The blazing fast Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 is getting more and more affordable
If yesterday's OnePlus Pad 2 Pro launch made you sad that such an incredibly potent and affordable Android tablet is unlikely to ever reach the US, perhaps the latest and greatest Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 deal will manage to turn that frown upside down today.
This is not as large or as powerful as that hot new 13.2-inch OnePlus giant, but its 8.8-inch display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor are certainly advanced enough for a lower-than-ever price of $469.99.
$80 off (15%) 256GB Storage, 12GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Processor, 8.8-Inch LTPS Display with 2560 x 1600 Pixel Resolution and 165Hz Refresh Rate Technology, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Android 14, 6,550mAh Battery, 65W Charging, Two Superlinear Speakers with Stereo Audio and Dual X-Axis Haptics, 13 + 2MP Dual Rear-Facing Camera System, 8MP Front-Facing Camera, ColdFront Vapor Chamber Tech, Eclipse Black Color Buy at Lenovo At 470 bucks, the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage space is incredibly cheaper than Samsung's just-released Galaxy Tab S10 FE in an entry-level configuration pairing a comparatively modest 128 gigs of local digital hoarding room with an unremarkable 8GB memory count.
Granted, that thing does come with quite a bit of additional screen real estate and a built-in S Pen, but then again, the Legion Tab Gen 3's smaller panel rocks a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, and even more impressively, 165Hz refresh rate support.
That silky smooth display and the Elite Gaming-capable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC make this remarkably affordable bad boy an absolute mobile gaming monster, and before you even go there, let me highlight that an "advanced" cooling system is also in place to avoid overheating. Oh, and have I mentioned the "super linear" speakers that promise to immerse you in your gaming experience so deep that someone will need to pinch you to make you aware of your actual surroundings again? Okay, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but this is still without a doubt one of the best tablets (for gaming, web browsing, or Netflix binge-watching) you can currently get for under five Benjamins.

Weekly poll results: iOS 26 is a mixed bag, new features liked better than the new look
Apple has divided opinions with its new iOS 26 – it introduced new features, but is also a part of a wider effort to unify the user experience across all Apple products. As we noted in last week's poll, the new OS version is only available as a developer beta – an open beta should be out in a few weeks, the stable release will likely coincide with the arrival of the iPhone 17 series. What does the poll show? Around half of voters have found something to like in the iOS 26 update. That said, that was mostly due to the new features introduced in this version. As for Liquid Glass, the new unifying design language, that has its fans too, but they are in the minority. Positive impressions include better-quality glass visuals than Vista ever delivered and extended customization options. Negative opinions see this as just a skin at best rather than an actual major change to the UI. The computational requirements (more battery drain and more heat) of the new UI are also drawing ire. And, of course, legibility remains a concern – the good news on that front is that the Accessibility settings offer a toggle to reduce the transparency of the UI. The effects of the 'Reduce Transparency' toggle (image source) There is also a large group of voters who is not happy with either the new features or the new look – but part of that group just has a general anti-Apple sentiment. Not everyone, though, some long-time Apple users see this as a bad direction for UI. The 'wait and see' group isn't as big but Apple still has time to tweak details between now and Q4 when iOS 26 will be made available to the public at large. Subsequent versions will continue iterating on the design too.

iPhone 17 to come in two new colors - GSMArena.com news
22 June 2025 According to a new report, Apple is internally testing two new colors for the vanilla iPhone 17 - Purple and Green. However, the report claims that although Apple is considering the two colorways, only one will make the cut. Currently, the Purple one is reportedly the frontrunner. Meanwhile, the company is considering a Sky Blue color for the iPhone 17 Pro to freshen things up. Even though iPhone colors usually generate a lot of buzz, it's hard to beat the news about the display upgrade. Earlier this month, a report came in suggesting that the iPhone 17 and the 17 Air (likely to replace the iPhone Plus model) will finally feature 120Hz displays. Sadly, they will omit the ProMotion features. Those will remain exclusive to the Pro duo. Source
