First Houthi missile strike in support of Iran targets Israel
Shafaq News / Yemen's Houthi movement (Ansarallah) announced on Saturday the launch of its first direct missile operation in support of Iran, striking Israeli targets in the Jaffa area with Palestine-2 ballistic missiles.
According to Spokesperson Yehya Saree, the group was coordinated with the Iranian army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC,) affirming that it had 'achieved its objectives.'
The missile strikes, conducted over the past 24 hours, mark a new chapter in the regional confrontation following Israel's Operation Rising Lion and Iran's retaliatory Operation True Promise 3, which included mass drone and missile launches targeting Israeli military and nuclear sites.
Saree urged Arab and Islamic peoples to act decisively and described jihad as 'one of the gates to paradise.'
Earlier this week, Abdullah Al-Nuami, a member of the Houthis' political bureau, told Shafaq News, 'The group will stand firmly with Iran and will never abandon it in the face of any American or Israeli aggression.'

Iran: 50+ arrests accused of drone espionage
Shafaq News/ On Sunday, Iranian police arrested 53 individuals accused of using drones to film public and strategic sites in the southern province of Fars, according to Tasnim news agency. Yousef Malekzadeh, deputy police chief of the province, indicated the arrests were part of an effort to identify individuals suspected of collaborating with Israel or engaging in activities aimed at influencing public perception and conducting intelligence operations within the country. Authorities reported that those detained were in possession of small drones and related spare parts. Many of the seized devices—16 in total—were equipped with various operational features. The group is also accused of filming sensitive locations and transmitting footage to opposition media outlets based abroad. The arrests come as Iran intensifies its crackdown on hundreds of suspected collaborators with Israel, which launched Operation Rising Lion on Tehran on June 13. Since the operation began, Iran and Israel have traded near-daily drone and missile strikes despite international calls for restraint.
