Animotion Media Group and Front Row partner to bring ‘Finnick 2' to MENA audiences
'Finnick 2' is scheduled for release in cinemas across the MENA region this fall, with a digital rollout to follow on major platforms.
UAE-based Animotion Media Group has announced a strategic partnership with Front Row Filmed Entertainment to distribute the upcoming animated feature Finnick 2 across the Middle East and North Africa. Under the agreement, Front Row has secured theatrical, television and digital rights for the sequel, marking a significant step in expanding the family-friendly franchise throughout the Arabic-speaking world.
Following the success of the original film, Finnick 2 continues the adventures of the mischievous yet lovable Finnick and his fearless companion, Christine. This new instalment sees the pair facing an unexpected magical crisis after Finnick accidentally activates an ancient walking stick, causing him to lose his invisibility and putting the secret world of the Finns at risk. Their journey to restore balance unfolds as a vibrant tale filled with fantasy, humour and emotional depth, offering audiences a heartwarming experience.
The film will be released in cinemas across the region with Arabic subtitles and will be supported by a culturally tailored marketing campaign designed to engage family audiences. A digital release is set to follow on major streaming platforms, ensuring widespread accessibility for viewers across formats.
The film is directed by Denis Chernov and the voice cast of the film includes Veronika Golubeva, Boris Dergachev, Mikhail Khrustalyov and Ida Galich.

The location is perfect as I can easily drive for 20 minutes to reach my work in Dubai Media City. The community is nice and there are friendly neighbours. The compound is secure with gates and very good maintenance. It is a good choice for families and professionals looking for affordable homes with a modern touch. Is there much around where you live? There's a variety of restaurants and a supermarket. It is close to the Al Qudra desert and Global Village too. There is a lot of greenery and parks for a walk, as well as a gym. How have you made the apartment feel like home? Being a gamer and content creator, I used a gaming theme. One of the rooms is just for streaming and making videos. I used a pop culture theme inside the villa with decoration, pictures and paintings. I'm a bachelor and don't cook, so I rarely use the kitchen. Is there anything you would change about where you live? Nothing major, but the only problem is it's a bit far from the city. It has well-connected highways but there was no delivery services when I first moved here. Things have changed since the community grew.

'First teacher': Dubai's royal family hail Sheikh Mohammed on Father's Day

"I learned from my father that giving is a value that makes life flourish.. and that responsibility does not mean a position.. but rather the ability to give," Sheikh Hamdan wrote in a post on X. F1 movie star Pitt finally gets to drive a Formula One car
Brad Pitt, whose new F1 movie is out next week, has now driven a Formula One car for real after testing a McLaren at Austin's Circuit of the Americas. The reigning world champions confirmed the Hollywood A lister drove a 2023 McLaren MCL60 car at the Texas track on Thursday. Media reports said the British-based team had been carrying out a private test with F1 regular Lando Norris and F2 driver Alex Dunne. It was the first time 61-year-old Pitt, who plays the fictional racing driver Sonny Hayes in the Apple Originals movie, had driven a real Formula One car on track. The cars used in the making of the film were Formula Two cars, modified by Mercedes to look like real grand prix racers. Champions McLaren had teased the drive on Thursday with a social media post of overalls with the initials BP and the caption "It's a Sonny day in Austin". Seven-times world champion Lewis Hamilton, a co-producer of the movie, said in March that Pitt had shown real speed while testing the F2 cars. "Watching Brad drive around at speeds over 180 miles an hour was really impressive to see because it's not something you can just learn overnight," he said.
