"We're just going to have one big one," Gannon told reporters during the week of mandatory minicamp. "We're going to practice with Denver Thursday. We'll get there on Wednesday — practice on our own, practice Thursday versus Denver, Friday be on our own and then play them Saturday night."
Because the Cardinals play the Broncos on a Saturday, they won't hold a full practice on Friday. That "on our own" will likely be just a walkthrough, as is commonplace the day before a game in the regular season.
Gannon sees positives in the joint practice, which will technically be held in Englewood.
"It's at altitude, the first thing, so that will be a good training exposure for our guys," he said. "Obviously, (Broncos head coach) Sean Payton is one of the best to do it. Their schemes are different than ours, all three phases. They've got really good players, a playoff team. It's going to be a good joint practice for us. I'm looking forward to it."

While we did focus on Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray already, let's see about all four starters in the division. NFC West quarterback tiers The four starters in the division fall into two categories: Borderline stars Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams and Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers fall here, and they are fairly tiered. Kyler Murray finds himself in a QB tier that he can and should disprove with his play in 2025. Yes, it is the season of lists and rankings. CBS Sports' Cody Benjamin ranked and tiered all 32 starting or projected starting quarterbacks around the NFL for 2025. The tiers? As this is a site about the Arizona Cardinals, we want to know where Kyler Murray falls. He was put in the tier for volatile veterans. We're entering Year 7 of the Murray era in Arizona, and no one seems to know whether the former No. 1 pick is past, within or approaching his prime. The quick-footed dual threat can still crack highlight reels with elusive moves and arcing downfield shots, but he's tended to be more volatile than settled as a passer. His 2024 season didn't help.
