Baloch Support For Israel's Preemptive Strike Against The Ayatollah's Regime
On June 15, 2025, the secular Free Balochistan Movement (FBM), headed by the renowned Baloch leader Hyrbyair Marri, published a statement on Israel's preemptive strike against Iran. In the statement, the FBM stressed: "The way in which Israel is resisting the Iranian state's expansionism and terrorism is commendable. It is a clear fact that Israel is not an enemy of the Baloch nation. On the contrary, extremist, and fundamentalist states like Iran and Pakistan are common enemies of both Israel and the Baloch people."
It then added: "The Baloch nation is fighting a battle for survival against these very states, and Israel's decisive military actions against the Iranian regime are not only encouraging but also represent a positive sign for the Baloch people, who have long suffered under Iranian colonialism."[1]

Baloch Scholar Warns Against The Manipulation Of Public Sentiment Through Religious Rhetoric By The Ayatollah's Regime
In addition, a prominent Sunni scholar in Iranian-occupied Balochistan, Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Naqshbandi, has strongly criticized attempts to portray the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel as war between Islam and unbelievers, calling such narratives misleading and dangerous.[2]
In a public statement shared on the social media platform X, Maulana Naqshbandi declared that the Iran-Israel conflict has no connection to Islam, and warned religious scholars and the broader Sunni community against falling for sectarian propaganda.
"Labelling this geopolitical conflict as a war between Islam and Kufr [unbelief] is a complete distortion of reality," he wrote. "This narrative misguides the masses and has no basis in Islamic teachings."
The Baloch cleric, who is known for his vocal opposition to Tehran's sectarian policies and support for human rights in Balochistan, cautioned the Baloch people to be wary of efforts to manipulate public sentiment through religious rhetoric.
Maulana Naqshbandi went on to criticize Iran's clerical regime, stating that it is now suffering the consequences of its own long-standing policies of fostering extremist groups. "The very forces the Iranian regime empowered for years are now contributing to regional instability and backfiring," he said. He then condemned the regime's use of sectarian emotions to divert attention from its failures.

Shafaq News / On Friday, Iraqi Wisdom Movement (Al-Hikma) leader Ammar al-Hakim praised Iran's response to Israeli strikes as 'a way that astonished the world'. Speaking at the fourth annual conference of Imam Hussein's orators ahead of Muharram (the first month in the Islamic Hijri calendar), al-Hakim stated, 'The Islamic Republic pursued negotiations, but then faced treachery and absorbed the shock.' Regarding Parliamentary elections, he urged Iraqis to participate 'widely, effectively and conscientiously', advising voters to choose 'righteous individuals on clear, service-oriented lists.' Meanwhile, the Grand Imam of Najaf Friday prayers, Sadr al-Din al-Qabbanji, predicted that 'Iran would ultimately dismantle the state of Israel.' In his sermon, he stated, 'This battle will end either with Israel's demise or its defeat, as per their historical narratives limiting their existence to 80 years.' He called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to surrender to Iran and urged US President Donald Trump to send a handwritten apology to the Iranian people. Al-Qabbanji also demanded compensation for Iran's material and non-material losses and the lifting of sanctions, warning that failure to do so would mark 'the eternal end of Israel.'

Sadr supporters protest in Baghdad against Israel's war with Iran
Baghdad – Thousands of supporters of powerful Iraqi cleric Moqtada Sadr rallied Friday in Baghdad and other cities against Israel's war with Iran, AFP correspondents said. 'No to Israel! No to America!' chanted demonstrators gathered after Friday prayers in the Sadr City district of Baghdad, Moqtada Sadr's stronghold in the capital, holding umbrellas to shield themselves from Iraq's scorching summer sun. 'It is an unjust war… Israel has no right' to hit Iran, said protester Abu Hussein. 'Israel is not in it for the (Iranian) nuclear (program). What Israel and the Americans want is to dominate the Middle East,' added the 54-year-old taxi driver. He said he hoped Iran would come out of the war victorious, and that Iraq should support its neighbour 'with money, weapons and protests'. In Iraq's southern city of Basra, around 2,000 people demonstrated after the prayers, according to an AFP correspondent. Cleric Qusai al-Assadi, 43, denounced Israel's use of Iraqi airspace to bomb Iran. 'It is a violation of Iraq's sovereignty,' he said, warning against 'a third world war against Islam.' Echoing the views of Sadr, Assadi said that Iraq should not be dragged into the conflict. In a statement earlier this week, Sadr condemned 'the Zionist and American terrorism' and the 'aggression against neighbouring Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen', referring to Israel's military operations in those countries. Sadr, who once led a militia fighting US-led forces after the 2003 invasion, retains a devoted following of millions among the country's majority community of Shiite Muslims, and wields great influence over Iraqi politics. He has previously criticised Tehran-backed Iraqi armed factions, who have threatened US interests in the region if the United States were to join Israel in its war against Iran. On Friday, Israel launched a surprise attack targeting Iran's military and nuclear sites and killing top commanders and scientists, saying it was acting to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, an ambition Tehran denies having. The assault has prompted Iran to retaliate with barrages of missiles aimed at Israel, with residential areas in both countries suffering. Iraq is both a significant ally of Iran and a strategic partner of Israel's key supporter, the United States, and has for years negotiated a delicate balancing act between the two foes. It has only recently regained a semblance of stability after decades of devastating conflicts and turmoil.
