Meghan Markle 'viewed as irrelevant' by royals amid explosive new swipe at Firm
Meghan Markle appeared to deliver a veiled dig at the Royal Family in a new podcast interview - and one royal expert has revealed how she believes the Firm would have reacted Meghan Markle has embarked on a publicity blitz as the second drop of her eagerly-awaited As Ever products were made available to fans. But it wasn't exactly the new products that raised eyebrows - it was her apparent subtle dig at the Royal Family in a bombshell new podcast interview. It came when the Duchess of Sussex was quizzed on her public image in an appearance on the Aspire by Emma Grede podcast, where she also discussed setting up her own As Ever lifestyle brand, as well as what drives her career goals. Emma asked Meghan: "If you could rewrite your public narrative from scratch, is there anything that you would do differently?" To which Meghan telling said: "Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth." The duchess gave no specifics about to whom she was referring but later talks to a 'lie' told eight years ago. Eight years ago, in 2017, former actress Meghan was dating and became engaged to the now-Duke of Sussex, and began preparing for life as a member of the royal family. Her comment about telling the truth came after Meghan had previously accused the palace of "perpetuating falsehoods" about her during her time as a working royal. But despite the seeming dig, royal expert Jennie Bond tells the Mirror that the comment will not have bothered her in-laws that much. The former BBC royal correspondent said: "I imagine they may see a passing headline about Meghan's latest exploits, but I very much doubt that any of them take much notice about what she is doing or saying. "She is someone they knew for a very brief period of time. I don't think Meghan forged a meaningful relationship with any of the royal family – except, obviously, her husband. And so I think she is viewed as irrelevant by most of the family." In the past few days, Meghan has released her second string of items for sale on the As Ever website, including new items, as well as her signature jam and flower sprinkles. It comes as she has also ramped up her social media presence on Instagram, posting ever more personal snippets of her life and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. And Jennie added: "She is now clearly carving out her own path as an influencer and would-be entrepreneur. To be successful in these fields she needs publicity. That's the name of the game. And so she is pumping out as much content as possible. "It's all about clicks and followers - which, in turn, bring money. I don't think there's even the remotest possibility that she would either want to return to life as a working royal or that she would be welcomed back. She's making her own way in life, and that's absolutely fine - good for her. "But personally I now find it laughable even to consider her as 'royal'. Hers was but a brief flirtation with a world she knew nothing about and which she very quickly decided she didn't like. I hope she's hugely successful in her new ventures. She's working hard, she deserves to do well."

Eerie optical illusion shows you are 'brave on outside' if you spot first detail
Optical illusions have a sneaky way of uncovering hidden parts of our personality - and according to this one, what you spot first could reveal if you project bravery to the world Optical illusions aren't just entertaining - they can also reveal surprising insights about your personality and how your mind works. At first glance, the image below might seem simple, but don't be fooled. These kinds of illusions have a way of tricking the brain, with two people often seeing entirely different things in the exact same picture. You might find yourself staring at it for ages, questioning what you're actually looking at. One illusion in particular has sparked plenty of curiosity, with viewers claiming it uncovers hidden truths about character and confidence. According to TikTok creator Mia Yilin - who has attracted nearly half a million followers by sharing these fascinating psychological puzzles - what you notice first in this image could say a lot about whether you appear bold and fearless to those around you. From a quick glance at the image, you might see both a fish and a cloud - but which did you see first? According to Mia, if you see the cloud first, you may "seem like a very brave and resilient person on the outside" but are actually "rather sensitive on the inside and are easily affected by the words and actions of those around you". Continuing to explain the personality type of those who see a cloud first, she added: "You hate the idea of settling for someone or something and have very high standards and goals. Your personality is so attractive and charismatic that people cannot help but be drawn to you." According to Mia, those who fit in with this category are normally 'kind and friendly' but can also be "quite threatening in times of competition". However, if you saw the fish first, the TikToker claims you have a "life is short" mentality, which means you live life to the fullest. She continued: "Your time is the most valuable thing to you, so you hate wasting it on people and things that don't deserve it". She also claimed those who fit in this category are very 'hard' on themselves and 'give 100%' whenever they do anything. "That said, you're also a major worrier," she continued. "And spend a lot of your time stressing about the unknown." Mia added: "You're an extroverted introvert who prefers to spend time alone but can also become the life of the party when needs be." In the comment section people were blown away by the optical illusion and Mia's observations. One person wrote: "Fish... and definitely true... I am an extroverted introvert." Another added: "I believed it on extroverted introvert." "Fish and it's all true," added a third.
