It started like any routine announcement: 'Yaatri kripya dhyan dein.' But what followed wasn't a travel update; it had passengers laughing out loud.
Train announcements at railway stations usually signal commuters to stay alert and pay attention. But at Lucknow's Charbagh station, one recent announcement turned into an unexpected comedy show.
As reported by Dainik Bhaskar, a female railway employee forgot to switch off her announcement microphone. What followed was not an update on train timings or platform changes but a candid rant that echoed across the station's loudspeakers.
It all began like a standard announcement: 'Yaatri kripya dhyan dein (Passengers, please pay attention)." But instead of the usual travel advisory, what passengers heard next had them giggling on the spot. The woman's voice continued, 'Kitna besharam aadmi hai. Aurat ko dekh raha hai (Such a shameless man. He's staring at a woman)."
While only a part of the audio was captured on video, reports say the woman continued with, 'Phir gharwale kehte hai ye kaam karlo (Then the family tells me to do this job)."
The video captured two large loudspeakers on platform number 6 broadcasting the woman's remarks. The clip gained traction online with users sharing their mixed reactions.

'Keeping the mic on felt proved costly, next time I will check the mic before speaking, otherwise I will go viral," another joked.
Meanwhile, someone else said, 'After all, why is someone being trolled so much if he says something about himself? No one can express his/her views, it is just that it came out in front of the people, this is the mistake."
Amid the laughter, one person shared a more serious reflection: 'The issue that's usually silenced on the streets was shouted over the mic today—this wasn't just one woman's frustration, but a cry against the entire system."
The railway authorities have not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
This isn't the first time railway announcements have taken a quirky turn. Back in November last year, another viral video on Instagram had the internet nostalgic. It showed a cartoon woman mimicking a typical Indian railway announcement. It started off with the classic 'Yaatri kripya dhyan dein" to updates about delayed trains. Her animated expressions and over-the-top delivery gave the video a hilarious spin, which viewers loved.

Actor Salman Khan's haircuts and outfits have been quite the inspiration for his fans through the years. He added that Slumdog Millionaire 'felt radical" at the time it was made, nearly 20 years ago. He explained that only a few crew members from the UK travelled to Mumbai. The rest of the team was local. The goal was to work within Indian culture. 'We made the decision that only a handful of us would go to Mumbai. We'd work with a big Indian crew and try to make a film within the culture. But you're still an outsider. It's still a flawed method. That kind of cultural appropriation might be sanctioned at certain times. But at other times it cannot be," he said. Boyle also mentioned that if such a film were made today, he would want a young Indian filmmaker to direct it. Despite the challenges, Boyle said he was 'proud of the film." Along with actors Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Madhur Mittal and Anil Kapoor, the film's success brought Boyle into the spotlight as a major director. But he said he never wanted to become a typical Hollywood name. 'It all comes back to punk, really. Not that my work is truly revolutionary or radical… I believe in popular entertainment. I want to push the boat out, but take the popular audience with me," he said. Boyle's latest film, 28 Years Later, is now in theatres. It is the third installment in the 28 Days Later series, following 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007). The film, written by Alex Garland, stars Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams and Ralph Fiennes.
