Rumer Willis recalls childhood moment that sparked her love for movies

Hollywood actress Rumer Willis has opened up about the very moment she fell in love with the world of cinema, revealing that her passion for acting was sparked during her childhood visit to the set of the 1996 film Striptease, in which her mother Demi Moore played the lead role.
In a candid interview, Rumer, now 36, shared a nostalgic memory from her early years that shaped her path in showbiz. 'I was just so enamoured and kind of like, 'What is this world? What's going on here?'' she recalled, describing the excitement and curiosity she felt while on set.
The film, which starred Demi Moore as an FBI secretary-turned-stripper, gave Rumer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the glamorous yet gritty world of filmmaking. Far from being fazed by the film's adult themes, Rumer found herself captivated by the costumes and energy of the set. 'During lunch sometimes I would go try and put my mom's shoes on and a feather boa and dance around the stage,' she fondly remembered.
Rumer admitted that being surrounded by actresses and performers left a lasting impression on her. 'There were all these ladies around me all the time. I was just so enamoured,' she said.
Striptease faced criticism upon its release, with Demi Moore confronting backlash for her bold role. In an interview, Moore reflected on the judgment she faced, saying, 'There was an interesting kind of judgement placed on a woman who worked as a dancer, but the idea was that this was a woman trying to take care of her child in the best way she could.'
Despite the controversies, Moore's performance marked a pivotal moment in her career. She became the highest-paid actress in Hollywood during the mid-90s and remains proud of the impact she made. 'I changed the playing field for all women,' she affirmed.
Rumer's memories of that time not only highlight the bond she shares with her mother but also underscore the powerful influence of growing up in a creative and unapologetically bold environment—one that clearly helped shape her future in film.

David Fincher might revive ‘Mindhunter' as a Netflix trilogy, reveals actor Holt McCallany

After years of fan requests, filmmaker David Fincher's critically acclaimed psychological crime thriller series, Mindhunter, might return soon, in a different format. Actor Holt McCallany, who starred as FBI agent Bill Tench in the series, has revealed that the project might be revived as a trilogy of films on Netflix. 'I had a meeting with David Fincher in his office a few months ago, and he said to me that there is a chance that it may come back as three two-hour movies, but I think it's just a chance,' McCallany said in an interview with CBR. 'I know there are writers that are working, but you know, David has to be happy with scripts,' added the star. Stating that he felt fortunate and privileged for being a part of Mindhunter, McCallany added that 'the sun, the moon and the stars would all have to align' for the project to materialise. 'So I think that in terms of dates and logistics, it could all be worked out, but it has to do, you know, with David really having the time and the inclination and being happy, you know, with the material. And, you know, that's a big question mark,' he said. Mindhunter, based on the book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit, premiered on Netflix in 2017. Set in the 1970s, it followed a special F.B.I. team helmed by agents Bill Tench (McCallany) and Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) that investigates the minds of serial killers. The second season of the show, which debuted in August 2019, contained hints about a plotline for a possible third season with the cliffhanger of the show featuring the BTK killer. However, the show wasn't renewed for a third season, with Fincher revealing that the show was a 'costly endeavour' for him and that it was too expensive for the viewership it had. In an interview with Vulture, Fincher said, 'I honestly don't think we're going to be able to do it for less than I did season two. And on some level, you have to be realistic about dollars have to equal eyeballs.' The director further said that the show was a 'lot for me' as he spent six to seven months a year for over three years in Pittsburgh in order to work on the series. Despite Fincher's statements, fans of the show have been requesting Netflix and the filmmaker to revive the series, and McCallany's statement might just be ray of hope they were looking for. Notably, McCallany and Fincher are set to reunite for the filmmaker's upcoming Netflix feature, The Adventures of Cliff Booth. The film, written by Quentin Tarantino, expands on the world of one of his most memorable characters from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Was Franklin Clinton the most grounded protagonist in GTA 5? (Here's why we think so)

(Image via Rockstar Games) In a world full of chaos, explosions, and complete insanity, Franklin Clinton felt like the only guy trying to get his life together. While Michael was stuck in a midlife crisis and Trevor was. .. well, being Trevor, Franklin gave players a real shot of 'I just wanna do better' energy. Here's why we think Franklin was the most down-to-earth and relatable character in GTA V . He Didn't Want the Streets — He Wanted Out Franklin starts off in South Los Santos, repo'ing cars for a shady dealer and running around with Lamar causing trouble. But unlike most GTA protagonists who chase power just for the thrill, Franklin actually wanted more — and not in a flashy, 'I wanna own the whole city' kind of way. He wanted respect , stability , and growth . That ambition made him feel real. He wasn't trying to be a gangster. He was trying to escape being one. The Only One with Common Sense Throughout the game, Franklin is constantly stuck between Trevor's psycho tantrums and Michael's soap-opera meltdowns — and he somehow stays chill through all of it. He's the guy calling out nonsense when things go off the rails. Whether it's calling Trevor out for being reckless or side-eyeing Michael for dragging him into FBI messes, Franklin's the "can we just focus for a second?" guy. And honestly, every friend group needs one. WHY FRANKLIN IS THE PERFECT PROTAGONIST FOR GTA5 STORY! His Loyalty Was Earned, Not Bought Franklin never blindly trusts anyone — and he shouldn't. He keeps Lamar at arm's length, questions Michael's motives, and takes his sweet time before letting Trevor in. He thinks things through. And when it comes down to that final mission choice — kill Trevor, kill Michael, or take the 'Deathwish' option — he chooses loyalty and finds a way to save both. That moment proved he wasn't just smart, he was solid. The Character We Could Actually Be In a game where you can blow up an entire block with a rocket launcher and drive off in a flaming jet ski, Franklin Clinton was the only character who felt... human. He reminded us that even in a city as wild as Los Santos, it's okay to have a plan, want better, and not get completely lost in the madness. Franklin may not have been the loudest or wildest of the trio, but he was the realest. And in a game like GTA V , that made him stand out even more. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story. Watch Episode 1 here
