Time of India11-06-2025

Giada In My Kitchen OTT Release Date: Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis is back, but this time, she's swapping her spatulas for a sledgehammer. Her newest special, Giada In My Kitchen, is set to stream exclusively on Prime Video starting June 23, and it's a fresh spin on everything we've seen from the culinary queen before. The show will be available in over 240 countries and territories, making it a global treat for fans of food, design, and stories.
What's the show about?
Unlike her previous food-focused TV shows, Giada In My Kitchen is more about transformation than recipes. This one-off special brings Giada together with Erick Garcia, a top-tier interior designer, as they work side by side to surprise deserving families with their dream kitchen makeovers.
The idea is simple but powerful - many home cooks are passionate and skilled, but they're working in kitchens that don't support or inspire them. Giada and Erick aim to fix that. From updating cramped cooking spaces to installing state-of-the-art appliances and beautiful, functional layouts, each makeover is meant to change how families cook, connect, and live.
Cast and crew details
Giada De Laurentiis – Host and Executive Producer
Erick Garcia – Designer, Co-Host
Mary Beth Anderson – Showrunner and Executive Producer
Courtney White, Deanna Markoff, Liz Fine – Executive Producers
Production Companies – Butternut (a Wheelhouse company) and Amazon MGM Studios
A new chapter for Giada
This special marks an evolution for Giada De Laurentiis, who left the Food Network in 2023 after more than two decades. She's now focused on her lifestyle brand Giadzy and exploring new ways to connect with her audience. Speaking to PEOPLE, she shared: 'It's less about cooking and more about transformation. It's helped me be okay with not knowing the answer and leaning on others to teach me.'
At 54, Giada says she's enjoying learning again and embracing the unknown. That energy and passion are all over Giada In My Kitchen - it's a feel-good watch that's as much about people as it is about pantries.
