Osman Al-Jundi, a correspondent for Cairo News Channel reporting from Omdurman, stated that North Darfur is witnessing major developments on the ground amid ongoing battles between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). He reported that the Sudanese army has successfully seized control of the strategic Atroun area, located northeast of El Fasher, near the border between North Darfur and Northern State. اضافة اعلان Al-Jundi explained that this advance comes at a time of heightened tension in the field, as the army continues its push into key locations that have witnessed intense clashes. Ongoing Humanitarian Crisis In a related development, Al-Jundi highlighted the worsening humanitarian crisis in displacement camps, noting that the Abu Shouk Camp in North Darfur was subjected to heavy shelling, which resulted in the deaths of 14 people and injuries to many others, according to preliminary figures released by emergency committees. He also reported that the situation in Omdurman remains dire, with the city suffering from a total blackout and water shortage for the past five days. This was caused by RSF attacks on power stations, severely affecting daily life—particularly for displaced people, who now make up a large portion of the city's population. Turning Point in El Fasher and Escalation in Al-Jazirah The reporter added that the battle for El Fasher, which has raged for a full year, has entered a new phase with the Sudanese Armed Forces making advances inside the city.
Meanwhile, in Al-Jazirah State, the Al-Abatour Camp, affiliated with the Sudan Shield Forces, was heavily bombarded by the RSF. The attack left seven fighters dead and 14 others wounded.

21 Palestinians Martyred by Israeli Gunfire in Gaza, Including 11 Waiting for Aid - Jordan News

21 Palestinians Martyred by Israeli Gunfire in Gaza, Including 11 Waiting for Aid At least 21 Palestinians were martyred and several others injured on Saturday as a result of Israeli occupation forces' gunfire in the Gaza Strip, including 11 individuals who were waiting to receive humanitarian aid. اضافة اعلان According to Palestinian medical sources, six people were killed and at least 10 injured by Israeli gunfire while waiting near an aid distribution point west of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat reported the deaths of five Palestinians and the injury of 15 others as they attempted to obtain aid near the Al-Shohada Junction in central Gaza. Additionally, three Palestinians were killed and others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City, with victims transferred to Ahli Arab (Al-Maamadani) Hospital. Another three Palestinian brothers were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Mansoura Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, while one more Palestinian was killed by Israeli forces northwest of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has carried out what has been widely condemned as genocidal acts in Gaza, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the aggression. The ongoing assault has resulted in over 186,000 casualties, including martyrs and wounded — the majority being women and children — in addition to more than 11,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and widespread famine that has claimed the lives of many, including children. — (WAFA)

Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari, the Iran-aligned Houthi's Chief of General Staff, survived an 'Israeli' assassination attempt but sustained serious injuries, the 'Israeli' Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan News) reported. The 'Israeli' air force reportedly launched a targeted strike Saturday night on the Yemeni capital Sanaa, aiming to kill al-Ghamari, a top-ranking military official in the Houthi leadership. While Hebrew Channel 12 confirmed the airstrike was intended to eliminate al-Ghamari, it stopped short of providing full details on the operation's outcome. However, Kan said later the Houthi official was injured but survived. Meanwhile, Axios cited an 'Israeli' official who described the operation as part of broader efforts to counter Iranian influence in the region, noting that al-Ghamari was considered the Houthis' highest-ranking military commander. Who is Mohammed al-Ghamari? Al-Ghamari serves as the Chief of General Staff for Houthi forces and is regarded as one of the group's most senior and influential military leaders. He joined the movement in 2013 and has led operations on key fronts, including Saada and Hodeidah.
