Just hours after delivering a stunning spell in the IPL 2025 final that helped Royal Challengers Bengaluru lift their maiden title, Krunal Pandya took to social media to mark the moment and in a style only he could pull off.
In a viral photo posted across his social channels, the RCB all-rounder struck the iconic
Khaby Lame
pose — standing stone-faced next to the IPL trophy with both palms pointed towards it, as if to say, 'Here's your answer.' The image instantly caught fire online, symbolising Krunal's cheeky response to critics who questioned his move to RCB and doubted his match-winning credentials.

The post came just after Krunal was named Player of the Match for his magnificent 2/17 spell in the final against Punjab Kings at the
Narendra
Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
With PBKS requiring 191 for victory, Krunal dismissed the dangerous Prabhsimran Singh and Josh Inglis at crucial moments, choking Punjab's chase and sealing a dramatic six-run win for RCB.

Quiz:
Who's that IPL player?
It wasn't just the trophy that did the talking, Krunal also reminded fans during the post-match presentation that the Pandya household now boasts nine IPL trophies in 11 years. A fourth title for Krunal personally, the triumph also validated his Rs 5.75 crore price tag and the faith RCB showed in acquiring him at the auction.
While the image was playful, the message was clear: this was Krunal's moment — and he didn't need to say a word to make his point.

Sourav Ganguly reveals why VVS Laxman had stopped talking to him for three months: 'Anybody would get upset'
Former India captain Ganguly, however, added that the decision that angered batting icon Laxman wasn't personal, and the two eventually patched up with passage of time. read more Former India captain Sourav Ganguly revealed VVS Laxman did not speak to him for months after the latter was excluded from India's squad for the 2003 ICC World Cup in South Africa. Batting icon Laxman was a strong favourite to be included in India's squad for the tournament until Ganguly decided otherwise and fought for spin-bowling all-rounder Dinesh Mongia's inclusion in the South Africa-bound squad. Laxman is among a handful of notable Indian cricketers who never got to play in a World Cup. The closest he had come to playing in ICC's quadrennial showpiece event was in 2003, around which time he was a first-choice player in Tests as well as ODIs. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Ganguly opens up on decision to pick Mongia over Laxman for World Cup And Ganguly revealed Laxman did not speak to him for three months after being informed that he would not be traveling with the rest of the squad to the World Cup. 'It has happened many times when we rested players. They were unhappy. Laxman being left out of the World Cup…he never spoke to me for three months. Then I made up with him. Anybody would get upset…for a World Cup. Especially a player of Laxman's calibre. Quite natural that he would get upset,' Ganguly told PTI. Former India wicketkeeper-batter Kiran More, who was the chief selector at the time, had also revealed in a chat with ex-Pakistan captain Rashid Latif that the selection committee was in favour of including Laxman over Mongia, but captain Ganguly and head coach John Wright had other plans for the mega tournament. Ganguly, however, added that the decision to drop Laxman wasn't personal and spoke highly of the stylish Hyderabadi batter, who scored more than 10,000 international runs including 8,781 in Tests, making a strong comeback into the ODI side later that year. 'After we finished the World Cup, he was happy that we did well. When we came back, he returned to the ODI system. He played an outstanding series in Pakistan and Australia. We won in Pakistan for the first time ever, and VVS was very instrumental. They knew at the back of their mind that it was never personal,' 'Dada' added. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Ganguly had led India into the final of the 2003 World Cup despite a poor start, on the back of eight consecutive wins. The Men in Blue, however, fell short in the final hurdle, suffering a 125-run defeat at the hands of Ricky Ponting's Australians who won the tournament for the second consecutive time by winning all of their matches.

India's biggest flop film, even Amitabh h Bachchan failed to save it, film earned just Rs...., lead actors were....
Sometimes when a movie is released, and if it is helmed by a known director, has a massive budget, and features a star-studded cast, it is expected to be a superhit. However, the ingredients that are said to be the right formula for success don't always work. Similarly, when director Shaad Ali decided to make Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, fans thought the same. However, things turned out to be completely different. After the successful run of Saathiya and Bunty Aur Babli, director Shaad Ali decided to make another film, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. The movie was produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner Yash Raj Films and was one of the most anticipated films. Interestingly, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom had a talented star cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol, and Lara Dutta, with Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance. The soundtrack was among the top-selling albums of 2007, yet Jhoom Barabar Jhoom underperformed at the box office and turned out to be one of the year's biggest disappointments. Jhoom Barabar Jhoom Budget and Box Office Collection According to media reports, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was made for Rs 25 crore. However, the storyline fell short for the audience, and it only earned Rs 27 crore net in India and Rs 38 crore worldwide. After Jhoom Barabar Jhoom flopped, Shaad Ali took a seven-year hiatus from filmmaking and made his directorial comeback with Kill Dil. Starring Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar, Parineeti Chopra, and Govinda, the film also failed to impress at the box office. Despite having music composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with lyrics written by Gulzar, the film could not resonate with the audience. Some of the hit tracks from the film are Bol Na Halke Halke, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, and more.

28 Years Later Box Office: Danny Boyle's zombie horror film collects Rs 1.35 crore in 3 days
After Final Destination: Bloodlines had ended its run, the Indian audience got another horror film from Hollywood in the form of Danny Boyle's 28 Years Later. This Zombie film was released in theaters on June 20, 2025. This much-awaited 3rd installment of the 28 Days Later series is led by Alfie Williams, Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and others in the lead. As the fans had hoped, this latest movie opened with a positive response in cinemas. 28 Years Later starts slow: collects only Rs 1.35 crore in its opening weekend As expected from a horror film centred around zombies in the Indian market, 28 Years Later has seen a slow start at the ticket windows. It started with a net of Rs 35 lakh on Friday, and later showed an upward trend to Rs 50 lakh on Saturday. Later, the film remained steady on its first Sunday with a collection of Rs 50 lakh again. While this 2002 origin franchise enjoys a decent fanbase among certain sections of the Indian audience, horror as a genre has always had its limitations in the country. While it is performing extraordinarily in the remaining of its targeted markets internationally, the response to the film in India is comparatively much lower. A major factor contributing to its performance in India is the theatrical competition it is getting, not just from Indian films but from other Hollywood films too. The Indian theaters are currently flooded with several other releases like Sitaare Zameen Par, How To Train Your Dragon, Materialists, and Ballerina, among others. The Day Wise Net India Box Office Collections Of 28 Years Later Are As Under Days India Net Collections Day 1 Rs 35 lakh Day 2 Rs 50 lakh Day 3 Rs 50 lakh Total Rs 1.35 crore The Danny Boyle- directed 28 Years Later marks the theatrical return of this horror franchise on the big screen nearly 2 decades after 28 Weeks Later. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
