
Hawar Islands meeting

His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, President of the Supreme Council for Environment, and Chairman of the Higher Authority for Hawar Islands Development, chaired the first meeting of the commission at Al Riffa Palace.
The meeting follows the issuance of Royal Decree (115) of 2024 establishing the Higher Authority for Hawar Islands Development. Members of the authority were present.
HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad stressed the importance of continuing to attract strategic tourism projects that offer added value, particularly those that highlight the Kingdom of Bahrain's natural landscapes, diverse environment, and rich cultural heritage.

Diplomats deployed to Turkmenistan to assist Bahrainis

The diplomats are overseeing and coordinating with the relevant Turkmen authorities to streamline entry procedures for Bahraini citizens stranded in the Islamic Republic of Iran, enabling their transit through Turkmenistan and onward travel to the Kingdom of Bahrain via Gulf Air, the national carrier.

HRH Prince Salman hails Team Bahrain for providing best services to Bahraini pilgrims

HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with His Excellency Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Undersecretary of the Court of Cassation and Chairman of the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, along with members of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness emphasised that the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa facilitate the pilgrims' affairs, ensuring that their pilgrimage is conducted safely and peacefully. Commitment In this regard, he commended HM the King's commitment to supporting Bahraini pilgrims. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's dedication, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in serving Hajj pilgrims and ensuring their pilgrimage is conducted safely and peacefully. His Royal Highness highlighted that overseeing the Hajj pilgrimage is a great honour undertaken by Saudi Arabia, noting the country's remarkable capabilities in successfully hosting the annual pilgrimage. He also commended the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, and other related government entities, for their efforts that have contributed to successfully assisting the pilgrimage. Shaikh Adnan expressed his gratitude for HM the King's commitment to enhancing the pilgrims' experience, ensuring their pilgrimage is completed safely and peacefully, as well as His Majesty's support to the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission. The Undersecretary also expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness's unwavering support for Bahraini pilgrims and ensuring the facilitation of their pilgrimage. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HE Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf and Chairman of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, and a number of senior officials, also attended the meeting.
