Tyrone Minors could lose Ulster Final hero to Premier League club for All-Ireland bid

Tyrone may be without their ace marksman Joel Kerr in their bid to capture the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship title.
Kerr, who lifted the Man of the Match accolade following Tyrone's Ulster Minor Final win over Cavan at the weekend, is set to join Premier League side West Ham United this summer.
In scoring 1-2 against Cavan, as well as proving the architect of other scores, Kerr left an indelible imprint on the game and will be viewed as a big loss to the Tyrone Minor side just now.
Manager Gerrard Donnelly acknowledges the fact that Kerr's skills could take him down a different sporting avenue but it remains to be seen just what path his career takes.
His marksmanship underpinned Tyrone's win over Cavan but it was the manner in which he created one of Tyrone's two goals that underlined his sublime creativity and skills.
In the early stages of the second-half, Kerr led a counter-attack from close to his own team's posts in which he carried the ball the full length of the pitch before slipping a pass to Cathal Farey, who fired in the team's second goal.
With the Ulster Minor and Under-20 titles now under their belts, Tyrone are setting their sights on even more success.
Manager Paul Devlin, who gave outstanding service to the Red Hands as a senior player, has overseen the county's recent dominance of the Under-20 sector at provincial level and believes that several current under-age players have the potential to achieve success at the top level.

Arsenal in line for summer transfer boost as Aaron Ramsdale deal proposed

Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has emerged as a target for a Champions Leagu side as sides line up to take advantage of his release clause at St Mary's stadium Aaron Ramsdale could be set for a surprising transfer this summer after emerging as a target for Galatasaray, with Arsenal set to profit from any sale. The Super Lig champions have a host of former Premier League stars at their disposal and are now interested in bringing the former Gunners goalkeeper to Istanbul. The Turkish giants already had familiar names in Davinson Sanchez, Alvaro Morata, Mario Lemina and Lucas Torreira in their squad last season, and have already moved to add Leroy Sane. Ilkay Gundogan is of interest to Galatasaray too, though his preference is to remain at the Etihad Stadium. ‌ And Ramsdale could be the latest source of their affection with the Saints shotstopper said to have a £20million relegation release clause in his contract. That could mark his St Mary's exit just 12 months on from arriving at the club from Arsenal in a deal which, Football London confirm, included a sell-on clause for the Gunners. ‌ The ex-Bournemouth goalkeeper, who has been relegated three times from the Premier League, has also found interest from West Ham. The Irons wants a new goalkeer following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski and Ramsdale is under consideration alongside Chelsea duo Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic. Manchester United have also been credited with interest in Ramsdale's services. Andre Onana has been linked with a move away from Ruben Amorim's side. And while Ramsdale's release clause would see Southampton make a loss after agreeing a £25m deal last summer, they may be pleased to say farewell to the England international. The goalkeeper is said to be on around £100,000-a-week and the club are likely keen to get his salary off their wage bill. But a loan has not been ruled out with Southampton not desperate to raise funds through large sales this summer. Ramsdale does want to feature among the top-flight however, and Galatasaray are the latest candidate for his signature per reports. The 27-year-old will be keen to find a new team as he attempts to press his claim for a place in Thomas Tuchel's England World Cup squad next summer. Galatasaray could satisfy a key component of experience that Tuchel wants his goalkeepers ideally to have. ‌ Tuchel said during the last international break: 'All our goalkeepers are not involved in European football, they're not used to European football which would be ideal. It's not a problem, Jordan [Pickford] behaves and trains at the highest level and we're very, very happy with him. He's doing everything at the moment to keep his place because he feels that Dean [Henderson] stepped up and found another level, another gear. 'Dean got a big title with his club and was a key figure in the campaign so that helped him a lot for his confidence. He also found a title and a decisive role at Crystal Palace. He got an important and vital title for his club and he was a big figure in this campaign. This helped his confidence a lot. 'Then we have the very young James Trafford who played a fantastic, record-breaking campaign with Burnley and got clean sheets. Hopefully he can prove himself next season in the Premier League and then the race is on."

Jobe Bellingham reveals why he only has first name on shirt after Dortmund move

Jobe Bellingham has just moved to Borussia Dortmund and, like at Sunderland, has opted to have his first name on the back of his shirt after being urged to do so by a former coach Jobe Bellingham claims he only dons his first name - and not his surname - on his shirt because he thought it would be "cool to have my own name" as he claimed there was no "deeper meaning" behind it. Bellingham has continued the trend by having Jobe on the back of his Borussia Dortmund shirt having also done it at Sunderland. It was his exploits with the newly promoted Premier League outfit that earned Bellingham his switch to Germany this summer. ‌ His last game for the Black Cats saw them win promotion from the Championship in the play-off final at Wembley. He's since made a £32million switch to the Bundesliga outfit and scored his first goal for his new club on Saturday as he found the net against Mamelodi Sundowns in a 4-3 victory in the Club World Cup. ‌ Not opting for the traditional last name on his top, Bellingham has gone with Jobe, which he's done since leaving Birmingham for Sunderland after a coach suggested he do it. He told FIFA: "Well, if I'm being really honest, obviously, it started when I first signed for Sunderland. I, maybe, thought about it a few times. I thought: 'Yeah, that would be quite cool.' But, only when people brought it up to me. I never thought about it like spontaneously on my own. READ MORE: Ilkay Gundogan responds to Pep Guardiola's claim over second Man City transfer exit "Someone close to me would say: 'That would be cool if you did that'. And then, someone who's quite special to me – a coach that I had at Sunderland and at Birmingham when I was a kid – he said: 'Why don't you do that at Sunderland?' And, just because I was young, I thought: 'It would be cool to have my own name on the back of my shirt'. So, it was more that than anything (else). "I wasn't really trying to have a deeper meaning behind it, but I suppose you can find that in that act. But yeah, I think it's quite unique and it's quite cool, and it's something that I enjoy having." His switch to Dortmund has inevitably drawn comparisons with brother Jude, who went from Birmingham to the German side. He thrived and eventually moved on to Real Madrid. Despite following a similar path the Dortmund new boy insists he is not simply copying his brother as he underlined his desire to be his "own man". ‌ He said: "I don't really care how it looks, but it might look a bit contradictory to some people. I was perhaps being biased against Dortmund for a very long time, because I have anxieties and fears and you want to be your own man, but I don't think I should let those stop me from making the right decision. "So for me, it was about choosing the right path, not necessarily a different one. I don't think my path has been the same as Jude's at all."
