One pedestrian killed, another severely injured, Montgomery police say

Two vehicles struck two pedestrians Saturday night in Montgomery, killing one and inflicting life threatening injuries on the other, Montgomery Police Department Lt. David Wise said.
At 8:42 p.m. May 24, MPD and fire medics responded to the 900 block of East South Boulevard on a service road. In a release, Wise described the scene as a "two vehicles vs two pedestrians accident."
MPD has not yet identified the two pedestrians, both of whom are male. One was pronounced dead from his injuries. The other suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, MPD Lt. David Wise said. No other details were immediately released by police.
