Ohio State men's hockey releases 2025-2026 nonconference schedule

The Ohio State men's hockey team surprised a lot of people with their unexpectedly high level of play this past season. The Buckeyes lost a lot of key players but found a way to plug in more talent and shock a lot of people by making it to the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game en route to a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Things didn't end all that well on the national scale in the postseason, but it was still an overachieving year in which OSU went 24-12-2 overall and finished third in the League with a 14-9-1 record. It was a fun season, one that it hopes it can build momentum off of and take it into this upcoming season. And while we won't know the Big Ten schedule until a future date, the program did announce its nonconference schedule this past week, so if you are an ice hockey fan, and one that loves to watch the Scarlet and Gray, you've got something to look forward to. All told, the Buckeyes will host five nonconference games and go on the road for another five. Here's how it all plays out prior to hitting the conference for Big Ten play: 2025-26 Ohio State Men's Hockey Oct. 10-11 – Northern MichiganOct. 17-18 – at UConnOct. 24-25 – Sacred Heart UniversityNov. 28-29 – at Arizona State UniversityJan. 2 – Bowling GreenJan. 3 – at Bowling Green It won't be an easy road for Ohio State -- it never is in the Big Ten -- but hopefully, the Buckeyes can win their fair share of these nonconference games to prepare for what's to come in conference and beyond. And while we are at it, the deadline to renew season tickets is 4 p.m. ET June 30, and new season ticket packages are available now. For more information or to view available seating options, go online or contact the Ohio State Athletics Ticket Office by calling 1-800-GOBUCKS or by emailing Other ticket options including groups, miniplans, and single games, will be available for purchase later this summer. Texas A&M commit and 2026 4-star WR invited to Rivals Five-Star event

Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class is chock-full of talent at every position. Over the past week, two of the program's elite commits, four-star quarterback Helaman Casuga and four-star edge rusher Jordan Carter, have been invited to the annual Rivals Five-Star event in Indianapolis, Indiana, which now features the Aggies' top-ranked wide receiver commit. On Friday, it was revealed that 2024 four-star wide receiver Aaron Gregory has become the newest A&M commit to be invited to the event of the summer, showcasing his elite talent. This is highly unsurprising, given his impressive play this summer during various camps, where he demonstrated his elite route-running and improved downfield speed. Earlier this month, running back Jonathan Hatton and tight end Caleb Tafua, along with Gregory, shut down their recruitment and will sign with the program as soon as Early Signing Day on December 4. During his 2024 junior season at Douglas County HS, Gregory reeled in 53 receptions for 914 yards and nine touchdowns after recording 795 yards and eight touchdowns during the previous season. Gregory's ability to quickly separate in coverage and make plays after the catch is similar to former A&M wideout and current Oregon standout Evan Stewart. As soon as Gregory steps on campus, the Georgia native has a chance to climb up the 2026 depth chart as a third or fourth option during his freshman season. Kacey Musgraves has shared some startling news. The 36-year-old country music star took to Instagram on Friday, June 20, to announce that she had to postpone a show scheduled for Sunday in Nashville because she broke a rib in Mexico earlier this week. 'Sooo, I'm in Mexico with a f‑‑king broken rib,' Musgraves wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside an X-ray image of her torso. 'Wednesday night it was raining and I was running to grab some towels and had an extremely hard fall on some very slick tile I didn't see.' Advertisement The 'Follow Your Arrow' hitmaker then apologized for having to reschedule her concert at Sing for Science's 'The Magic of Mushrooms' event at the Ryman Auditorium on Sunday night. 'There is no physical way I can get on a plane and fly back to Nashville for the Sing for Science event,' Musgraves said. 'I am extremely bummed to have to reschedule as I have been looking forward to this for months.' 6 'Sooo, I'm in Mexico with a f‑‑king broken rib,' Musgraves wrote on her Instagram Stories. spaceykacey/Instagram 'But there is literally no other option,' she added. 'I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.' Advertisement The event has been rescheduled for Sept. 18, according to Musgraves, and original tickets will be honored for the new date. Musgraves' shocking injury this week comes months after the 'Deeper Well' artist made headlines for her 'pissed' reaction at the 2025 Grammy Awards in February. Although 'Deeper Well' was nominated for Best Country Album, Musgraves lost out to Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' record. 6 The event has been rescheduled for Sept. 18, according to Musgraves, and original tickets will be valid for the new date. WWD via Getty Images 'Is Kacey Musgraves mad that Beyoncé won?' one viewer wrote after the 'Slow Burn' singer's reaction went viral. 'She sure looks it.' 'Kacey musgraves is looking pissed after losing to beyonce,' another person tweeted. However, Musgraves later broke her silence to shut down the rumors that she was mad about losing the Grammy Award for Best Country Album to the 43-year-old superstar. 'It's a sensationalistic false narrative meant to pit two talented female artists against each other,' her rep responded in a statement. 'There was simply no scowl or expression made.'
