United Kingdom correspondent Alice Wilkins spoke to Lisa Owen about how the first pieces of a superyacht that capsized off the coast of Italy with Kiwis on board, have been brought to the surface and how a flight to the spanish party island of Ibiza as been described as "hell" because of some rowdy passengers. She also spoke about how a British endurance athlete said he's broken the record for running across the width of Australia.

Mother of Chooks is a joyful short documentary which follows Australian woman Elaine James who has become a minor celebrity - all because she keeps pet chickens. It was after losing her sister, that Elaine found companionship in a rescue chicken named Flapper - who she takes with her to cafes, parks, and has even toilet trained. Elaine has become a local legend - known as the Mother of Chooks. The short documentary film Mother of Chooks is showing at the nationwide Doc Edge Festival starting later this month. Super Netball goes global in deal with Whoopi Goldberg's AWSN

"This breakthrough deal puts netball on screens across the globe and cements our place at the forefront of women's sport," Netball Australia chief executive Stacey West said in a statement. "AWSN shares our vision of taking women's sport to new heights. Together, we're creating a platform for our athletes and game to shine like never before." Co-founded by Oscar-winning actor and comedian Goldberg, AWSN was launched late last year as the first global media channel dedicated exclusively to showcasing women's sports. "I am so proud to be thanking you for joining us on AWSN," Goldberg said in a video message to Super Netball released by Netball Australia. "I see that your fans are really loving you, so we want to make sure that we put you everywhere in the world so that everybody knows about you." - Reuters
