Jake Borelli who plays Levi Schmitt is set to return to Grey's Anatomy
Jake Borelli who plays Levi Schmitt, a character who left Grey Sloan for a research position in Texas, is to return to Seattle in an upcoming Grey's Anatomy show.
The Thing About Harry actor, who had been on Grey's Anatomy for seven seasons, is the latest former Grey's Anatomy series regular to re-join the show like Jesse Williams and Greg Germann over the last few series.
Speaking to online entertainment publication Deadline last November, The Normal Heart actor said he was: "very hopeful that Levi will come back,
"I think the audience is interested to see what Levi is up to, I certainly am,
"He has so many connections to people still at the hospital, Jo, so I couldn't imagine the birth of those babies without Levi bending the world to get there."
"I think we also have this wonderful opportunity to have him grow off camera, and then to have him come back at some point and really be this boss that we know he can be."

Home and Away actor joins cast of RTÉ series The Dry as it returns for final season
The third and final series of the show has begun filming Home and Away actor Rick Donald has joined the cast of RTÉ series The Dry. Rick Donald will star in the third and final season of the show, Deadline reports. He will play the role of Daryl, a 'handsome and mysterious' Australian stranger, who meets the main character and recovering alcoholic Shiv Sheridan, played by Róisín Gallagher. The series follows 35-year-old Shiv Sheridan, a recovering alcoholic who after spending 10 years in London returns home to Dublin to a family who are not supportive of her newfound sobriety. The final installment has promised to dive deeper into the lives of the Sheridan family as long-buried family secrets come to the surface. As the family deal with the emotional reckoning, Shiv has to confront the possibility that the real problem may never have been alcohol – but may have been herself all along.

Eric Dane on living with ALS: 'I have one functioning arm'
In his first televised interview since being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Euphoria and Grey's Anatomy actor Eric Dane has shared that he now only has "one functioning arm". In a candid interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, the 52-year-old actor explained how the first symptoms appeared subtly, before gradually intensifying. "I started experiencing some weakness in my right hand, and I didn't really think anything of it at the time," the he said. "I thought maybe I had been texting too much, or my hand was fatigued," he continued. "But a few weeks later, I noticed it had gotten a little worse." He added: "So I went and saw a hand specialist, who sent me to another hand specialist. I went and saw a neurologist, and the neurologist sent me to another neurologist, who said, 'This is way above my pay grade.'" He underwent nine months of testing before getting his "sobering" diagnosis in April. Dane said he will never forget the three letters he received after his diagnosis. "It's on me the second I wake up. "It's not a dream," he stated. I made sure she got back to the water with her friend and continued on with the snorkelling. I was just heartbroken," he said. Millie admitted: 'The demands of it are incredibly high and I would see it as a little bit selfish to take up an opportunity in a position from somebody else when I'm not 100 per cent there. 'It wasn't an easy decision. I gave it a lot of thought. 'But ultimately, I thought this was the best decision for the team, but also for myself and using this summer to really just zone into mentally, physically, getting myself back in tip-top condition and just happy again, all round, just feeling like myself. It's obviously hard.'
