Ilkay Gundogan scored twice as Manchester City thrashed Al Ain 6-0 to secure their place in the last 16.
The Premier League side were far too strong for their Abu Dhabi-based opponents under a closed roof at Atlanta's spectacular Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The result seemed certain from the moment Gundogan, who has been linked with a move to Galatasaray, opened the scoring – perhaps fortuitously – by lobbing the keeper after eight minutes.
Teenager Claudio Echeverri marked his first City start by adding the second from a free-kick and Erling Haaland made it 3-0 from the penalty spot.
Gundogan finished off a neat move after 73 minutes before substitutes Oscar Bobb and Rayan Cherki struck late on to ensure City and Juventus will progress from Group G.
Juventus had earlier beaten Wydad Casablanca 4-1 in Philadelphia to also book their place in the knockout stage.

Real Madrid overcame an early red card for defender Raul Asencio to beat Mexican side Pachuca 3-1 in Charlotte and close in on the last 16 of the Club World Cup.
Xabi Alonso's side had been held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Saudi Arabian outfit Al Hilal in their opening Group H game and were without Mbappe, who is recovering after being discharged from hospital following acute gastroenteritis.
Real Madrid saw defender Asencio sent off after just seven minutes for hauling down Salomon Rondon.
The LaLiga giants, though, held out against a spell of pressure from the Mexicans to break the deadlock through Jude Bellingham in the 35th minute before Arda Guler doubled the lead ahead of half-time.
Federico Valverde volleyed in a third with 20 minutes left, before the Mexicans grabbed a late consolation through Elias Montiel's deflected effort.
However, Alonso confirmed in his post-match press duties that Antonio Rudiger had been on the end of alleged racist abuse.
'That's what Rudiger said, and we believe him,' Alonso said. 'It is important to have zero tolerance in these kinds of situations. FIFA now is investigating. That's all I can say.'
Marcus Rashford has revealed he would like to play alongside teenage prodigy Lamine Yamal at Barcelona.
Rashford signed a five-year contract with Manchester United in 2023, but spent the second half of the Premier League campaign on loan at Aston Villa.
The future of the 27-year-old under Ruben Amorim – who had left him out of several squads – remains uncertain, with Barcelona sporting director Deco last month saying the club 'like' Rashford.
England forward Rashford opened up about his ambitions in an interview with Spanish influencer Javi Ruiz, which was shared by BBC Sport.
Asked if he would like to be team-mates with Barca's 17-year-old scoring sensation Yamal, Rashford said: 'Yes, for sure. Everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully… we'll see.'
'It's difficult to put into words what (Yamal) is doing because he's not supposed to be doing that at 16 or 17. I don't think we've seen that before.'

Arsenal in line for summer transfer boost as Aaron Ramsdale deal proposed
Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has emerged as a target for a Champions Leagu side as sides line up to take advantage of his release clause at St Mary's stadium Aaron Ramsdale could be set for a surprising transfer this summer after emerging as a target for Galatasaray, with Arsenal set to profit from any sale. The Super Lig champions have a host of former Premier League stars at their disposal and are now interested in bringing the former Gunners goalkeeper to Istanbul. The Turkish giants already had familiar names in Davinson Sanchez, Alvaro Morata, Mario Lemina and Lucas Torreira in their squad last season, and have already moved to add Leroy Sane. Ilkay Gundogan is of interest to Galatasaray too, though his preference is to remain at the Etihad Stadium. And Ramsdale could be the latest source of their affection with the Saints shotstopper said to have a £20million relegation release clause in his contract. That could mark his St Mary's exit just 12 months on from arriving at the club from Arsenal in a deal which, Football London confirm, included a sell-on clause for the Gunners. The ex-Bournemouth goalkeeper, who has been relegated three times from the Premier League, has also found interest from West Ham. The Irons wants a new goalkeer following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski and Ramsdale is under consideration alongside Chelsea duo Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic. Manchester United have also been credited with interest in Ramsdale's services. Andre Onana has been linked with a move away from Ruben Amorim's side. And while Ramsdale's release clause would see Southampton make a loss after agreeing a £25m deal last summer, they may be pleased to say farewell to the England international. The goalkeeper is said to be on around £100,000-a-week and the club are likely keen to get his salary off their wage bill. But a loan has not been ruled out with Southampton not desperate to raise funds through large sales this summer. Ramsdale does want to feature among the top-flight however, and Galatasaray are the latest candidate for his signature per reports. The 27-year-old will be keen to find a new team as he attempts to press his claim for a place in Thomas Tuchel's England World Cup squad next summer. Galatasaray could satisfy a key component of experience that Tuchel wants his goalkeepers ideally to have. Tuchel said during the last international break: 'All our goalkeepers are not involved in European football, they're not used to European football which would be ideal. It's not a problem, Jordan [Pickford] behaves and trains at the highest level and we're very, very happy with him. He's doing everything at the moment to keep his place because he feels that Dean [Henderson] stepped up and found another level, another gear. 'Dean got a big title with his club and was a key figure in the campaign so that helped him a lot for his confidence. He also found a title and a decisive role at Crystal Palace. He got an important and vital title for his club and he was a big figure in this campaign. This helped his confidence a lot. 'Then we have the very young James Trafford who played a fantastic, record-breaking campaign with Burnley and got clean sheets. Hopefully he can prove himself next season in the Premier League and then the race is on."

Jobe Bellingham reveals why he only has first name on shirt after Dortmund move
Jobe Bellingham has just moved to Borussia Dortmund and, like at Sunderland, has opted to have his first name on the back of his shirt after being urged to do so by a former coach Jobe Bellingham claims he only dons his first name - and not his surname - on his shirt because he thought it would be "cool to have my own name" as he claimed there was no "deeper meaning" behind it. Bellingham has continued the trend by having Jobe on the back of his Borussia Dortmund shirt having also done it at Sunderland. It was his exploits with the newly promoted Premier League outfit that earned Bellingham his switch to Germany this summer. His last game for the Black Cats saw them win promotion from the Championship in the play-off final at Wembley. He's since made a £32million switch to the Bundesliga outfit and scored his first goal for his new club on Saturday as he found the net against Mamelodi Sundowns in a 4-3 victory in the Club World Cup. Not opting for the traditional last name on his top, Bellingham has gone with Jobe, which he's done since leaving Birmingham for Sunderland after a coach suggested he do it. He told FIFA: "Well, if I'm being really honest, obviously, it started when I first signed for Sunderland. I, maybe, thought about it a few times. I thought: 'Yeah, that would be quite cool.' But, only when people brought it up to me. I never thought about it like spontaneously on my own. READ MORE: Ilkay Gundogan responds to Pep Guardiola's claim over second Man City transfer exit "Someone close to me would say: 'That would be cool if you did that'. And then, someone who's quite special to me – a coach that I had at Sunderland and at Birmingham when I was a kid – he said: 'Why don't you do that at Sunderland?' And, just because I was young, I thought: 'It would be cool to have my own name on the back of my shirt'. So, it was more that than anything (else). "I wasn't really trying to have a deeper meaning behind it, but I suppose you can find that in that act. But yeah, I think it's quite unique and it's quite cool, and it's something that I enjoy having." His switch to Dortmund has inevitably drawn comparisons with brother Jude, who went from Birmingham to the German side. He thrived and eventually moved on to Real Madrid. Despite following a similar path the Dortmund new boy insists he is not simply copying his brother as he underlined his desire to be his "own man". He said: "I don't really care how it looks, but it might look a bit contradictory to some people. I was perhaps being biased against Dortmund for a very long time, because I have anxieties and fears and you want to be your own man, but I don't think I should let those stop me from making the right decision. "So for me, it was about choosing the right path, not necessarily a different one. I don't think my path has been the same as Jude's at all." Antonio Rudiger claims he was racially abused in Club World Cup clash
Antonio Rudiger has claimed he was racially abused during Real Madrid's Club World Cup victory over Mexican side Pachuca on Sunday. Xabi Alonso confirmed a complaint had been made after an incident towards the end of the Spanish giants' 3-1 victory in Charlotte. Rudiger had clashed with Pachuca captain Gustavo Cabral in injury time but it was not clear if the alleged abuse came from a player or someone in the crowd. "That's what Rudiger said, and we believe him," Alonso told reporters in his post-match press conference. "It is important to have zero tolerance in these kinds of situations. Fifa now is investigating. That's all I can say." Fifa, the world governing body and tournament organiser, has not commented but referee Ramon Abatti had crossed his arms in front of his chest, which signals the activation of the anti-racism protocol. It comes after Fifa were criticised by campaigners for dropping its anti-racism messaging at the Club World Cup, something they were forced to U-turn ahead of Real's opener against Al-Hilal. Real had shrugged off the early sending off of Raul Asencio to claim a victory that took them to the top of Group H. Asencio was dismissed in the seventh minute for hauling down Salomon Rondon - another blow for Alonso's side with striker Kylian Mbappe still missing through illness. But after soaking up a spell of pressure, Real broke the deadlock through Jude Bellingham in the 35th minute before Arda Guler doubled the lead. Federico Valverde volleyed in a third with 20 minutes left before the Mexicans grabbed a late consolation through Elias Montiel's deflected effort. It was Real's first win of the tournament and took them level on four points with Red Bull Salzburg, who played out a goalless draw with Al Hilal in Washington DC. Real play Salzburg in their final game of the first stage on Thursday night (2am Friday UK) but, with Al Hilal just two points behind, the group is wide open.
