moment: 'You know I'm an actor. I love you. I'm a good dad!' Byung-hun continued, 'I said, 'Why?' and he said, 'You killed a lot of people.'' It turns out, his son was especially upset about a scene involving T.O.P, the actor who played Thanos in 'Squid Game 2'. 'My son was very close to him,' Byung-hun explained. 'He asked me, 'Why did you hit him so bad, Dad?'' Trying to explain, Byung-hun told his son, 'I'm an actor,' but admitted, 'I think he doesn't understand 100 per cent.' Jimmy nodded and laughed, 'No, good for him. He should be a 10-year-old!' The laughs kept coming as Byung-hun shared a hilarious memory from when his son was just three years old. He had shown him a clip from GI Joe on YouTube, where Byung-hun plays a mysterious and deadly character. His son stared wide-eyed and asked, 'Are you really…?' To which Byung-hun whispered, 'Shhh, no one knows. Even your mom doesn't know.' The interrogation continued as the curious toddler asked, 'Where is the weapon?' Keeping the story alive, Byung-hun replied, 'It's in America, in some storage.' Not satisfied, his son asked, 'Why didn't you bring it back?' With perfect comic timing, Byung-hun answered, 'If I see some strong enemy, I'll bring it back.' The audience erupted in laughter, clearly loving the actor's playful parenting. For the unversed, Lee Byung-hun played the role of Storm Shadow in the 2013 film 'GI Joe: Retaliation'.

Watch: Priyanka Chopra Jonas calls daughter Malti 'a light of our lives'
June 20 (UPI) -- Priyanka Chopra Jonas says her daughter Malti is "a light of our lives." The actress, 42, discussed Malti, her 3-year-old daughter with her husband, singer Nick Jonas, when she stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday to discuss her new movie Heads of State. "She's precocious. She is funny. She's a little comedian and she knows she's funny, so that's even better," Chopra Jonas said. "But, yeah, she's just such a light of our lives right now. This is an amazing season for us." Malti was born in 2022 via surrogate. Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, 32, married in 2018. "It's lovely not to have found your person," Chopra Jonas previously said on the Jennifer Hudson Show. Chopra Jonas also shared on Tonight that she "had a great time" filming Heads of State opposite Idris Elba and John Cena. In the film, Elba plays British prime minister Sam Clarke, while Cena portrays Will Derringer, an actor and the U.S. president. Chopra stars as Noel Bisset, the M16 agent who rescues the pair after their plane is attacked. Actor Priyanka Chopra recently shared a behind-the-scenes moment from the shoot of her upcoming action-comedy film 'Heads of State'. Chopra shared that she lost a part of her eyebrow and narrowly avoided a serious injury to her eye while filming a rain-soaked action an interview with Jimmy Fallon on 'The Tonight Show', Priyanka Chopra recalled how a camera mishap led to a chunk of her eyebrow being accidentally ripped off during a stunt camera has a matte box, and I was supposed to roll on the floor and fall, and it was raining. And the camera was supposed to come close to me. So the camera operator came in a little bit closer–I came in a little bit closer, and it took out a chunk of my eyebrow. It could have been my eye, so I was very grateful that it wasn't. I just put surgical glue on there, stuck it. Finished my day, because I did not want to come back and shoot in the rain again," Chopra shared. Directed by Ilya Naishuller, 'Heads of State' stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas alongside Idris Elba and John Cena in lead roles. The film also features a talented ensemble cast including Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles. The singer, 31, performed a medley of songs including "125 Degrees" and "Off Script" on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday. Both tracks are included on her album Just Keke, released Friday. Palmer appeared on stage in a gold trench coat near an apparent street lamp. As the song continued, she removed the coat to show her red dress with red beading. Just Keke also includes "Act 1," "What Would Sharon Say?," "Anonymous," "A Kiki and the Bee," "My Confession," "Exposed," "Act 2," "Tea, Boo," "Amnesia," "Same [Expletive] Different Toilet," "I Wanna Know," "Ripples," "Act 3," "Unless It's You," "Misunderstood" and "The End." While juggling her school and other activities, the young one is trying hard to keep up with all the latest trends. "There are so many classes. Kids do so much. She wants to socialise with other babies." Previously, the couple revealed that she was into karate and piano, while managing a busy life in New York. Meanwhile, her parents are each building their own successful careers. With Nick Jonas' Broadway shows for The Last Five Years and Priyanka Chopra's shoots in India for SS Rajamouli's SSMB 29, the family is trying to hang out together whenever possible. The couple's last appearance together was at the 2025 Met Gala, which they took over with a polka dot dress for her, a hat on top, and a massive emerald necklace. Meanwhile, he wore a white shirt and black pants, complementing her look.
