The Travelers Championship teed off for its second round on Friday without Jordan Spieth. The three-time major champion had to withdraw from the tournament after a shoulder/back injury. Today, another golfer has followed suit.

Si Woo Kim, with almost $30 million in career earnings, announced his exit from the tournament during the second round. He finished day one with a score of 1-over par. But day two has been so kind to him.
He recorded two double bogeys and three bogeys in the 12 holes he played before withdrawing due to a back injury. Kim participated in the U.S. Open, where he finished with a score of 12-over par.

As of now, Scottie Scheffler shares the lead with Austin Eckroat with 8-under par. Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley and Wyndham Clark are close with a score of 6-under par.
Clark has a rough week at Oakmont Country Club. He took out his frustration on the locker room, a picture of which went viral on social media. He apologized for his actions during a press conference on Thursday.

"I've had a lot of highs and lows in my career, especially this year some lows. I made a mistake that I deeply regret. I'm very sorry for what happened." He said.
He is playing quite well at TPC River Highlands.
"I made some of the short putts to keep the round going. I had a couple of par saves, even though it seems really small, like four- or five-footers that really keep the round going," Clark added.
"The same thing with birdies. I hit a lot of good shots in there to kind of six, eight feet and I made those, which really for me mentally just keeps it going."
