(NewsNation) — A man has been arrested and charged after storming the stage during Katy Perry's Sydney, Australia leg of 'The Lifetimes Tour.'
During Perry's performance of her hit 'Hot N Cold,' a fan climbed up on stage before being detained by security. Burwood Police Area Command said he has been charged with two offenses.

The man was reportedly released on bail and is scheduled for court on June 23. He is also banned for six months from the Sydney Olympic Park precinct.
In videos taken by crowd members, an unnamed man is seen running toward Perry as she is taking the mic off its stand. Perry was visually caught off guard and swerved to dodge the man's arm on her shoulder.
She still continued her performance, screaming, 'Well, there's never going to be another show like this, Sydney, so just enjoy it!' She can also be heard screaming, 'What the hell is going on?' to the audience.

Two security guards eventually chase the man offstage, with another staff member walking closely behind. Fans reacted to the viral video on social media, with some saying Perry 'handled it well' and others criticizing her for reacting in the way that she did.
Another fan criticized security, saying, 'omg that's not okay — why didn't the security do something BEFORE???? i mean katy handled it professionally and didn't panic, true performer behavior.'
It has definitely not been an easy year for the pop star. One source told NewsNation's Paula Froelich in May that her Las Vegas residency had been called a 'complete failure.'

'There was a bidding war between Resorts World and Caesars … and Caesars technically lost out — but in the end, Caesars won,' a source said. 'The residency was a disaster for Resorts World, a complete failure.'
The source also claimed that Perry was being paid 'between $750,000 and $900,000 a show because of the bidding war,' but she 'underperformed and Resorts World lost money.' Perry does have one show scheduled for Vegas during this tour, but it isn't a full residency.
On top of her failed album last year, she was also recently the center of ridicule after the Blue Origin space flight. Her current tour has also had lagging sales.
After the flight, the singer faced backlash because she spent most of her three minutes looking into the camera instead of out the window at Earth. She showed a daisy for her daughter and then the setlist for The Lifetimes Tour. Perry was slammed on X by regular users and celebrities.
Actress Olivia Munn criticized the space mission before its launch, saying, 'I know that this is probably obnoxious – but like, it's so much money to go to space. You know, there's a lot of people that can't even afford eggs.'
Even the fast-food chain Wendy's talked about Perry, commenting on a picture of her kissing the ground, saying, 'Can we send her back.'

Why Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom's Love Story Might Not Be Over Yet

Even though all eyes are expected to be on Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez next weekend for their Venice, Italy wedding, the guest list is also sure to cause a stir. TMZ already confirmed that Orlando Bloom will be attending the nuptials without Katy Perry, but for good reason — she had pre-booked concert dates in Australia. Still, fans are curious as to where their relationship stands after rumors of behind-the-scenes troubles surfaced in early June. But now, there might be some hope on the horizon for the longtime couple. More from SheKnows Orlando Bloom Reportedly Said What Everyone Else Was Thinking About Katy Perry's Blue Origin Flight A source confirmed to the Daily Mail that 'the rumors of a rough patch are true,' but they also offered more positive news: 'It's not at the point of no return.' The current strain is more situational since Perry is busy on The Lifetimes Tour and currently on an international leg. 'They haven't been able to sit down and work on some of their issues,' the insider added. 'A breakup isn't imminent, but they both know that they should focus on their relationship before it does become too late.' People magazine was the first to report that the 40-year-old pop star was 'deeply frustrated' by the criticism surrounding her album, 143, and 'it made her very stressed.' The disappointing sales caused 'some tension' between her and her 48-year-old fiancé. The pile-on only got worse when her tour wasn't well received, and her career wasn't taking off in the way she had hoped after her American Idol exit. Neither Bloom nor Perry have addressed the relationship issues publicly, but the 'Teenage Dream' singer did take issue with some of the online hate in a comment on her April 29 Instagram post. 'When the 'online' world tries to make me a human Piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, because I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is very much so a dumping ground for unhinged and unhealed,' she wrote. The dynamic duo met at a Golden Globes afterparty in January 2016. Their relationship has weathered through several on-again, off-again moments, solidly landing on an engagement in February 2019. Orlando Bloom Reportedly Said What Everyone Else Was Thinking About Katy Perry's Blue Origin Flight

Katy Perry's trip to space may have lasted just 11 minutes, but the fallout has been far more long-lasting — especially at home. The pop star and her longtime fiancé Orlando Bloom are reportedly navigating a serious rough patch after an 'explosive' fight about her Blue Origin space flight, led by Lauren Sánchez. The real issue? It wasn't just the memes or the daisy moment in zero gravity. It's what the space trip represented. 'He told her the whole thing looked ridiculous,' a source close to Perry told the Daily Mail. 'He said it was cringeworthy. Embarrassing.' For Perry, who has been under intense public scrutiny following the lukewarm reception to her album 143 and underperforming Lifetimes tour, the criticism stung — especially coming from Bloom. 'Imagine going to space — motherf****** space — and your partner isn't impressed,' the source added. 'Of course she was hurt.' More from SheKnows Why Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom's Love Story Might Not Be Over Yet The flight, which featured an all-female crew including Gayle King and Sánchez, was meant to be a milestone. Perry sang 'What a Wonderful World' in zero gravity, held up a daisy in honor of her daughter, and kissed the ground when she landed. What she hoped would be a transcendent, grounding moment quickly became internet fodder. Users mocked her actions as performative. The daisy, the song choice, even the silence when asked to sing 'Roar' — all of it was repackaged into memes and met with eye rolls. But it didn't end there. As Perry continues the international leg of her tour, Bloom is preparing to attend the three-day wedding celebration of Jeff Bezos and Sánchez in Venice — solo. Despite Perry's preexisting show dates in Australia, insiders say her exclusion goes beyond scheduling. 'Katy feels like they're really her friends more than his,' one source explained. 'She feels like it's a 'f*** you' to her from him.' The irony isn't lost on Perry: Bloom is attending the wedding of the people behind the space mission he openly mocked. 'That's difficult for her to accept,' the source continued. 'They're already spiraling and now the wedding is another thing they have to fight about.' The tension isn't new. Behind the scenes, Bloom has reportedly been frustrated by Perry's recent career decisions, from working with controversial producer Dr. Luke to the splashy rollout of 143. The backlash snowballed — lukewarm reviews, sluggish ticket sales, and a tour that hasn't quite clicked. Behind the scenes, Bloom reportedly urged her to slow down. Not out of control, but out of care. 'He advised her against this album. She did it. He advised her against space. She did it,' another inside shared. 'From where Orlando stands, all he ever wanted was for Katy to be herself.' Still, the couple — who first met in 2016 and share a 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove — don't seem to be calling it quits, at least not yet. 'A breakup isn't imminent,' another source noted. 'But they both know they should focus on their relationship before it does become too late.'Best of SheKnows A Look Back at Prince William's Sexiest Photos in Celebration of the Future King Amanda Bynes, & More Celebrities Who Joined OnlyFans Over the Years Every Woman Prince William Was Rumored To Have Dated Before Marrying Kate Middleton

Princess Kate posts sweet, puppy-filled birthday message for Prince William: See photo

Princess Kate is celebrating Prince William's 43rd birthday. The Princess of Wales, also 43, took to the family's Instagram account on Saturday, June 21 to celebrate her husband — who is first in line to the British throne — with a sweet, celebratory post filled with puppies. "Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies! 🐾" Kate said in the caption, signing the message from the pair's 11-year-old son Prince George, Princess Charlotte, 10, and youngest son Prince Louis, 7. In the snap, William was wearing a green button-up shirt and casual blue jeans. Kate's post came after she missed an expected June 18 appearance at Royal Ascot, in what would have been her return to the horse-racing event after she battled cancer. Prince William's kids share cute 'before and after' photos for Father's Day The message arrived just a week after Trooping the Colour, the royal birthday celebration for Charles. William, Kate and their children all attended, with Kate and Charlotte both dressed in aqua. The birthday note comes after Kate shared a Father's Day message for William from the couple's three children on June 15. The post also included two photos of William with George, Charlotte and Louis. The first picture showed the four standing and posing together, casually coordinated in jeans and sweaters, while the second showed them all lying on the ground and laughing. "Happy Father's Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you!" the caption read. The Instagram post was also signed "G, C & L." Contributing: Brendan Morrow
