Thousands of citizens and residents across Bahrain gathered on Friday morning to perform Eid Al Adha prayers at designated prayer grounds and mosques across the Kingdom, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). Takbeers echoed from mosque minarets as worshippers stood shoulder to shoulder in a spirit of unity and devotion.
Sermons delivered after the prayers reflected on the deep meanings of Eid Al Adha, calling for renewed commitment to the values of compassion, solidarity, and peace. Preachers urged the faithful to uphold Islam's principles of mercy and brotherhood, while reinforcing the importance of maintaining strong social ties within the community. Special prayers were offered for the protection of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and for the continued peace and prosperity of Bahrain and its people.

Pilgrims in Mina
Meanwhile, Bahraini pilgrims in Saudi Arabia began the stoning ritual at Mina at dawn on Friday, marking the Day of Sacrifice. Following in the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), pilgrims made their way on foot from Muzdalifah after spending the night there.

Upon reaching Mina, the pilgrims carried out the symbolic stoning of Jamarat al-Aqaba, followed by the ritual sacrifice and the shaving or trimming of hair, completing the core rites of Eid Al Adha.
The Bahrain Hajj Mission continues to supervise the journey, ensuring pilgrims receive full support, comfort, and guidance.

NMS - Bahrain hosts achievement award ceremony
TDT | Manama New Millennium School, Bahrain held the Achievement Award Ceremony on 31st May to felicitate students from Grades KG I to VI (2024-25 session), who have excelled in scholastic terrains. Al Noor Commemorates Excellent Results
TDT | Manama Al Noor International School celebrated the Graduation Ceremony of its eighteenth batch of Grade 12 Arabic Section students, who achieved a 100% pass rate in the Ministry of Education Examinations. The event was held at The Gulf Hotel on Tuesday, 27th May 2025 at 7:30 PM. The ceremony was graced by Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation; Dr. Sana Saeed Abdullah Al Haddad, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Educational License; and Ms. Lulwa Ghassan Al-Muhanna, Director of the Directorate of Licensing Department, Kingdom of Bahrain — alongside the School's Founder Chairman Mr. Ali Hasan. Out of 78 students, 7% scored above 98%, 35% scored above 90%, and 63% scored above 80%. All students expressed heartfelt gratitude and joy over their academic achievements. On behalf of the graduating class, a thank you speech in Arabic was delivered by Sayed Abdulla Ali, and in English by Nasser Mohamed Jawad. The prestigious rolling trophy was awarded to Limar Ammar by the school's leadership. , School Director, shared that the management is committed to seeking even greater academic success in the future. Principal Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Kooheji also took the stage to highlight the school's milestones and progress throughout the academic year 2024–2025.

Revitalised 'Ain Umm Sha'oum' Spring in Mahooz Inaugurated
MP Ahmed Al-Saloum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Better Life Charity Association, inaugurated the revitalised "Ain Umm Sha'oum" spring yesterday in the Mahooz area, in collaboration with the Capital Secretariat of the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture. Speaking at the ceremony, Al-Saloum emphasised the association's commitment to reviving the historic spring, citing its cultural significance and deep-rooted place in the collective memory of the Mahooz community and Bahraini society at large. Collaboration and Community Engagement He underscored the importance of collaboration between government institutions and civil society organisations, noting that the association's assumption of responsibility for the management and maintenance of the surrounding park represents a tangible example of effective community partnership. 'One of the core values embraced by the Better Life Charity Association since its inception is the support of economic and social well-being through meaningful community engagement,' Al-Saloum stated, adding that all efforts are carried out in coordination with the concerned authorities. The reopening coincides with the start of the summer vacation, offering a place for children to learn swimming and practice essential water skills.
