GTA Online winter update could finally introduce purchasable mansions
Image Via Reddit
Rockstar Games might be preparing to deliver one of the most requested features in GTA Online: Mansions. Though not officially confirmed, strong evidence from datamined files following the Money Fronts update hints at a winter DLC that will allow players to purchase luxurious homes through a new real estate business.
This long-anticipated feature could become a reality just as the game nears the end of its decade-long run.
Mansions hinted by new property firm and in-game assignments
The most significant tip comes from dataminer
Floorball
, who dug up text strings mentioning a company called
Prix Luxury Real Estate
. One of the strings states:
"You have earned an exclusive discount on a future property purchase,"
directly pointing to purchasable properties in the future. These strings were discovered not long after Rockstar rolled out the summer Money Fronts update, further supporting the idea that Rockstar is gearing up for an expansion in real estate.
The players can apparently gain this discount now, perhaps as a reward for engaging in the ongoing event. There are also a number of mission prompts in the files referencing helping Mr. Faber's client with luxury property development. These tasks have phases such as
"New Listings Due Diligence," "Fixes & Fittings," and "Hard Deadlines,"
indicating that players may engage in a property-building narrative prior to gaining access to purchase their own mansion.
Seeds of a slow-burning construction event and decade-long fan request
Rockstar can finally introduce a gradual construction event, which has long been a fan request since the never-done Mile High Club project. Dataminer @HeySlickThatsMe discovered props at two points in the game, which reinforce the notion that an in-game mansion development process is underway.
This would be a significant step forward in GTA Online's real estate systems, which have been fairly stagnant since the addition of high-end penthouses and apartments.
Fans have repeatedly asked for mansions as an exclusive item since the 2013 release of the game. There were even people who created rumors throughout the years because they wanted it so badly.
Though Rockstar hasn't directly announced mansions, the leaked game files provide the strongest indication yet that they're on the way in the winter update. Assuming that's the case, it would be a suitable addition as GTA Online raps up leading into GTA 6, finally providing players with the high life they've fantasized about for more than a decade.

GTA 5 actors pitch GTA 6 story DLC featuring Trevor, Michael & Franklin
As Rockstar Games prepares for the 2026 release of GTA 6, the favorite three from GTA 5, Trevor, Michael, and Franklin are not finished yet. The stars of the legendary characters announced their concept of a special story DLC that could see them return for an ultimate heist. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Now, they are calling on fans to campaign for their comeback. GTA 5 stars demand one final heist in GTA 6 DLC In a June 15 Comic Con Brussels panel, Steven Ogg (Trevor), Ned Luke (Michael), and Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) had their say about playing in the Grand Theft Auto world again. When asked by a fan if they would be in GTA 6, the three actors replied in a very positive manner, suggesting a possible story DLC of one final job. "That would be great," replied Luke, to which Fonteno chimed, "What you call it, 'The Final Score'?" The concept continued to develop onstage, with Luke proposing the title The Final Score. The actors grinned at the prospect of getting together again for one final heist in a different city, Vice City, the location for GTA 6. Fonteno even called on fans to act: "So y'all campaign. One last score." GTA 5: Steven Ogg, Shawn Fonteno & Ned Luke Q&A Session | Comic Con Brussels | 11-05-2025 What it might portend for GTA 6 and Rockstar's intentions As nice as the idea is for dedicated fans, Rockstar Games itself has not announced anything regarding story expansions for GTA 6. In contrast to GTA 4, which had several story DLCs, GTA 5 notoriously abandoned its single-player DLC efforts in favor of GTA Online updates. With GTA 6 expected to evolve both single-player and online experiences, the return of Trevor, Michael, and Franklin in a post-launch DLC could offer nostalgic value while bridging the old and new generations of players. Whether Rockstar will consider this proposal remains to be seen, but the actors' public appeal is already generating buzz online. The potential return of GTA 5's trio in GTA 6 as a part of a dedicated story DLC has everyone expecting a proper send-off. If Rockstar hears the mounting pressure, "The Final Score" might return as one of the most hyped expansions in the franchise's history. Until that happens, it's up to the fans to campaign and get their voice heard. Also Read:

3 skills players should be able to upgrade in GTA 6
GTA 6 is set to blow the roof off with its Vice City comeback, a wild new cast, and a world that looks more alive than ever. But if Rockstar really wants to level up the experience, it's time to bring back (and improve) a feature we've missed since San Andreas: skill upgrades. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Here are 3 skills players should definitely be able to upgrade in GTA 6 to make gameplay way more fun, personal, and replayable. 1. Charm and Charisma Think about it: Lucia's been through prison, Jason's ex-military, and both are deep in the crime world. These two know how to talk their way in (or out) of trouble. So why not let us upgrade that? A social or persuasion stat could unlock: Discounts from vendors or black-market dealers Easier getaway negotiations or hostage situations Alternate mission endings based on dialogue choices The ability to bluff or con NPCs mid-heist This adds a roleplay vibe and rewards players who want to talk instead of shoot — or at least try to. Can GTA 6 FINALLY Fix The Car Chase System? 2. Driving Skill Let's be honest: some of us drive like maniacs in GTA… and not in a good way. Imagine being able to upgrade your driving skills and actually feel the difference. Better handling at high speeds Tighter turns during police chases Less spin-outs on wet roads Maybe even drift bonuses? You start off as a reckless rookie, but after enough getaways and street races, you become the Dominic Toretto of Vice City. If Rockstar nails the driving physics (which it needs to), giving us a skill progression system makes every chase feel earned, not just scripted. 4 AMAZING GTA6 Technologies That Should Get You Excited! 3. Tech Skill Let's upgrade from just stealing cars to stealing data . With Cal Hampton already snooping on Coast Guard comms, GTA 6 is clearly dipping its toes into the tech world. Now imagine: Hacking cameras to scout missions Disabling police comms during a heist Remotely unlocking a luxury car Wiping your wanted level with a few taps It's giving Watch Dogs, but in a more chaotic, Rockstar way. And the more you level up, the more tools you unlock, like phone tricks to full-blown cyber warfare. GTA 6 doesn't need 100 RPG elements to feel fresh, but a few upgradeable skills would go a long way. Driving, charisma, and tech would add depth without dragging down the fun. It's all about giving us more ways to play our way. Rockstar, if you're listening: Give us depth. Give us choices. Give us skills that actually matter. We're ready to grind for greatness in Leonida.

5 GTA 6 easter eggs Rockstar can include in GTA 6
(Image via Rockstar) If there's one thing Rockstar always delivers besides chaos and controversy, it's easter eggs. Whether it's Bigfoot in San Andreas or the UFOs in GTA 5, the devs are known for stuffing their worlds with cheeky secrets, spooky nods, and pop culture throwbacks. And with GTA 6 shaping up to be the biggest game in the series yet, you know Rockstar's gonna go wild. Here are 5 easter eggs we absolutely expect to see in GTA 6, either because they're iconic, long overdue, or just so Rockstar-coded it hurts. 1. Another Bigfoot Cameo They teased us with Bigfoot for years, and finally gave us a full-on encounter in GTA 5. But let's be real: Bigfoot's basically family now. With Leonida's swamps and backwoods, the setting is perfect for a creepy cryptid comeback. Expect grainy sightings, spooky shadows, or even a mission that makes you question if Bigfoot's real or just some guy in a ghillie suit. Why Tommy Vercetti Must Return in GTA 6 2. A Tommy Vercetti Tribute Somewhere in Vice City Vice City isn't Vice City without the original legend: Tommy Vercetti. Whether it's a mural, a statue, or an old abandoned mansion full of 80s memorabilia, we're betting Rockstar throws in a tribute to the OG kingpin. They have to. Fans will lose it if there's even a 'Vercetti Enterprises' office somewhere. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Hasta 8 meses de protección Seresto Encuéntralo Undo Bonus points if it's hidden and only accessible during a specific time of day. Classic Rockstar. 3. Aliens Again, But Weirder Aliens have been a GTA staple since forever, indicated by crop circles, crashed UFOs, and even secret government bases. But Leonida's strange mix of wetlands, beaches, and sketchy redneck zones gives Rockstar room to take it further. 4. A GTA 5 Farewell Hidden in the World GTA 5 ran for over a decade. That's longer than some friendships. Rockstar has to give it a send-off. Maybe a broken-down car that looks like Franklin's Buffalo. Or a shrine to 'three legends from Los Santos.' Something emotional, subtle, and 100% Rockstar. You might laugh. You might cry. You'll definitely screenshot it. Why CJ Must Return in GTA 6 5. CJ or Grove Street References ' Ah s **, here we go again*.' You just read that in CJ's voice, didn't you? Grove Street and San Andreas left a cultural dent, and Rockstar knows it. Whether it's graffiti tags, a track on the radio, or some old NPC muttering CJ's iconic line, a San Andreas nod is guaranteed. We'd bet our last in-game dollar on it. GTA 6 is already looking stacked, but let's be honest — the easter eggs are the real cherry on top. Rockstar's gonna flex hard on the nostalgia, the inside jokes, and the WTF moments. And we're 100% here for it. Keep your eyes peeled, because Leonida isn't just packed with crime — it's packed with secrets. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story.
