Michael McIntyre attends Warner Bros Studio Tour just hours after dismayed comedian watched his beloved £195,000 Mercedes get TOWED in Kensington
Michael McIntyre looked in great spirits as he attended the launch of a brand-new feature at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London on Wednesday - just hours after his luxury sports car was towed in High Street Kensington.
The comedian, 49, joined pal Roman Kemp, 32, along with Made In Chelsea stars Tristan Phipps and Julia Pollard, to celebrate the opening of the major new attraction: The Triwizard Tournament - Making of Champions.
The new feature unveils the British filmmaking secrets behind Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the fourth film in the series was brought to life.
To kick off the celebrations, Michael, Roman, and England women's rugby star Maud Muir, 23, were treated to theatrical Beauxbatons and Durmstrang performances, reenacting their iconic entrances to the Hogwarts Great Hall.
The trio then approached the legendary Goblet of Fire to submit their names, mirroring the brave champions from the film.
For the event, Michael looked dapper in a dark blue suit paired with a pale pink shirt.
The star beamed from ear-to-ear as he posed up a storm in the elegantly decorated Gryffindor common room.
Meanwhile, Roman opted for a more relaxed look, wearing a white ribbed T-shirt and black drawstring trousers as he caught up with his friend.
Comedian Henry Rowley also attended the event and was wowed by the impressive displays at the newly revealed Backlot Stage, where fans can explore special effects techniques - from the creation of the Hungarian Horntail dragon to how filmmakers depicted Harry Potter holding his breath underwater.
Later, Michael and Roman explored the splendour of the Great Hall, where they were welcomed by fan-favourite characters Mad-Eye Moody and wizarding journalist Rita Skeeter, best known for her poison pen articles.
Elsewhere, Maud Muir took a daring walk through the Forbidden Forest, where Hagrid's dramatic reveal of the first Triwizard Tournament task to Harry Potter has now been recreated.
Open to the public from May 15 to September 8, the immersive new feature grants fans exclusive access to the Backlot Stage for the first time.
The indoor venue includes a digital screen, stage, and tiered seating, offering a deep dive into how the action-packed tournament scenes were brought to life.
The launch coincides with the 20th anniversary of The Goblet of Fire, marked by a month-long celebration.
Earlier this week, Londoners were left spellbound as a 'captured' 25-foot-long Hungarian Horntail dragon roamed the capital before returning safely to its rightful home at the Studio Tour.
Weighing 1.3 tonnes, the animatronic creature recreates the nail-biting scene where the dragon breaks free of its chains during the tournament's first task - and will embark on a UK tour throughout May.
Michael's appearance at the event comes hours after he was photographed speaking to an official as his high-end £195,000 sports car was hoisted onto the back of a lorry with its wheels clamped.
The comedian looked unimpressed as he had an animated discussion with an official, who wore a yellow hi-vis jacket as builders watched on.
The funnyman looked dapper in a navy suit and pink shirt while he sported his signature square glasses for his unfortunate outing into the city.
Michael's vehicle, a Mercedes-AMG GT R, had been hoisted onto the back of a tow truck as it was moved from the street.
The TV star's vehicle was towed after it was parked in a parking bay reserved for police vehicles.
MailOnline has contacted Michael's representatives for comment.
Michael's specific car model retails for anywhere between £155,000 to £195,000 and boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.
The limited-edition vehicle can produce 585 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds, with a limit just shy of 200mph.
It is not his first car from the German automotive brand, as he also owned a dark blue Mercedes AMG GT, which he purchased back in 2014.
The $144,000 motor boasted some very lavish features, including climate control, leather upholstery and parking assistance with a 360-degree camera.
It also boasts full LED headlamps, alloy wheels of at least 20 inches and heated front and rear seats.
Michael has long boasted a luxury collection of cars and has also owned expensive vehicles, including a Ferrari and a Jaguar, over the years.
The stand-up comic has also been spotted driving a £150,000 Ferrari California, which has a top speed of 193mph and can do 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds.
Back in 2010, Michael also purchased a £80,000 Jaguar XK convertible to ferry himself around the country.
The supercar has a V8 5.0 litre engine and can go from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds.
His top-of-the-range line-up of cars is also said to include a BMW X5 and a Porsche Cayenne.
Michael has previously told how he and his wife Kitty spent years living in rented flats and at one point were £40,000 in debt before he found national fame as a comedian.
Now, Michael is said to have a staggering net worth of £80million and also owns at least two multi-million-pound properties in the UK.

Alejandro Garnacho pictured in a Marcus Rashford Aston Villa shirt
Alejandro Garnacho has risked angering Manchester United fans by posing in an Aston Villa shirt carrying Marcus Rashford's name on the back. After a season in which both players became outcasts under Ruben Amorim, Garnacho posted the image of himself in the jersey while on holiday. The picture is included in holiday snaps he posted on Instagram of a trip to Ibiza, while he continues to weigh up his future as an Old Trafford exit beckons. There is little doubt that the image posted on Garnacho's official account is intended to be provocative. The No 9 claret and blue shirt that Rashford wore while on loan at Villa Park last season takes centre stage as Garnacho walks towards a Ferrari and a Lamborghini. Villa have been listed among clubs potentially interested in the 20-year-old, who is said to be keen on the prospect of remaining in the Premier League. Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Napoli have also been linked with proposals for the forward. Amorim did not name Garnacho in his 20-man squad for their final game of a miserable season after telling the Argentina international to find a new club. Napoli bid for Garnacho in January after selling Georgia forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris St-Germain for £63 million but were rebuffed. United are thought to want around £60 million for the Argentina forward, whom Chelsea also tried and failed to sign in January. The Argentina international previously angered United fans with his comments immediately after their crushing 1-0 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final. 'Obviously, it is hard for everyone. Our season was s---. We did not beat anyone in the league,' Garnacho told reporters at the San Mames Stadium. 'We lacked a lot of things. When you don't score goals, you always need more. Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today…'

Ryder left the BBC in 2005 to join ITV, where he has since taken charge of their F1 coverage and World Cup broadcasts. Speaking about his decision to retire, he told The Mail: "The biggest emotion as you get into the last two minutes of something like that is, 'For God's sake, don't c**k it up!' "Because you'd be thinking about that for the next 20 years. Lando Norris punished by F1 bosses with five-second penalty after being snitched on by rival Max Verstappen "I've probably outstayed my welcome. I've been hugely lucky with the places that the career has taken me. "But it's close to 50 years now, so the cracks are showing." Ryder was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October 2023. He underwent emergency surgery, which successfully prevented the tumour from spreading. He told BBC Breakfast: "They took one look and said, 'We're going to operate in two weeks'. "No messing around. We did Brands Hatch for ITV on the Sunday and I had the operation on the Thursday. "So it slotted into the schedule quite nicely!"
