Michigan football rolls out maize & blue carpet for top prospects in June 6 visit weekend 2026 5⭐️ EDGE Trenton Henderson on his official visit to Michigan @THenderson26 #GoBlue — uofmcoverage (@uofmcoverage) June 8, 2025 June 6 marked the beginning of the second official visit weekend across college football, and Michigan football hopes that some fireworks emanate from the first June slate of the cycle. The Wolverines hosted several top prospects, building upon the first weekend, but this time with a little more name power. Among the visitors were a high-priority five-star offensive tackle, a few top-tier linebackers, a wide receiver who recently decommitted from Penn State, and more. Most of the visitors posted shots of themselves in Ann Arbor wearing maize and blue, either from their photo shoot inside Schembechler Hall or their visit to The Big House. Michigan baseball blasts Ohio State, 23-1, on Saturday
Michigan baseball blasts Ohio State, 23-1, on Saturday That's a BIG Rivalary Win! Our largest victory over OSU in program history! #GoBlue — Michigan Baseball (@umichbaseball) May 3, 2025 Just like football. Michigan baseball hasn't had a lot of rivalry challenges thus far, only having a series and a one-off with Michigan State, and the Wolverines have won all four of those contests. The maize and blue were set to take on rival Ohio State on Friday night, but that opening contest of the four-game series was postponed, and Saturday's game was on with the weather clear. And the Wolverines blasted the Buckeyes in spectacular fashion. Behind a big fourth inning, Michigan baseball posted what looks closer to a football score than a baseball one. The Wolverines scored 16 runs in the fourth inning, with four hits, eight walks, and five players being hit by a pitch. Ultimately, the maize and blue took the first game against the scarlet and grey, 23-1. Infielder Cole Caruso was the player of the game, having gone 3-for-4 with four RBIs. The Wolverines won this contest with only one home run, courtesy of right fielder Robert Hamchuk. Michigan had 13 hits, including five doubles, but also left nine runners on base. Pitcher Kurt Barr went five innings and allowed three hits while striking out four. The Buckeye pitchers ended up hitting six Wolverines over the course of the game.
