Hyd realtors aiding investor faith by supporting Bhu Bharathi

Hyderabad: Amidst nearly two lakh Dharani applications from land owners and farmers awaiting clearance for land-related problems by District Collectors and several writ petitions filed in the Court against Dharani's non-resolution mechanism, real estate developers are pinning hopes on Bhu Bharati, the new land records portal, for increasing investor confidence in emerging and semi-urban corridors of Telangana.
Naredco (National Real Estate Development Council) Telangana, a real estate representative body, said that consultative approach and stage-wise implementation of Bhu Bharathi, currently in Beta testing phase in three districts, will address problems that arose with introduction of Dharani portal.
President of Naredco Telangana, Vijaya Sai Meka told Bizz Buzz that the government is also mulling to conduct Revenue meetings at Mandal level wherein Dharani complainants can personally represent their land record-related case resulting in getting it resolved at the State level, itself.

India's growing real estate sector, which is reportedly projected to reach $1 trillion by 2030, is seeing gradual growth in the participation of women. However, they currently only comprise 11-12% of the workforce, according to reports. The women's wing of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), known as NAREDCO Mahi, is working to change that. NAREDCO, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, is focused on the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. Through NAREDCO Mahi, women are being empowered to take on key roles across the real estate value chain. The roles include design, planning, site supervision, and finance. "We are actively engaging with stakeholders to create inclusive pathways for women through our upskilling and outreach programmes," said Ms Smita Patil, President of NAREDCO Mahi. "In Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, women are now visible in legal, marketing, and client-facing roles that were once uncharted," she added. According to NAREDCO's data, 1 in 5 architects in India is a woman. Similarly, in Tier 1 cities, more women are leading real estate advisory firms than ever before. With the help of their formal training plans, digital certification programmes and labour training drills, the NAREDCO Mahi aims to provide upskilling opportunities to unskilled women labourers as well as promote their participation in skilled jobs like site engineering and construction planning.

Resolve all land issues by August 15, says Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy

HYDERABAD: Reiterating that land disputes continue to be critical issues in Telangana's socio-economic landscape, Revenue & Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Tuesday urged district collectors to work with a clear focus on resolving land-related grievances. He emphasised that the Bhu Bharati Act was enacted to address the issues arising from past irregularities under the Dharani portal introduced by the previous government. Newly appointed collectors — P Pravinya of Sangareddy, K Hymavathi of Siddipet, Hari Chandana Dasari of Hyderabad and T Vinay Krishna Reddy of Nizamabad — along with Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, Special Secretary, Registration & Stamps, Revenue department, met the minister at the Secretariat to discuss key issues. Speaking on the occasion, Srinivasa Reddy pointed out that hundreds of families in every village were still grappling with unresolved land issues due to flaws in the Dharani portal. He urged the officials to prioritise applications received during the revenue grievance sessions, and ensure just and timely resolution. Stating that the next two months would be crucial for the Revenue department, he directed the officials to resolve all pending, legitimate land-related issues by August 15, 2025. He underlined that it was the primary responsibility of district collectors to implement these schemes efficiently and deliver benefits to all eligible citizens.

Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Tuesday directed district Collectors to resolve all legitimate land related applications by August 15, the deadline set for tackling the state's ongoing land issues. The Minister, who met newly appointed Collectors in his chambers at the Secretariat, stated that hundreds of families in every village across Telangana are facing land problems due to errors stemming from the previous government's Dharani portal. He advised the respective district collectors to find solutions to all these issues through the recently enacted Bhu Bharati Act. Mr Reddy emphasised that top priority should be given to resolving applications received during the Bhu Bharati Revenue Committee meetings, aiming to alleviate the hardships and suffering experienced by farmers regarding land matters under the previous administration. He stressed that the next two months would be crucial for the Revenue Department, and all legitimate applications must be resolved by August 15. The Minister highlighted the significant responsibility of collectors in implementing government schemes and ensuring they reach every eligible individual. He suggested that collectors should operate in accordance with the government's guiding principle that it will work in line with the aspirations of the people.
