ROURKELA: The agriculture authorities have strengthened monitoring to expedite the slow pace of registration for PM-Kisan and CM-Kisan schemes in the tribal-dominated Sundargarh district. The fresh registration process for PM-Kisan scheme was initiated from February to get a sanitised list of farmers and to create authentic database of beneficiaries with scrutiny of documents and other relevant records. After registration of farmers, the data for PM-Kisan would be utilised for the CM-Kisan scheme, earlier called KALIA yojana under the previous BJD government in the state. Sources in the Agriculture department said so far, the district has managed to complete registration of 15,291 farmers against the target of 1,90,805 farmers, which is barely eight per cent. They attributed the slow pace of registration to various reasons including the mandatory e-KYC and mismatch of information in different personal documents of farmers. Different common services centres (CSCs) have been authorised to register the eligible farmers. However, the CSCs are not keen to expedite the process as they barely get Rs 10 remuneration for a registration. The Sahayak mode in which any individual bringing a farmer to the CSC for registration would get Rs 10 incentive, is also not working with none showing interest, said the sources.

Oswal Pumps share price today: Shares of Oswal Pumps slipped 7 per cent to ₹580, falling below its issue price ₹614 on the BSE in Monday's intra-day trade. The company, engaged in compressors, pumps & diesel engines business, made a lacklustre debut on Friday, June 20, 2025. Including today's decline, the stock has fallen 11 per cent from its listing day's high of ₹649.15 on the BSE. At 10:09 AM, Oswal Pumps shares erased its entire intra-day losses and traded flat at ₹626 on the BSE. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was down 1 per cent at 81,549 levels. Oswal Pumps IPO details Oswal Pumps raised ₹1,387.34 crore via initial public offering (IPO). The public issue was a combination of fresh issue and Offer-for-Sale (OFS). The company did not receive any proceeds from the OFS. The company, however, intends to utilise the proceeds from the fresh issue for funding certain capital expenditure, investing in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Oswal Solar, through equity, funding the establishment of new manufacturing units in Karnal, Haryana, and for pre-payment/repayment, in part or full, of certain outstanding borrowings availed by the company. In FY22, 58.7 per cent of the revenue was generated from institutional customers, which increased to 75.6 per cent in FY23. However, this contribution declined to 43.4 per cent in FY24 and further to 7.15 per cent for the nine months ended December 31, 2024. The company did not generate any revenue from government entities in FY22 and FY23. However, in FY24, revenue from government entities accounted for 45.6 per cent, rising considerably to 78.51 per cent during the nine-month period ended December 31, 2024. Build PMAY Schemes With 1,000 Flats In Each Of 6 Constituencies, Says CM

Nagpur: In a major milestone under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Sunday handed over possession of 480 flats to economically weaker section (EWS) beneficiaries under the project Swapniketan, located at Mouza Wanjara. The symbolic key was handed over by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis , along with guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule and minister of state Ashish Jaiswal. Addressing the gathering, CM Fadnavis congratulated the new homeowners and praised the quality of construction undertaken by NMC. "The same quality flat is being sold for Rs18 lakh in the adjacent scheme, but citizens are getting the flat under PMAY for Rs9 lakh," said Fadnavis. He also proposed that similar PMAY buildings — with at least 1,000 flats — should be developed in each of Nagpur's six assembly constituencies to ensure accessible housing for all. "PM Modi has already provided funds for building 30 lakh houses in the state this year. Out of the 12 crore population of Maharashtra, over 1.5 crore will be able to live in their own homes thanks to PM Modi," said Fadnavis. Stressing Nagpur's place among India's green cities, he encouraged citizens to reduce private vehicle usage and make greater use of the eco-friendly electric bus service made available by the city administration.
