As for specs, Nintendo Switch 2 features a 7.9-inch display while still measuring 13.99mm in thickness, just like the original Switch. Its LCD panel delivers 1080p resolution, supports HDR, and can achieve up to a 120fps refresh rate with variable refresh rate.
The Joy-Con controllers are larger now and, as suggested, can operate similarly to a mouse—though a note clarifies that mouse mode only works with compatible games. They remain magnetically attached to the Switch 2.
Nintendo has explained the purpose of the mysterious "C" button on the right Joy-Con below the home button, revealing that it powers a new feature called GameChat. Previously seen in early videos and leaks, this square, "C"-marked button has now been officially explained.
The company has introduced the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, a dedicated accessory designed to sit next to your TV and enable video chats through GameChat using the new 'C' button, with functionality that allows your face to overlay the game or appear as a standalone video feed.
Nintendo Switch 2 will come with a GameShare feature that will allow one game owner to locally share a game with up to three other consoles—both Switch 2 and original models—while supporting online play and game chat. It will be available for select games, with titles like Super Mario Odyssey and Captain Toad Treasure Tracker among the first examples.
The company is even releasing a GameCube controller, which it says will be available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with the Switch 2 console.
Games compatible with Nintendo Switch 2
Most Nintendo Switch titles will work seamlessly on the Switch 2, including:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch 2 Edition)

Johnny Depp opens up about his relationship with his kids

Hollywood star Johnny Depp is reflecting on his fatherhood. The actor has said that he has "empty-nest syndrome". The 62-year-old actor, who has Lily-Rose, 25, and Jack, 22, with former partner Vanessa Paradis, misses the days his children were still young enough to call him "Papa" and he's amazed at how quickly they have grown up, reports 'Female First UK'. He told 'The Sunday Times', "Years get away from us, don't they?... I'm of the empty-nest syndrome". When asked if he misses having his kids around, he replied, "Oh man, my kids growing up in the south of France in their youth? I was Papa. I cannot tell you how much I loved being Papa. Then, suddenly, Papa was out the window. I was Dad. But Papa was awesome and I'm getting old enough for Papa to possibly come back. Some m************ going to have to call me Papa". As per 'Female First UK', the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star is currently living in London, but admitted the only place that has ever really felt like home was France. HAUNTED By King Charles? Truly, the first time I felt I had a home was the place in the south of France where Vanessa and I raised the kiddies. That's the only place that ever felt like home". by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like local network access control Esseps Learn More Undo Although Lily-Rose is a successful actress in her own right, Johnny would never have wanted her to follow in his footsteps. When asked what advice he has given her, he said, "Sometimes kids say to me, 'I want to be an actor, what's your advice?' And I say, 'Don't be!' I know what's coming for them. I was chucked on that road and the only advice that I can give is, 'Don't allow anyone to make you something you are not'. They'll want you to be a poster boy and it's tempting, a lot of money. And if that's the direction you want? Go for it. But don't let anybody choose for you". The actor has never felt comfortable with fame and rarely even goes out with his friends because he doesn't want to bring unwanted attention their way. He said: "Well, to this day I just rarely go out. If friends invite me out for Mexican food, I say, 'Dude, that's sweet of you but I will ruin your night'. My presence will bring attention and, Jesus, I have had almost 40 years of fame but I'm still not used to it. And I'm glad I'm not".

Wagle Ki Duniya: Pariva Pranati highlights cyber fraud and espionage scare; says ‘In today's digital age, identity misuse is rampant'

Wagle Ki Duniya takes a gripping and socially relevant turn in its upcoming episodes as Vandana Wagle (played by Pariva Pranati ) finds herself at the center of a shocking allegation. In an unexpected twist, the police arrive at Sai Darshan Society and arrest Vandana, accusing her of being a spy for a neighboring country. The accusation stems from leaked government information traced to an IP address registered under her name. The situation worsens when the police reveal that Rs 25 lakhs have been transferred into Vandana's account from an unknown foreign company, making it appear like a payment for leaking classified information. With mounting evidence against her, Rajesh (Sumeet Raghavan) and the Wagle family are left stunned, struggling to understand how Vandana could be implicated in such a serious crime. Pariva Pranati, who plays Vandana, shared her thoughts on the track: 'In today's digital age, cyber fraud and identity misuse are rampant, and what happens to Vandana is a wake-up call. The fact that her name and account were misused to frame her for something as serious as espionage shows how vulnerable we all are.' She added, 'I'm glad our show is highlighting this issue because we need to be more vigilant and aware. These scams can ruin innocent lives, and it's our collective responsibility as citizens to be cautious, report suspicious activity, and demand stronger cybersecurity systems." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Urologists Urge Men To Try This Breakthrough for ED Bring Back Fast Read More Undo Wagle Ki Duniya continues to blend social awareness with emotional storytelling, capturing the real-life struggles of the Indian middle class.
