Louise Thompson's ‘insanely comfy' £13 sandals instantly elevate holiday outfits
Louise Thompson has found the perfect shoes for summer that can be worn with anything and are 'insanely comfy', and her gold toe ring sandals are now on sale for £13 at ASOS If you've been trying to find the perfect pair of easy-to-style sandals for the summer, then you can consider the search over. Thanks to Louise Thompson, we've found the perfect pair that are chic, easy to style and, in Louise's own words, 'insanely comfy.' Louise wore the ASOS DESIGN Florrie Toe Loop Strappy Sandal in Black when she was a guest on brother Sam Thompson 's podcast Staying Relevant last week, sharing a snap of her outfit ahead of recording. She also showed a close up of the sandals on her Instagram stories, writing: 'These delicious sandals were insanely comfy and now only £22.' However, since Louise shared them, the sandals have landed in ASOS' huge summer sale, slashing the price even further from £26 to £13. The ultra-affordable sandals look far more expensive and luxurious than their £13 price tag, with a smooth faux leather strappy design and an oversized gold ring on the toe post. The chic gold hardware is mirrored in the adjustable buckles on the ankle straps, making them look much more high end. Toe ring sandals like Louise's Florrie Toe Loop Strappy Sandals have been everywhere this summer, and the ASOS sale is the perfect opportunity to pick up a pair for less. Still available in all sizes from a 3 to a 9, they also have a flexible rubber sole which makes them comfortable and easy to walk in. The minimalist design and luxe-looking details also make this a pair of sandals that you can wear with just about everything. Whether you style them with a simple pair of jeans and a T-shirt, a flowing maxi skirt on holiday or a pair of shorts and a bikini top around the pool, they're guaranteed to elevate your look in an instant. Although Louise's pair have broader straps, if you prefer a thinner strappy style this Lipsy Black Flat Metal Toe Loop Faux Leather Sandals are a great alternative. Available for £36 at Next, they come in both black and white. For something a little softer, Dune's Lyn Gold Toe Trim Sandals are ideal. They're a little pricier at £89, but are made from a soft brown real suede which keeps them comfortable and easy to walk in, although there's also a black pair with real leather straps available. However if you don't want to break the bank this summer, Louise's Florrie Toe Loop Strappy Sandals are perfect. Grab them for £13 on ASOS during the summer sale now.

Crystal Palace handed huge Europa League boost after £190million decision
Crystal Palace look to have cleared the path to play in Europe next season with John Textor selling his stake to American businessman Woody Johnson for £190million John Textor has sold his stake in Crystal Palace to US billionaire Woody Johnson - paving the way for the FA Cup winners to play in the Europa League next season. Textor's involvement at the Eagles had caused major issues given he is also the owner of French side Lyon, who will play in Europe next term. UEFA's multi-club ownership rules had left the Premier League side in danger of being denied the chance to compete in the Europa League despite their success at Wembley last month However his 43 percent stake in the club has now been bought by Johnson, owner of the New York Jets, for £190million. The deal has gone through provided it gets approval from the Premier League. It is understood that Johnson will be subjected to the same set-up at Palace as Textor was. Despite him owning 43 per cent of the club, he will only have a quarter of the voting rights with chairman Steve Parish and US investors Josh Harris and David Blitzer also having a say in the running of the Eagles. Palace officials, including Textor, had gone to Switzerland earlier this month to hold crunch talks UEFA officials as they looked to prove that Textor only held 25 per cent of voting rights, which meant he was not in a position of influence at Selhurst Park and not breaching their multi-club rules. Both Manchester United and Manchester City had been able to circumnavigate UEFA's rules in recent years, allowing them to continue playing in Europe. Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also the owner of Nice whilst the City Football Group own Spanish side Girona. Johnson's wealth stems from him being an heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical empire and a Republican donor with an estimated worth of around £7.38bn. He is known to be a close friend and financial backer of US President Donald Trump. Back in 2022 he was among those who attempted to buy Chelsea, but ultimately missed out with fellow American Todd Boehly leading a consortium that bought the Blues from Roman Abramovich. Johnson has controlled the Jets since 2000. But under his ownership they are yet to win a Super Bowl and have now gone 14 seasons without appearing in the post-season play-offs - the longest drought in the sport. She shared the news by posting the piece to fans, which read: "For Phoenix. Born sleeping, forever loved." The phoenix bird symbolises immortality, resurrection and life after death. Kelsey - who announced in January she was expecting her first baby with boyfriend Will Lindsay - wrote on social media: "Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt well wishes, I want to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share. "But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news. "I love you all and thank you for your understanding and space." After uploading the raw message, her followers were on hand to offer support and messages of condolence. Kate Ferdinand then posted: "Oh Kelsey, I'm so sorry. You've been through so much as a family already, this feels so unfair. "Thinking of you all and sending so much love." Kelsey Parker mum-shamed for admitting she doesn't put suncream on her kids She was referring to the fact that Kelsey lost her childhood sweetheart husband Tom Parker in 2022 aged 33 following a brain tumour diagnosis. Tom was aged just 33 when he died of glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer, just 18 months after diagnosis. She shares two children, five-year-old Aurelia and Bodhi, four, with The Wanted star. The family have remained dedicated to raising funds for brain tumour research in Tom's honour with an annual charity football match in his memory. Married At First Sight expert and podcast host Paul Carrick-Brunson then shared his close bond with Kelsey, and wrote: "Kelsey, I'm heartbroken for you. "Over the last year, I've had the privilege of getting to know your strength, your grace, and the immense love you carry. "This loss is beyond words. I'm holding you and your family in my heart. May you feel surrounded by love as you begin to heal." Giovanna Fletcher then put: "A beautiful name for a beautiful soul. I'm so sorry for your loss Kelsey." The trio were just a handful of celebs who sent their best wishes, with fellow mum and TOWIE alum Amy Childs who added: "I'm so sorry for your loss Kelsey." Fans were also quick to add their messages of sadness. KELSEY'S JOURNEY Kelsey went public with her new relationship in September last year, saying she knew her late husband Tom would 'send the right man for her.' She excitedly revealed her pregnancy in January before being pictured ring shopping with her tree surgeon boyfriend, 27, earlier this month. Yet just days ago, her "haunting" words about pregnancy came to light. Kelsey said in March that she was trying to enjoy every moment of her pregnancy after losing her husband to a brain tumour in 2022 taught her "how precious life is". Speaking to OK! Magazine earlier this year, then-pregnant Kelsey said: "I'm due at the end of June. I'm trying to enjoy this pregnancy more, because I think when you've been through something like I've been through, you realise how precious life is. "I know that sounds clichéd, but it's true." 6 Married At First Sight's Paul C Brunson opened up on his bond with Kelsey Credit: YouTube/@The Diary of a CEO 6 Podcast anchor Giovanna Fletcher sent a sweet message Credit: Shutterstock Editorial
