Sophie Cunningham isn't going to back down from a fight, that's for sure.
On Tuesday night, Connecticut Sun guard Jacy Sheldon received a flagrant foul for poking Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark in the eye. That eventually led to Marina Mabrey pushing Clark to the ground.

It wasn't until the final minute of regulation that Cunningham retaliated with a hard foul of her own. The veteran guard legitimately pulled Sheldon down to the floor during a fast break. That foul resulted in a near brawl between Cunningham and Sheldon. When the dust settled, the referees ejected both of them from the game.
"When you are winning a game by 17 points and you doing this stupid foul, this is just disrespectful," Connecticut head coach Rachid Meziane told reporters. "I don't know how Jacy and Lindsay [got] rejected from the game when they did nothing."
Cunningham, who has gained thousands of social media followers since her scuffle with Sheldon, doesn't regret her actions regardless of what's being said about her.

"It's a joke… the sound was too fitting! happy game day," Cunningham wrote for her caption.
Whether fans find it rude or not, Cunningham is clearly aware of all the jokes being made about her and Sheldon.
Besides, most fans laughed at Cunningham's post.
"This is gold," one fan said.
"Legend," a TikTok user commented.
"This is the best TikTok in the history of ever," another fan wrote.
Cunningham has received a fine for her role in Tuesday's altercation. However, she wasn't suspended for any future games.
As of right now, Cunningham is really benefitting from her feud with Sheldon. She's currently up to one million followers on TikTok.

WNBA fans will get to see Cunningham square off against Sheldon once again on July 15.
