Aerial yoga is the best form of workout and relaxation: Netri Trivedi

Netri Trivedi joins us for a shoot For Netri Trivedi , yoga 'helped me to overcome a tough phase of my life last year.' On International Day of Yoga, the actress, who recently completed shooting for Chaniya Toli, joined us for a shoot. She says, 'I would exercise in the gym before, but found it aggressive as a workout. Yoga is a more balanced and relaxing workout which helps me maintain my fitness and ensures good mental health.' Excerpts: ' Aerial Savasana is my favourite' I have been doing yoga for a while and I find aerial yoga fascinating. Two years ago, I started doing aerial yoga and it has been the best form of workout and relaxation. It also made me realise that there are so many asanas within aerial yoga. I enjoy doing asanas like aerial Surya Namaskar, but aerial Savasana is my favourite. Aerial yoga's antigravity nature helps you gain balance and posture while maintaining fitness. When you start getting older, your knees aren't able to carry your weight. But through aerial yoga, you learn how to hold yourself and allow your body to carry it. 'Today, I owe my mental and physical stability to yoga' Last year was difficult, with a lot of ups and downs in my life. But I didn't miss doing yoga for a single day, and it helped me overcome the struggles and anxiety. It would make me feel productive and release endorphins. There were many instances when I felt anxious, but doing some stretches would uplift my mood, sometimes even through tears. I owe a lot of my mental and physical stability to yoga today. 'Yoga is a 360-degree workout' Netri says, 'Today, life is unpredictable, and with the kind of lifestyle and diet we have, we see health scares even at a young age. Everyone should work out in whatever capacity they can. If one gives priority to their fitness for just one year, they will realise how everything changes for them.' She adds, 'Yoga, an Indian practice, is a 360-degree workout. We see people in the west and across the world practising yoga, so why can't we do that too? It relaxes your soul and benefits your mental health.' Netri adds, "Even if we take a break from doing yoga every day, it doesn't adversely affect your body with sudden weight gain, like it happens with gym workouts. It is very helpful for artistes, who have to take breaks often due to shoot schedules. In March this year, I was unwell for a month while I was shooting for two projects. It made me realise that health is everything for us today. I had stopped doing yoga due to my hectic shoot schedules, but I am back to it now. "

Prosenjit Chatterjee supports Aamir Khan's cinema-only release for ‘Sitaare Zameen Par': Aamir can take risk

Aamir Khan 's much-awaited film Sitaare Zameen Par hit theatres on June 20, and in a bold move, the superstar has chosen to release it exclusively in cinemas, skipping an OTT release entirely. This decision has sparked mixed reactions in the industry. In an interview with actor Prosenjit Chatterjee shared his thoughts on Aamir's choice. He acknowledged that while such changes are necessary in today's evolving film landscape, it takes someone with Aamir's experience and understanding of cinema to confidently take that kind of risk. Prosenjit Chatterjee on Aamir Khan's Bold Move Prosenjit Chatterjee said that Aamir Khan's decision to release 'Sitaare Zameen Par' only in theatres is a bold step. He believes that while this may not change everything right away, it's important that someone takes the first step. He also said there's no good or bad way to release a film, what matters is trying something new. "I remember long back when content would be sold to CD companies, and it paid producers handsomely. However, after a year or two, I realised that the CDs were already in the market in a few days, and the theatre business was getting affected. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Perdagangkan CFD Emas dengan Broker Tepercaya IC Markets Mendaftar Undo So I called up all the producers for a meeting and we jointly decided that while the rights would be sold off, we need to have a gap of a good 9-12 weeks. All producers came together, and things changed to a certain level," the Bengali actor said. Chatterjee Sees a Similar Trend from the Past Chatterjee mentioned that he had seen a similar pattern in the past when films first started premiering on television. "In three or four weeks, they would start playing Bengali and even Hindi films on television. So, we stopped that and said let's give it after eight weeks. To save the theatrical business and cinema, he (Aamir Khan) is a person who can think this way or take this kind of risk. Nothing will change, a film will come on OTT and then on satellite television. That's how it works, that's how we reach our Indian audiences. But let's see how this goes (Sitaare Zameen Par's only-cinema model), and I hope it works." Aamir Khan Returns with a Heartwarming Film Marking his comeback after three years, Aamir Khan's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' has received a warm response from both critics and audiences. Directed by RS Prasanna and also starring Genelia Deshmukh , the film is seen as a spiritual sequel to 'Taare Zameen Par', focusing on a heartfelt story involving children. SRK and Salman Show Support at the Premiere On June 19, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan joined Aamir Khan at the film's premiere. The two superstars were seen warmly interacting with the young cast members, fondly called the 'sitaare', making the evening even more special. While Taylor Swift is away, Travis Kelce and Brittany Mahomes share unexpected off-duty bonding moment

With Taylor Swift absent from the spotlight, tight end Travis Kelce surprised fans by attending a concert where there was Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes sans Swift. Taylor Swift MIA as Travis Kelce and Brittany Mahomes share unexpected off-duty bonding moment While the Chiefs' mandatory minicamp sessions are underway and Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce continue to lead the charge on the field, Thursday night offered a brief but telling detour. Brittany Mahomes documented the outing on her Instagram, offering a rare peek into their off-field camaraderie. In one post, she shared a selfie video with Patrick, showing the couple enjoying a relaxed evening. But the more talked-about moment came in a follow-up post — one where Brittany posed with friends, including Travis Kelce. Although Taylor and Kelce were seen just days earlier attending Game 4 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final together, Swift wasn't present for this outing. Instead, Kelce appeared at ease, hanging out with Brittany and friends during a casual, fun-filled night that reflected the close-knit nature of the Chiefs' inner circle. It remains unclear whether Kelce arrived at the concert with the Mahomes couple or simply met them there, but the easy camaraderie on display certainly sparked attention. While fans are accustomed to seeing Kelce and Swift make high-profile appearances — including their recent date night at the Stanley Cup Final in Florida — this latest interaction had a different vibe. It underscored Kelce's ongoing connection with the Mahomes family, even when Swift isn't by his side. Sources recently told People that Swift, now free from the pressures of touring, 'plans to be at as many of his games as possible.' With a less demanding schedule this fall, the couple is expected to enjoy more grounded time together. 'They've both had such demanding schedules for so long, so having this stretch of time where things aren't quite as chaotic feels like a welcome change,' the insider added. Still, while Taylor is momentarily out of the frame, Travis Kelce's continued presence in the Mahomes' world tells us about the friendship and team spirit in Kansas City don't pause — not even in the offseason.
